Made a great gift as it is presented in a smart shiny carry case. Although son reported that the case seemed on the big side for the amount of kit inside once all packaging is removed and your trimmer is on the stand waiting for use.
That said it comes with all you need for your grooming routine!

All in all my son is very happy with this trimmer that works well and helps keep his beard looking smart and defined.
Been using this (well my husband has) for almost a month now, as wanted to give it a fair review.
It’s really easy to use, straight from the box. It comes with different trimming accessories and beard oil.
It charges up quickly in about an hour.
I usually have to trim some stray bits I’ve missed, but this is a perfect even trim all over my beard.
It holds its charge well, and I’ve used it 6+ times the last month and haven’t charged it yet. Much better battery life than my previous one.
The heads are really easy to change, no struggling or faffing.
And comes with a storage box to keep it all together including the charger. It feels nice and solid in ur hand too, not cheap and plastic feeling.
I’ve really nothing negative to say about this product – and would highly recommend it.

I am very happy with this WAHL stainless steel face and body grooming gift set, and is by far the trimmer with the best storage presentation I ever had. The trimmer arrives in an amazing mini suitcase. It feels very premium and is definitely very appealing visually, especially if you plan on getting it to gift.
Inside the premium small suitcase is the main trimming unit, a rechargeable Wahl that has a sleek design with a minimalist outlook and a single button on the upper area. The trimmer is small so it is more of a face trimming, grooming, and precision tool. The blades seemed to be sharp and able to maintain a decent precision when I used it to reduce the length and thickness of my beard.
Since it is rechargeable, this comes in very handy especially for travel situations where you want to only take the main unit and leave the charger. A single full charge is easily sufficient to keep you going for a whole month so it is suitable for short and long trips.
Along with the main unit, the gift set also packs interchangeable heads, one for general hair shaving, and the other for nose and ear. The trimmer also comes with several combs with different lengths that can be handy for beard and head shaving or shortening.
I wouldn’t advise this as a main hair shaving unit as it is quite small and it would take much time to do a full head shave. Instead, I definitely recommend it as a beard/body trimmer as it excels at that with amazing precision.
This is a really nice Wahl trimmer in stainless steel, looks sleek.
I just don’t understand the presentation.
The case it comes in is lovely, nice way to keep it, but then you open it and it’s like it’s been opened by airport security. Where’s the foam interior or some form of clips to keep everything neat and tidy?
The charging stand is a nice touch, but relatively pointless as it’s not a single unit so is just a weird stand, nice if you have somewhere to put it while it’s not in use as a charger I suppose but for me it’s just a “thing” in the box.
The trimmer itself feels great in the hand, isn’t too noisy and gives a nice trim of my beard. It feels well built and comes with the charger, cleaning brush and oil and everything you need (including some beard oil)
The guards are easy to clip on and off and the heads for ear and nose hair and the electric razor guard type one are great and easy to change out.
I’d just say there’s probably cheaper alternatives out there at the moment and at the full price of over 70 this is a little overpriced. Even at the current offer price of 59.99 I’d say it’s a little steep and they could have saved money on the case and stand and made the trimmer cheaper.
Would make a fantastic gift for somebody though, it looks lovely and more to the point looks and feels as expensive as it is.
This is a very good quality and versatile set of beard and body grooming tools, nicely presented as a gift set in a smart metal box. Wahl is a fairly well established brand known for reliable and long lasting grooming tools, and members of my family have had good use of other Wahl products in the past.
The various grooming tools come in smart metal box, which looks like something James Bond might use to carry his razor around! I was a bit disappointed when opening the box to find everything floating around loose, rather than sitting in correctly shaped spaces. Even the bottle of beard oil, a thoughtful addition, was just rolling around without a defined space, despite being fragile.
The main grooming tool charges up in an hour, and gets close to the advertised four hours of use; in my testing over three full cycles, the average battery life was between 3.5 and 4 hours – pretty good for a device of this size and power.
Most importantly, the cutting heads all work very well, whether for body grooming, beard trimming or even nose and ear hair trimming via a separate head. It is relatively easy to change the various heads over, with a bit of practice.
The proprietary charging head is potentially annoying, if it fails, simply because it may be tricky to get your hands on a replacement. One day there will be ‘one charger to rule them all’!
Overall, this is a powerful, effective and versatile set of body grooming tools, presented in a striking and stylish metal box, even if the use of space inside the box could have been better.
Firstly this is a very stylish-looking set – however, I question the plastic handle on the case which doesn’t feel as strong as I expected. Although it should be more than adequate it didn’t feel quite right on a premium product.
The balance of the shaver is very nice to hold, it’s stylish, and it makes an impressive appearing gift. In the main though, I wasn’t completely a fan of the cut – it felt inferior to others I have used. It was good, it wasn’t great.
Inside the case. there’s no storage, everything is lose. This is handy to add things in it and cuts down on waste of course.

Excellent WAHL stainless steel trimmer kit. Perfect gift for my husband. Has all the tools and attachments & does a nice neat quick job. Very easy to use & clean too. Good quality & battery life is quite decent as well. Also love the stainless steel design and tin box it comes with – great packaging. Overall would recommend.
I have been using this WAHL beard, hair and body set for a month .
It is so easy to use and the quality of the stainless steel blades is way better than the plastic ones that I was using before. It’s small enough to fit in my travel bag too which makes it really easy to travel with.
I think the price of the kit is expensive.
So as a professional barber myself I was looking for a nice pair of edging trimmers/beard trimmers to have at my home kit.
They come BEAUTIFULLY packaged in a small metal briefcase.
You get

-Detail shaving head (almost like a foiler)
-some lovely beard oil

-And a stand.
The battery is amazing! It’s last ages, you do need to charge it for a hour before first use.
It’s super quiet.
Easy to clean with the brush and oil provided. You can just pop off the head to give it a good clean inside.
Its cuts well with the attachments.
I find it gets a bit stick in the bare blade if the hair is too long or thick. But we get there eventually.
The detailer is great but hair needs to be very short for it to work.
I struggle to get a nice crisp line on longer hair, i think this is due to not have a gap between the clippers and the blade, it’s quite chunky. So I have to change the angle to which I would normally go in, I have to cut up to, as appose to going in with my line then get rid of the excess.
It’s got a slight weight to, but it’s not the end of the world
Over all a great pair of trimmers, quite expensive.
This set arrives in it’s own little aluminium flight case, I was a little dissapointed on opening it to discover everything is just loose inside and there isn’t foam inserts to hold all the components in place as the case then seems too big and a bit redundant for storing the clippers.
The clippers themselves are great quality, brushed steel casing and feel very nice and weighty for their size. The clippers come with all the usual combs and the clipper blades pop off easily and you can put on the nose/ear trimmer attachment. This too is of a higher standard than the usual ones you see and does work well.
The clippers cut well and are fairly quiet but they are fairly small so I use them for tidying up my hair after using a larger set to get the bulk of the work done. They would cut a head of hair but you might be there a while.
My only issue is that a cut my hair to a number two and with the number two attachment on this it didn’t seem to be doing much, it seems too big for some reason, never had this problem before as any number two comb always seemed to do the same job. I’ll experiment a bit more.
All in a very nice set of clippers, probably more suited to the gift market as I’d certainly be happy to receive it.
Impressively boxed gift set, that has a good selection of attachments.
It feels and looks like an expensive trimmer, with its brushed metal exterior, which always feels more durable than plastic.
Quiet operation and the attachments are easy to change.
Bit disappointing that it can’t be used in the shower or washed under a tap, which seems a bit of a backward move to be honest.
I wouldn’t pay full price but it’s on offer at just under 60 at time of review which is ok for the quality.

Already liked the brand and jumped at the chance to get this. A comprehensive kit, always good quality and the case is ideal for storage & presentation (as well as travel). I think this would make a perfect gift too. Highly recommend.
Working well so far, used twice. A large selection of attachments. Being cordless, no cord gets tangled when youre styling your own hair. I truly love this trimmer for keeping my beard and mustache short and tight and I can also trim my head hair too! It’s an outstanding trimmer and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a great trimmer.
The shaver part of the grooming set is in stainless steel, and is a seamless, welded tube, for all the engineers out there. You can just faintly see the join line if you look really hard. It looks very business-like and professional. The top and end cap are chromed plastic. The button is near the top and protected by a rubber cover. It lights up blue when the shaver is activated, but you do need to press a bit hard to get it going. The charge time looks reasonable at 4 hours, and it comes part charged. I do recommend a full charge before you use it for the first time. The stand is not quite as pictured, and it looks like it has been improved to have a small slot for the charging wire to fit through. This works well, and better than I imagine the former did. I have included a picture to show it sitting in the charging position.
The kit comes in a nice aluminium mini flight-case, with steel corners and catches, and a chrome plastic handle. There are even 4 rubber feet on the bottom. There is a card cover that carries some product details and pictures. The first impression, opening the nice-looking box, is a complete jumble. I was quite disappointed that everything was in loose packaging inside as for the price, I would have expected some kind of foam insert that keeps everything in its place and protected in transit.
I really like that Wahl have included the imperial cut sizes and inches on the hair guards. The metric measurements are also present. I have seen too many where the sizes are just metric, and I am a bit ‘old school’ when it comes to this. They are a bit narrow, but so is the trimmer. I have seen a review where it is reported that the trimmer head comes off when the guards are removed, but I can confirm that this is definitely not the case. The guards remove one way, and the trimmer attachment the other. You really can’t get this wrong, and I have shown guard and trimmer head removal in my video.
The best attachment for me is the shaver part, or stubble trimmer. This has slots for the hairs to fall into, and you can get quite close with this and reduce the hair down to shaving level. The biggest boon to me is to capture those stray hairs that my shaver just will not remove, as they always seem to dodge the shaving foil.
The nose and ear hair trimmer works, although it does not have an enclosed end cap to protect from the spinning blade, so be careful. I have another trimmer that is fully enclosed and feels far safer poking up my nose than this one. One can see that Wahl have done it this way to facilitate cleaning. I don’t really have a beard, so I can’t comment on the beard oil.
The charging port is at the bottom. I think that this could have been a USB-C as the charger is only 5V as 1.2A, well within the capacity of a phone charger. This would move it in line with the new EU regulation to help reduce electronic waste, which I think is a good idea. The shaver does carry the CE certification but not, as I write this, the UKCA. The connector is custom, and if the charger fails, the whole kit is dead. I would far rather just get another USB-C wire. A plus is that Wahl have put some thought into recycling and if after many years of service, the trimmer needs to be replaced, the whole thing comes apart with one screw at the bottom. The stainless-steel parts can be separated, and the battery also removed from the innards with a few more screws.
Also on the plus side, the kit comes with some lubricating oil for the cutters. This is not always present in some kits and is essential for ensuring that the shaver lasts a long time. There is also a cleaning brush that is a welcome addition. The trimmer, although narrow, does stand on end and so will fit well into an already crowded shelf. I will keep the trimmer out, and all the accessories rattling about in the storage case. The trimmer heads can all be cleaned in water.
On the whole, I am quite impressed with the kit and the trimmer is sleek and portable. I can see this being used for travel as it does not take up a lot of room in the suitcase, provided you leave the storage box behind. The charging time is enough that you could probably do the whole holiday without a re-charge. If Wahl had included a foil shaver, I would have easily given it five stars, but this is a well-deserved four.
Great and easy to use for trimming and haircutting. Great machine for barbering. Never lets me down during my occupation. The material is hard and good to hold. Definitely recommended.
These are beautifully presented in a nice-looking metal carrying box.
I was disappointed when I opened the box as all the contents are just loose inside. The quality look was initially ruined. I feel the components should have been foam packed. A really good shake up in transit could well damage some items.
However, all the components were individually wrapped in polythene bags, and none were damaged.
You get a good selection of combs, a detail blade and a nose hair trimmer.
The attachments all snap easily into place and are very firm and secure. That said, they are easily removed as well.
It comes with a proper mains charging cable (not a cheap USB type).
There is a small maintenance kit comprising lubricating oils and brush.
Also, there is a small bottle of beard oil for keeping your beard and skin nicely hydrated.
The clippers themselves look and feel really nice. Nice to hold and easy to turn on and off with a touch/press button.
They had no power when I got them so had to charge them over night.
In operation they are no more noisy than other similar sized beard trimmers I have owned.
Being Wahl, I didn’t expect any issues with the cutting power of these trimmers, and I was correct.
They work extremely well giving a perfect even trim with very little work and never once snagged or felt like they were being over worked.
I have very tough beard hair and it handles it without having to soap and soften the hair first.
I’ve been using it daily all week, mainly just to test the battery life, and it is still cutting as well now as it did first time. I have not re-charged it yet.
So, for me, it holds its charge well even under heavy use.
I am not really surprised. I only use Wahl hair and beard trimmers and have never had issues with any of them.
My only real niggle is the nice-looking stand that comes with it for the clippers. I feel that the fit is a bit off. Relying more on friction between the rubber inner of the stand to hold the clippers, rather than a natural fit due to the shape.
It’s a negligible issue as I personally never use stands. The clippers live in a drawer out of sight. Though these do look very nice on display.
Price-wise they may appear dear, but there are more expensive makes out there that I just wouldn’t trust.
A cheaper brand is never worth my money either. I have had cheaper brands gifted to me and bought some too and they just don’t work well.

I am a grown mature man, so would be drawing patterns on my scalp, used for beard control only.
Very useful little case, not the strongest made case, but it will doo.
Immediately added bubble wrap as the contents were loos and all over the place when arrived, not a good shipping strategy.
Wahl make very good sharp blades, but main hair shaver is Wahl and I like it it very much, strong and capable products.
I was initially wowed by how the shaver felt in my hand. The steel is cool, its weighty, but still comfortable, and does detract from the details you have to do with it. It comes with a large range of heads for varying lengths etc, and the stand is useful too. I particularly like the case, which is great to store in and not an eye sore. Cuts well, and found the information card very useful too. I have bought from this company before, they never fail to impress, with good quality shavers with long battery life and fast charging.

Therefore, keeping his body hair neat and trim is necessary for him. This set is attractively packaged in a reusable metal case which certainly does have a look he particularly likes. The case holds everything together and each attachment has its own job to do, everything is explained by Wahl to make sure the user gets full benefit from this grooming set which is expensive compared to other grooming sets, with the quality of each piece and the fact the clipper is comfortable to hold while being in total control makes this one grooming set which is high quality, good value and one set which works with ease.

Great grooming set. Case is strong and looks brilliant.
Trimmer is sharp and cuts cleanly without tugging hairs as does the nose hair cutter. Battery life seems good. Not too noisy as these things go.
I found it excellent in all aspects and well deserved the money.

As for the trimmer and the bits, the shape of the trimmer and its quality is fantastic. You wouldn’t accept any less from WAHL anyway, but it does stand up for the name.
It got tested in an intimate area and worked fantastically.
I wouldn’t like the head any bigger, it would make the job difficult and even “dangerous”
The only thing you might want to be careful with is that is not waterproof. Only the trimmer blade is washable for easier cleaning.
Actually a very decent set if you want an easy all in one option that is good for both facial hair as well as for tidying up your bits and pieces as the good range of heads make it very good fro some man scaping of intimate areas as well as beard and stubble. Really solid build with the kind of quality you expect from Whal and 100% happy with i so would recommend.
This item arrived well-packed and was in a nice presentation gift box. Inside the box was the main trimmer with the different head attachments, along with the charger, cleaning brush as well as a small bottle of beard oil.
This product really looks and feels premium as the main trimmer is made of high-quality stainless steel with a good weight to it. It also uses high precision blade grinding technology to ensure best cutting performance.
Operating it was pretty straightforward and I didn’t even need to read the enclosed instructions. It was just a case of choosing the right head attachment (depending on how much hair you want to trim on your body parts) and trim away you go! It was very easy to use and it just glided smoothly and did not pull any hair out or cause any irritations.
Overall, a top of the range hair trimmer that is rechargeable and portable enough to take with you anywhere. Highly recommended!

I like this device, though the moment i received it I would hold it and it would rattle inside, I eventually disassembled it and found that the battery was doing the ratteling, so I got some blu tac and held it tight, that is the only complaint.
Otherwise its a good high quality device, I wish it came with other heads like a shaver or nose/ear trimmer etc. because Wahl have those on similar models but you cannot buy them separately.

My barber recommended I buy this kit as I needed something to trim my beard etc. It’s far more comprehensive than the kits sold in the supermarkets but is roughly double the price.
My only issue has been that the zip on the supplied kit bag broke so that went straight in the bin.
Had a Wahl before and it lasted years but gave up the ghost. This is far better so easy to use
I was looking for a trimmer for both beard and hair. Eveb though this wasn’t marketed as a hair trimmer i liked the fact that it had many attachments when compared to the multi groomer (great for amateur barber looking for gradients) so i took the plunge with this and i was not disappointed. Small but big enough to hold comfortably, and very well made. With a close shave of 2.5mm this is a big step up compared to my previous Wahl trimmer of 5mm. About as close a trim you can get without shaving. All in all a very good trimmer for beard and hair.
