We now have two of these and find them very handy when needing an extra bit of heat. We had an issue with our boiler and we really needed these! They heat the room well and are easy to set up and use.
The first one I received had a noisy fan which only lasted 4 days before breaking. I contacted the (friendly) seller who arranged collection even though I had thrown away the packaging and delivered a new one. The replacement works perfectly. I previously used a convector heater for warming the room overall and a fan heater for low level heat. This heater performs both functions very well. Looks good too. Very happy with both item and seller.
Good little heater. Heats up the space quickly. Happy with the purchase.
With the month of March just around the corner, it is time to think about returning to the caravan. Although it has its own heating we can not wait to set up this convection heater once more as it quickly boosts the temperature and brings it up to warm and toasty.
I particularly like the slim design and ease of manoeuvrability.
Different settings and a powerful introduction of warmth and that comfortable feeling.
Ease of storage makes this an ideal additional heat source and looks the part.
Certainly warmed the room up when heating wasn’t working, nice desk fun & easy to use, would recommend. Good value
This heater has been designed with good aesthetics where it would fit well in most rooms without looking too out of place. The screen display is clear and can be seen from a distance which is necessary as the remote doesn’t have an LCD.
The casing is metal and fairly light as there is pretty much nothing inside. The heating grill is located on the bottom and this rises up through the top while also heating the side panels which allows heat distribution through conduction. The remote can fit nicely into a holder on the side of this device which prevents it being misplaced.
The heater has a timer function and different heat outputs which can be changed all from the remote. The display is a a bit small for seeing which heat output setting you have chosen and can be hard to see from a distance. The fan setting is great especially as it is optional and so if the room becomes too dry you can get heat output without it. Also in need of a quick heat up – turning on the fan will accelerate it. The air comes out the front grills and the top. The fan is fairly quiet and cannot be heard in the next room. You will hear it however but mine is quiet enough to sleep through – although randomly the fan housing will start rattling for a minute and then die down.
After testing the master bedroom in my house heated up within 10 minutes and that wasn’t even the highest setting (the temperature can be selected on the remote and the thermostat will reduce heat depending on the current temperature.
As a nice addition you can change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit depending on which you are used to.
Very well thought out heater however I think it is slightly expensive for what you are given.
I have this in my caravan, as the heater in there is not the best. This thing really works well getting the caravan up to temperature quickly,, once it’s there then I use the normal heating. But this heater takes half the time. VEry pleased
I’m really please with this heater. You could spend a fortune in the newest dyson to get the same heat output as this one.
The fan function is a great way to distribute the heat it generates and the digital display makes it easy to understand what setting your on and to accurately control the heat.
It’s neat, tidy and very easy to use. We’ve been using it in an office environment and it’s worked perfectly.
I got this convection heater mainly for use in my dining room, which is a bit of a cold spot in my house during the winter months. It has fitted the bill nicely and kicks out a fair bit of heat, warming the room in minutes. It’s a bit on the noisy side on the higher settings, but I imagine this would do a good job in a conservatory or similar.
There were no instructions in the box, but the controls are pretty simple. The only assembly needed is to screw on the two feet parts and it’s good to go. A small remote is included, but it does not come with a battery – a little surprising in this day and age.
In summary, this is an effective heater that is easily portable around the house and simple to control. It’s probably not the most economical thing to run, but as long as you use it in moderation, it does the job nicely.
Zanussi makes a range of white goods electrical products, From fridges to cookers and washing machines. I guess they fall into that middling category of decent products which are value for money. This white convection heater falls into that category. Its simple, well made and does what it says on the tin. Offers a decent heat output with added features such as 3 heat settings, digital display, auto cut off if its knocked over etc etc.
Although electric fires are not that cheap to run, this would be ideal if you just want to quickly take the chill off a bedroom or keep it on low to maintain heat while you are out at work etc.
Not a bad price for a decent heater.
The feet were easy to attach in minutes – they must be attached to the heater before use. The remote control needs a CR2032 battery (not supplied) and you need good light to see the battery instructions on the remote control case. The battery compartment was a bit awkward to slide out (press a plastic bit to the side and pull at the same time).
The heater is quite light and looks smart and it’s handy to have a remote control. I liked the little storage slot for the remote on the side of the heater and the safety cut out if it gets knocked over or overheats. The frost setting is useful and there are 3 other heat settings and a LCD display that shows you the temperature in the room and the target temperature (whatever you set it at).
Due to the expense of running an electric heater generally, I will probably mainly use the frost setting for indoor plants or have it as a handy standby heater.
An excellent heater, which provides warmth in the coldest of rooms. It stands on its own, is lightweight and easy to move from room to room and unlike other heaters, isn’t terribly hideous. It has a display to see what setting it’s on and the temperature of the room. It’s easy to use, effective and reasonably priced for what you get- there’s nothing not to like
The Zanussi ZCVH4002 Heater is a smart good-looking heater that looks good in any room. The sleek design in white does not take up much room either and its portability makes it a really useful ADDITIONAL supply of heat.
Now I stress the word additional. This heater does eat up the power and is expensive to use BUT it really does heat up a room and keep you cozy.
The beauty of the design is that instead of heating up the whole house you can just heat the room you are using.
So if it is a living room or a bedroom and the like it really is a winner.
Now a friend of mine uses one in her bedroom. She switches the remote control on and after ten minutes or so she gets up to a warm and cozy room.
This heater is very portable and you can move it room to room easily.
To be honest I found that the heater is best use at maximum output and this is a little noisy.
I can live with that I’d rather suffer a bit of noise rather than suffer the cold.
There you have it.
An excellent room heater- you can read all the safety functions and specs yourself.
Safe and Effective.
My mother in law had an older heater which recently broke down and this was exactly what was needed. She’s in a big old house but doesn’t use most of the rooms (and it costs so much to heat it all with oil if you’re not using it).
This a small very portable heater with adjustable output settings and she’s found it very easy to operate. It allows her to top up her heat during the day and works exactly as expected. A nice heater and very reasonably priced.
This is an efficient heater which not only heats quickly but is sturdy, stands firmly and is very unlikely to be knocked over. Returning after a weekend away I found it heated a very cold room extremely quickly. It switches off when the room reaches the temperature which you choose and set for yourself – an unusual feature I had not come across before. Although we have central heating this is a useful heater for anyone who wishes to heat one room in the house quickly in a short period without messing about with turning radiators on and off in other rooms and changing the clock on the main heating .
Love this heater. The only thing you have to do before turning on and having instant heat is attach the feet with 2 little screws ( each foot) that are provided. We live in probably one of few homes without central heating,so we use heaters in the bedrooms and this was ordered to replace an old heater. This heater warms up so fast and the optional fan function spreads heat to warm cold rooms quickly. The temperature is very simple to set using up and down arrows on control panel or remote, you can also set a timer to turn the heater off after certain length of time,The thermostat will turn heater off when desired temperature is reached and back on when temperature falls again. The remote works great easy to turn heater on whilst still in bed and 5min later get out of bed in warm room. The heater is slim line and a lot smaller than my last heater it has modern clean lines a look that fits into any room not taking up too much space or looking out of place.I really can find no fault with this heater at all and am delighted to have opportunity to test it.Warms room quickly
We have central heating throughout the house but will use this to heat the conversatory.
I’ve seen quite a few similar heaters on sale at various supermarkets but this Zanussi heater is somewhat more powerful at 2.3kW (whereas most of the other ones I’ve seen at 2.0kW).
This Zanussi also has a few extra features which make it a superior heater:
* There are two buttons for heat, providing 1.0kw and 1.3kW of power. Turn either on or turn both on to generate 2.3kW of power.
* The display allows you to set the thermostat very easily.
* There is an easy-to-understand remote control if you don’t want to have to get up to go over to the heater. There is also a slot on one side for tucking the remote control.
* There is a frost function which I doubt I will ever use. However, I could imagine this being useful in my mother’s conservatory where she has a lot of plants. Being able to keep the temperature just above freezing would be good for anyone with a lot of plants – or perhaps if you’re worried about pipes freezing and possibly bursting.
Overall, this is a lightweight but powerful heater with a few additional features and functions which make it stand out from some of the cheaper competitors.
A review for Zanussi ZCVH4002 Heater, 2300 W, White.
A compact low profile and stylish electric heater. The feet on the base provide stable free standing, allowing convenient placement anywhere anywhere in a room. Two recessed handles allow easy and safe movement if the heater even when in use. The heater features clear LCD display showing ambient temp as well as your desired heat setting. Control of the heater is either via the buttons around the display or via the provided remote control. The heater does provide auto shutoff, shutting off the heater in case it gets knocked over. The heater has three heat settings: 1000W, 1300W, 2300W with rapid heating and circulation for quicker heating up of a cold room. There is also a fan function useful for simply circulating air around a room on a warm day. Overall an ideal adhoc heater, where other forms of heating are impractical, with an added fan circulation allows this to be utilised year round. Well priced, my only slight reservation is the powerful heating element consumes a lot of power which is uneconomical to run for too long periods
Couldn’t wait for this to arrive.
keeps shower room toasty warm; luckily can just lift n carry it into lounge when we need to use wetroom ASA wetroom.
Actually! I’v noticed that having this rad on 24/7…1.3KW is keeping the whole house toasty, so prevents the main electric boiler (13KW) kicking in all the time; so infact this is saving on the electric [heating] bills.
Might invest in getting another one to keep in bathroom upstairs.
Arrived via DPD, packaged well.
Happy with size, length is longer than expected., cable could be slightly longer tho…so might need extension cable; ((((I only will use one plug at anyone given time when using extension lead)))
It’s light to carry, also there’s handy grooves ither side of radiator so be able carry it easier., even when still hot.
Zanussi is good make, decades ago I wouldn’t have any other products made by other manufacturers; I d only have Zanussi.
Before using, have to fit the two feet., screws supplied….easy peaszy, required a Philips screwdriver
Remote hasn’t a battery, so needs a CR2032 __
Have to ensure side [red] switch is on
Theres a useful LCD display on front panal., so don’t need to use remote if haven’t any battery
Choose either F or C temperature.
4 power settings: 1000W, 1.300W, 2300W n *frost
Warms up quite quickly, esp when using the fan., but fans noisey, so don’t want to use it when quiet is required….but it’s very quiet when not using fan.
Thermostat is between 5c – 37C (41F – 99F)and will toogle off n on again when temperatures reached/drops
The radiator comes with 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, offering a 2nd year when you guarantee the appliance online within 28dys of purchase.
An excellent purchase for an extremely well made, sturdy plug-in electric radiator., which is a much needed heater unit ready for these freezing cold months ahead., esp for houses with no central-heating.
A fantastic little heater which sits nicely in my living room. Perfect if you don’t want the house central heating on. Nice LCD display and comes with a handy little remote too. Not too heavy either, so can be shifted where you need it.
