It is a good dartboard. But I am always thinking that the Blade 6, at a much lower price, probably does the trick if your purpose is to use it for practice.
Slightly cheaper than the three core – this dual core should have done the job given we only play a couple of times a week. at least twice the price of other boards, I expected it last. 8 months in and its like its dried out – bounce outs are very frequent and the board is basically unusable. This after using a cheap unicorn that lasted nearly two years. Three core may be better, but dont waste your money on all the hype about it board technology. Get yourself a board for half the price and will probably last longer.
So sollte aus meiner Sicht eine klassische Dartscheibe sein. Gute Qualitt, stabil, einfach anzubringen (Dbel fehlten allerdings). Fr einen Anfnger wie mich absolut ausreichend.
Not sure you can get better. Really happy and I play a lot of darts in pubs.
Sehr gut verarbeitet und hat auch den Sommer auf der Terrasse berlebt (war auch vor Regen geschtzt). In meiner Scheibe waren keine Lcher oder gar Farbfehler. Bouncer sind sehr selten, was bei meinen bisherigen Scheiben anders war.
Despite losing both times I’ve used it is a really good board!
Winmau Blades are the perfect boards.
The Blade 6 has a vastly improved double-bull wire compared to the 5.
I have not used a triple core but the double core hits the spot for quality v price for me.
Bought to replace an old used board that had been given to us when our boys were younger, now they are both in late teens and we are by no means a professional dart playing family but enjoy throwing a few darts on an evening as a fun social get together. This board is brilliant, we play with steel tips and it holds the darts well, was easy to put up (we have hung on a door in converted garage to utility room with double thickness cardboard as a backing ! – saving up for a surround), it has three adjustable levellers on the reverse which used in conjunction with a spirit level means you can set the face of the board correctly. A paced out piece of masking tape on the floor and we were good to go in less than half an hour. Great quality board same as the professionals and value for money.
This looks to be a good board and has certainly reduced the number of darts bouncing out. My only issue is that the triple-core version went on sale two days after I bought this one – for almost the same price! Thanks Amazon!
Arrived a day late but I was notified of this on Amazon. Sturdy and solidly made. Simple fitting instructions to follow.
So I bought a Unicorn Striker last year which did not respect my arrows leading to a lot of bounce outs. Got this one and after a few days of games with my friends we have not seen a single one! The quality of the board is excellent and the arrows now stick as glue. Did not experience any of the issue other reviews have pointed out so hopefully Winmau has solved this.

came quick but the box was ruined and not in good condition so it’s a shame as i wanted to get it for a birthday gifts.
It’s not been used yet as its an Xmas gift! It looks great, sure it’ll be fine though, I’m pretty clued up on Dart boards these days!!!
