I bought this to clean a 30′ chimney that I have on the pallet burning stove for my commercial building. For the cost of this item I wouldn’t be able to get the chimney cleaned one time by a professional. Because this is a commercial setting and the stove is the size of a garden shed which is filled with wood daily, and much of the scraps that go in there are soft wood which is not recommend because it produces much more creosote, we use this sweep kit every week or every other week. I have purchased 2 so far and will continue to buy them as the ones I have wear out. Because of the length needed to get to the top, it takes two of us working together. One person is on the drill running the head and the other is feeding it up the chimney. The concept is simple, but it works great! I recommend this to friends and acquaintances all the time. Great product, I can’t say enough about it!
Chimney liner was not very dirty but I was able to tape a camera on the end to inspect.
The sections are just flexible enough to feed up through the fire place.
Cheap drill worked well.
Storage bag keeps everything together when not in use.
Hate going up on the roof but need to clean chimney several times each season. Even my wife said: “Is that all there is to it? I can do that!”
Vanno bene. Puliscono bene. C e solo una cosa. Vanno nastrate bene nelle giunte quando si usano. Nelle curve si schiaccia il nottolino e si sganciano. Ho tribolato parecchio x poterla recuperare. Questo nn dovrebbe proprio succedere. Penso che vevor dovrebbe pensare a qualcosa x mettere in sicurezza le giuntenon si devono assolutamente sganciare e questo gi capitato a troppi.
I love this chimney cleaner. We have had wood stove almost fifty years and we had to disassemble pipe to clean.
Very easy to use, I ain’t no spring chicken. I reach inside stove to access pipe and it does all the work. Rods are very flexible to reach all turns. Husband was skeptical but now he knows it works. Cleaned lower chimney well. Now have to go one roof to do top. So much easier than taking L shape pipe apart, dragging outside and manually cleaning.
Only problem is ROD extensions come apart but I think duct tape will help. A+ great idea.
I found it easy enough to use and bought another kit the same on account of I broke a section but it was my fault in the learning curve and now I have extra pieces, just in case. Sweep wanted $450 to come out here and clean one chimney and leave his paw prints all over the wall and soot on the carpet. This was my favorite purchase from 2022. Perfect for anyone inclined to DIY. Others have said the connectors are hard to manage. I didn’t find that to be true but my hands are smaller so maybe it’s easier for me to push them in.
This chimney sweeping device did exactly what it was advertised to do. It was easy to set up easy to use easy to take apart. I highly recommend this product.
Lo he usado un par de veces y la verdad es que estoy muy contento fcil de montar y la calidad se ve buena robusto aunque el precio es un poco alto para ser unas piezas de plstico creo que merece la pena ya que haba comprado antes otro ms barato que se me rompi el primer da y tuve que cambiarlo por este as que hay veces que es mejor pagar un poco ms y que funcione al menos igual se me rompe dentro de 2 aos pero de momento est funcionando genial
Usato con un trapano/avvitatore a batterie, la canna del camino tornata come nuova, ha superato agevolmente due curve a 45 molto vicine tra loro poste nella parte finale della canna. Ho effettuato la pulizia dal comignolo al camino ( che avevo siggillato in precedenza). Molto pratico
This thing did a great gob cleaning the chimney but it does had no idea how much soot was in the chimney ended up with about half a grocery bag full it does get a little messy but this product works
Utiliser pour la premire fois, a fait le job, le conduit est nickel. Il faut que je ferme mieux devant le pole car poussire malgr avoir 2 aspirateurs de chantier.
Our wood stove has a metal baffle like a shelf that constrains access to the flue, but I was able to curve the rod past it easily. I did get some light scratching on the rods , but nothing serious. I did everything by myself, but it would be easier to have one person run the drill, and one guide the rods. If you get the drill close to where the creosote and soot are raining down, the drill’s fan will make a real mess.
I love how it saved me a lot of money and didn’t have to hire a professional and it’s pretty easy to assemble and use, the one thing I don’t like is that the locking pins tends to get stuck and one of them I already had to discard
Vraiment pratique pour ma sortie de pole cela m’vite de sortir l’chelle de 15 mtre pour monter sur le toit , donc facile a monter, pratique ,sa ma l’air solide,trs flexibles et je gagne niveau scurit en hiver que de mont sur mon toit en hiver je conseil pour le ramonage par le bas . peut-tre prvoir une vieille visseuse pour faire ce travail car je pense qu’elle doit forc

FUNZIONAMENTO & MONTAGGIO:
La spazzola di facile montaggio. Le clip delle aste si “clippano” bene e sono molto resistenti. Pensavo pi “delicate” sinceramente. Certo non un prodotto “professionale,” diciamo, ma per uso domestico va pi che bene.
L’ inserto per il fissaggio al trapano/avvitatore ben fatto.
QUALE TRAPANO UTILIZZARE:
Io utilizzo un vecchio trapano a 220v con funzione “bassa velocit”, il classico trapano per miscelare la pittura (trapano da imbianchino/muratore). Il consiglio quello di utilizzare una bassa velocit per non far si che la forza centrifuga eccessiva stacchi le aste e rovina la spazzola.
In 10/15 minuti ho pulito 2 piani di canna fumaria + mansarda + comignolo. E’ stato pi il tempo che ci voluto per preparare il tutto che altro…

Lo he utilizado de momento una vez para limpiar por primera vez la chimenea despus de unos cuantos aos y me ha sorprendido lo comodo que ha resultado su utilizacin. Por lo que ha cado del interior de la chimenea creo que ha realizado su cometido perfectamente, y eso que tena algo de miedo porque hay recodo en el tiro y pensaba que all habra ms problemas a la hora de trabajar y limpiar.

It definitely knocks out the built up soot in the chimney, hopefully last a few years.
Picture is first fire after cleaning, and first fire in long time not using the power venter.
This is first cleaning in 19 years on a lightly used fireplace.

Be sure to inspect everything chimney related also, as a fire inside a metal chimney is no joke.

Just finished my first chimney cleaning with this tool. It did a great job and was easy to use. I used a 5.2v A/C drill that’s rated at just over 500w (minimum 500w rating per instructions) but I’d say my battery powered drill would’ve worked. My chimney is metal. Given how much it costs to have a professional do the job, I will definitely be cleaning it myself again.
Funciona y cumple su cometido con facilidad pero alcanza unos 7,5 metros y el anuncio da a entender que llega hasta 12 metros y por eso he quitado una Estrella. Adems estara bien que vendieran varillas sueltas.
limpia el tubo de 20 cm con una facilidad pasmosa, incluso con un codo de 45 grados y otro de 90 grados.
colocas el taladro y vas colocando varillas y poco ha poco para arriba y luego ala inversa.
yo le pongo un poco de cinta aislante en los empalmes por si se suelta (que no creo que se suelte).
en resumen, muy buena compra no pensaba que funcionaria tan bien.
