Good product and great value for money. Cameras work perfect inside and outdoor.
This is an advance CCTV system with 1TB built in storage, basic setup is plug and play and it will continuously record and tag any motion detection and face detection. All 4 cameras will need to have DC power via the included power adaptor and video and audio is connected wirelessly to the base unit.
The base unit is a 10″ tablet, nice and bright display with all the connection on the side, a wireless mouse is included to control the interface as it is not a touch screen. It has a wide viewing angle so having it on the edge of my table I can still see all my camera clearly.
The 4 cameras are identical which can be mounted on the celling or wall with 3 screws, orientation of the video feed can be rotated or flipped via control at the base station. The spot light is nice and bright and the motion sensors are accurate with range up to 5-10 meters. Each camera can be set to have spot light/black and white mode, with spot light the video will be in colour even at night time. For area where you do not want to have spot light going off eg near room window you can have that option switched off.
Overall the video is clear to view on the tablet or on my phone, by defult the camera encoding is 1080p and not 2k. I managed to get a firmware update which allows me to update the camera and unlock the function to set encoding to 3M which results in 2k res. It does require a FAT32 USB drive containing the firmware plugged into the base station, the process only takes a few minutes.
I had one camera in the garden as far as 25m from the base station with 1 wall in between, video and audio feed still good and I can view footage on my phone. The camera is made with plastic casing and the mount and joint are all plastic, I would not recommend installing this in direct sun or rain to prolong the life of the cameras.
Overall a very good system and simple to install and get started, advance settings available but will require expert knowledge of CCTV system to operate.
