My daughter loves her ‘phone’ lots of games and apps to make her feel like she has a real phone. Perfect for 5 year old.
Best thing we could’ve got for our daughter along with some headphones to go with i
My daughter loves it! Only criticism is that it will only allow you to play each game once a day!
These days kids have tablets and phones at a crazy young age and we have to be ever vigilant as to what they are looking at on them, so it’s nice to give them a distraction that is similar to a phone but you won’t have to keep looking over their shoulder. It’s a very basic device and the pictures it takes are pretty poor, but OK for little ones just to play about with. The MP3 player is adequate and great to put some of their favourite tunes on. The quality of the screen is very basic. I think this may shine a bit more if you had two of them and they could communicate between each other but obviously with only having one I wasn’t able to test that out.
Overall it’s a fun little distraction for kids of maybe 5 to 8 year olds but they soon grow bored of it and want to go back to a tablet etc. As for value for money I’d say it’s currently a lot higher than I’d recommend buying it for, but if found on offer it at be good for some little ones. Maybe good for school kids to play with on rewards time or something like that.
This is fine for younger children who want to emulate their parents with a phone etc. There is a camera and games etc to use. The screen is too small. It really does need to be larger.
It is built well enough to be chucked about a bit.
Happy with this. Small enough to go on pocket and charge lasts well. Paid 69.99 think a little over priced but it does seem well made and will last.
Whats not to like about this Vtech snap touch replica phone its great, it has games & Music, its robust and colourful and whilst the screen doesnt compare to the latest iphone its still perfect for entertaining little ones in the car. My sons loved it.
My 6 year old daughter almost fell over when she opened this up for her birthday. She enjoys playing with it and carrying it out to take pictures. The pink color is so cute and the quality of the device is very good. The texture is very comfortable and my child will not slip in her hand. The battery life is pretty good, depending on how she use it.
Overall Very light weight, easy to use for kids and there’s a music player and various games too.
This is a nice kid friendly smart phone style toy, but it does compare quite poorly against the competition. So our son always wants to play on our phones, he likes the games and the ability to watch videos on them, so I thought this would be a nice option for him that would keep him from asking for ours. So firstly this does look and feel really good, it looks like a phone from a few years ago, the only big shame in terms of the design is the size of the screen, kids now are very used to touch screens and there is no need for this screen to not be much bigger.
The phone has a lot of fun features that are presented in a nice and simple way that children can easily understand. But the big issue is that when you compare this to the other options kids have access to nowadays then this is much less exciting, our son has a hand-me-down iPad that he loves and he can do so much more on that, but if you are looking at this as an option then you can get get an older iPad second hand for similar money or the latest fire 7 tablet from amazon is cheaper than this phone at the time of writing and on those tablets you can do a lot more on a bigger clearer screen than this. The big upside to this is that you can trust that this is safe, it is from VTech and you know your child cannot accidental stumble into a scary corner of the internet using this phone.
If like my kids your kids keep taking your phone well my smallest she is 5 then this has helped a lot! She now feels like she has her own phone and it is a small screen but lots of fun for her and also a camera behind it so she keeps taking photos. Defo recommended
This is a cool toy mobile for kids. But sadly the screen is so tiny that its difficult to use it properly. Nowadays, kids have the option of having tablets. And in comparison, to a tablet, this mobile screen looks like super small. Although the shape and the features are really cool. My kid likes it anyways, because he thinks that now he can have a mobile too just like his parents. But he rarely uses it. As even he finds the screen too small.
This looks like a phone, but it’s more of a compact everything except a phone device!
It’s got a camera for photos and video – with ability to put various ‘fun’ adjustments and filters. The image quality is nothing too special, but ok for kids as a toy.
There’s a music player and various games.
Construction is where they’ve got it right, and feels nice, yet sturdy enough to handle some rough and tumble from kids.
Overall, it did keep the kids entertained (but they don’t have constant access to phone and tablets). At 70 it’s not exactly cheap, but functionality is good and it’s fun for children to use.
