Blew over in a light breeze whilst assembling and the pole snapped. Gutted as it was for a special garden party.
Don’t know how waterproof it is hasn’t raind, but very easy to assemble and nice and sturdy.
I’m not a gazebo expert who is? But i am an engineer and from an engineering point of view, i found the expanding main frame quite impressive and substantial.
It’s heavy at around 20Kg and really needs two people to erect. You get weight bags for the legs, people use 4 or 6 pint milk containers filled with water i think, also stakes for the feet and guy ropes, i didn’t need any of those as it was a flat calm day when i tried it.
Was perfect as a sun shelter, it didn’t rain so hard to comment on it’s waterproofness.
You get a zip up storage case with wheels to keep all the bits tidy and together. Keep the long thin plastic bags the covers are supplied in, they will help you get them back in the case.
I’m not convinced the case will last as it doesn’t seem sturdy enough for the heavy frame within, but wouldn’t be a disaster if you ditched it.
Overall, i’m happy with this gazebo.
I found this gazebo easy to assemble. As described, there are two panels that make up the four sides.
It wasn’t raining or windy when I had this up, so unable to comment on performance in these situations.
I used the Outdoor Pop Up Gazebo to entertain my special friends at a BBQ gathering – it was a well selected and organised BBQ event held in my well-manicured garden. All guests enjoyed the BBQ event.
It’s easy to assemble which took two people but I managed to take it all down on my own and was easy to do, the frame itself I found strong but the taller it gets the lighter it became structurally but it also comes with floor hooks and what looks like sand bags and rope to keep it from flying off if the wind catches but found only really needed the hooks also it comes in three parts the roof and two side panels that zip together, it can be made really tall and is very spacious like a big house and feels grand to be in.
Great gazebo!
Easy to use and very qualitative!
Recommended it!
This is a perfect match for my garden, because i have no shade at all. This is easy install for two people. But make sure you ground it very well because its an easy take for the wind.i like the color of the material as well i hope it doesn’t fade in time which didn’t happened yet.Overall i like it and i do recommend it.
Well packaged and it was very easy to put it together, just pull the legs apart and the canopy opens , very happy with the purchase!
This is really easy to pop up. Easier with two people however. Just pull the legs apart and the canopy frame opens up, lock it in place. Place the cover over the top then extend the legs. Clip the canopy down and secure it with the supplied ties and ground stakes if necessary or you may need to purchase some gazebo sand bags for each leg.
It is sturdy and feels solid and well made. Just be aware that there are no sides so it won’t offer protection from rain or wind from the side.
This gazebo comes in a carry bag which is quite a tight fit. It also has 4 guy ropes and 8 pegs. The frame is quite stiff to put up for the first time and it is easier to set up with two people. The canopy is the placed over the top. The framework is strong and sturdy. Unfortunately the canopy is not as well made as the frame. There is nothing to hold the canopy at the corners there are just two strips of velcro sewn onto each of the sides. The stitching and re-enforced patches pull when the velcro is attached to the frame. The cover also attaches to the bottom of each leg with a little hook. When closing the gazebo there is nothing to hold the cover in place and it just rucks up. It is a shame that there is nothing to hold the cover in each corner. A good gazebo for 90 at the time of this review, but only 4 stars due to the stitching and velcro attachments.
