I recently purchased the Waterpik Cordless Plus Water Flosser with 2 Pressure Settings after my dental hygienist it has been an absolute game-changer for my dental hygiene routine! This nifty device has quickly become an essential part of my daily life, and I can’t imagine going without it.
First and foremost, the cordless design is incredibly convenient, making it perfect for travel or small bathrooms. The rechargeable battery ensures that I never have to worry about running out of power, even during extended trips. It’s a true lifesaver for maintaining my oral health while on the go.
But what truly sets this Waterpik apart is its exceptional performance. The two pressure settings allow for a customized and comfortable experience. Whether you prefer a gentle massage for your gums or a more powerful clean, this flosser has you covered. It effectively removes dental plaque and debris, leaving my mouth feeling refreshingly clean and my gums healthier than ever.
The water reservoir is a decent size, providing enough capacity for a thorough flossing session without constant refills. The included tips are easy to swap out, and the device is remarkably easy to clean.
One of my favorite features is the built-in timer, which encourages me to floss for the recommended two minutes. It’s a small but effective touch that ensures I’m giving my teeth and gums the attention they deserve.
I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my oral health since using this Waterpik. My dentist even commended me on the positive changes during my last visit. This product has truly transformed my dental care routine, making it more effective and enjoyable.
In summary, the Waterpik Cordless Plus Water Flosser is worth every penny. Its portability, powerful performance, and user-friendly features make it an exceptional addition to any dental care regimen. Say goodbye to traditional floss and hello to a cleaner, healthier smile with this fantastic tool. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to step up their oral hygiene game!
Great that it comes with so many attachments and battery does last a while even on high speed setting. Usually have to refill the water though halfway through which can be a bit annoying. Definitely recommend for people with fixed retainers or braces.
The Waterpik Cordless Plus Water Flosser offers an effective and convenient way to maintain oral hygiene. Its cordless design makes it easy to use anywhere, and the water flossing technology provides a thorough clean between teeth and along the gumline. With adjustable water pressure settings, it’s suitable for different sensitivities. Overall, a valuable addition to your dental care routine for a healthier mouth.
I have very narrow gaps between my teeth and struggle with flossing. I’ve used the waterpik for a while, and although I know it’s not as good as flossing it’s been good for reducing my gum disease. Can be a little messy, but that’s expected.
I have wisdom teeth breaking through which are otherwise nearly impossible to clean, this helped so much.
As other reviews mentioned there is not charging indicator which is an oversight, I didn’t think it would matter until I had one.
I hate flossing. I love this. It takes a couple of tries to get used to it but then it is really easy to use. You can adjust the strength and I recommend keeping it low until you are used to it. I know some people have stated that they have to refill the water and I do too but it’s honestly not an issue since I’m standing over a sink anyway.
I bought this from the recommendation from my dentist, it’s really easy to use, a bit messy like some people say, but if you lean over the sink, it’s not a problem, I find it better with tepid wate
My parents brought 1 of these and I loved it so much I got my own. It has 2 power setting and easy removable heads. Get right in-between teeth to remove and I love the tong cleaner. Charges up easy and quite quickly.
This item has a variety of heads which are easy to use. I bought this with the intention to reduce my plaque around my teeth, but was advised by my dentist that electric ones are good for removing food debris and I should still continue to use interdental brushes. Well……every dentist has different views.
Good for removing food, can’t see any excess build up if plaque as yet so it must be helping.
Cleaning..you can wash the water holder by hand with vinegar ( as advised gived in instruction manual, or put it in the dishwasher).
Would definitely recommend.
Its strong enough to use. 2 speeds.
But down Point is no silicon cover for charging/plug in hole so it take time and difficult to clean water in it before i plug in
I’m not talking about water tank
No light for low battery or charging
I asked question in Q&A but people seems to think I’m talking about have some water in water tank because I can’t post a photo there so have to write review to add photo but it saying not supported file
The flosser works well and holds charge for a long time. I like the various heads so I can adapt to my current needs too. Only thing is the water tank has a design flaw – it doesn’t fully empty by use and you can’t fully empty it manually eithe
My dentist highly recommended that I got one of these and I have to say it is far easier to use than the equivalent Philips one that is just too large for my mouth.
Only issue is (and perhaps it is my fault through lack of use / knowledge of such products) on the one hand you need to keep your lips tightly closed to stop the squirts of liquid dribbling out over your chin but on the other hand you need your mouth slightly open so that it does not fill up with the warm liquid.
It is quite a messy process but I guess as long as it does help protect your teeth and dental hygiene it is worth it.
Luv this water flosser. Delivered on time and very quick. Very pleased all round
This is one of those kind of things that if you have never used one before, you will need to work out how it works best for you and takes some getting used to as well. This is a handheld and supposedly more portable and convenient version of a water flosser (or water pick), it is an all in one item with a small water chamber fitted containing up to about 200ml of water which is easy to remove and fill.
The unit arrived already charged so was able to use it straight away, it is fully rechargeable using the supplied mains cable (not usb). The power input socket is located underneath the power and setting buttons but has no seal which i don’t like. Personally i don’t think this is well located as water will go down the front of the unit and could potentially leak into the socket but with careful use the tip is rotatable so you can face the controls and socket to the back when using instead.
The water flosser is surprisingly powerful, there are only 2 settings (just high or low). It comes with an assortment of attachments which are easy to fit and remove. I used the fine tip only with the normal setting and could really feel the power of each shot of water. This does fire out water very quickly and found it challenging to use at first, not have water pouring out of my mouth and also not hit the back of the throat, which actually really stings. The chamber has enough water to work one cycle of just under a minute which is enough, a full charge of the unit lasts a couple of weeks before recharging too.
These are pretty effective once you get to grips with them, they are good for cleaning and rinsing those tight and hard to reach areas and you do feel like you get a good interdental clean but i still don’t think it quite replaces dental floss which i still use as well. Currently on offer at just under 40 (at the time of review), they don’t work out for everyone but it is something that does need time to get used to. For me it is a nice to have item to add to my dental hygiene routine.
This is my third purchase since 2015 of this amazing model. At one point I purchased a cheaper water flosser from a different company, the quality & water pressure were abysmal & so It was returned.
I keep coming back to this model as it’s great for many reasons, such as, taking on vacation. I also love the pressure on this model, especially when used with the brush tool.
Once charged fully it will last over 2 wks.
I read one comment where someone stated they use it a cpl of times a week.
My responce is, it’s not a special product that should only come out on special days, my orthodontist & jaw surgeon stated it needs to be used twice everyday, prior to brushing with an electric toothbrush morning & evening.
If this flossing device had been around when my kids were little, they would have definitely grown up using it.
Finally…
Using a WaterPick Flosser daily has totally eradicated my gum disease, from 2015 it took only a period of six months.
Great product. You will not be disappointed.
I do love a spot of jet washing. It’s so satisfying. Now I get to spruce up between my gnashes and stop battling with dental tape or dental floss flossing (which I hate doing) . I’ve bought extra tips to use including the toothbrush and tongue cleaner tips. My one complaint would be that the water tank could be with being more generously sized. I can never get round with a single fill. I like to jet from both sides. I do offer a couple of tips: don’t be tempted to fill with cold water. And for the best feeling ever add some mouthwash to the water in your reservoir !
It’s brilliant for getting rid of deposits between the teeth and kind and gentle to the gums .
Wish I’d bought one years ago
Only had a few days. Definitely use luke warm water. Also I am still learning but get water everywhere. My teeth do feel really clean , but the water runs out too quickly . I only get half the teeth done. Maybe I need to change my technique , but can’t see how you can use it as instructed on one fill .
Pretty basic, but it works fine. A bit on the bulky side, but the price is fair.
This was a bargain and 10 cheaper than it was in boots. It’ll be great to use when travelling. It’s easy to set up and use. It doesn’t seem as powerful as the one you plug into the mains but having the flexibility to take it anywhere is worth it.. love the colour too.
I was a bit unsure about how good this would be as I am a keen regular flosser, however, having used it for over a week now, and checked my teeth and gums after with floss, I can say that it definitely does what it is supposed to do. Nothing left for me to remove with floss! It is a bit fiddly to get used to and it did make a mess the first few times, but I quickly got the hang of it and can manage it without soaking either the bathroom or myself now. My only concern is that it is difficult to clean the water from inside each time. I give it a good shake out and then put a clean tissue inside the water tank to try to soak up the damp. I’m worried about those typical black formations that develop when something is left damp or with water still inside. It does need filling during use but I use that as my timer to move on to a different section of my teeth. In all, I refill 8 times, 4 for the outside of my teeth and 4 for the inside. It doesn’t take long and the end result is really fresh and clean mouth and teeth. I am really happy with it and very glad I bought it.
When I started looking at waterpiks, for my wife, the price was large, on every single one. Given that she has an expensive sonic toothbrush, I thought I’d leave it. Then Amazon recommended this one, in my daily round-up, so I took a chance, on a special offer, and boy, it’s more than worth it. She loves it, and my stock has risen, for seeking something like this – mentioned once in passing – out for her.
It’s not the best battery life, but more than enough to do several days, and the tank is sufficient to clean her teeth to her exacting standards, every day.
Wonderful value, great service, and a bloody good product, highly recommended, by my darling wife!
Everything good but you need to lean over a sink as its messy to use…
I purchased this as it seemed a decent price for a branded water flosser. So far it has been fine. You get 4 different heads and an actual UK charger so you don’t have to mess about with adapters. It does the job of getting rid of pieces of food. I water floss first then regular floss.
The downsides are it doesn’t have a charging light or anything to tell you when the battery is low. The tank can’t be opened fully to clean it. You can only get water through the small hole. (Unless I’m missing something and it can be fully opened to clean inside?) It has only 2 speed settings whereas my non branded has 3. I had it 8th December and charged it for 24 hours as recommended and then charged it 26th December as I could feel it slowing, you do the Maths whether that is good or not…
Overall a decent buy but don’t expect all the bells and whistles of a much more expensive one. Colour is nice too as it matches my iO toothbrush.
