I am not sure why but the lights switch off automatically after less than 2 hours and they are in the sun charging all day. Even after they turn off we turn on the switch again but it doesn’t last long. We are in Africa so the sunlight is direct and plentiful…
I increased the rating to 4 stars because of the customer service, that proposed a full refund and processed it in very short time despite my inability to send back the items from Tanzania.
I will try again and maybe be luckier in the future!
This set of garden lights are absolutely beautiful once the sun goes down and give a nice bright flickering flame effect and you get a set of 8 in this pack and charge up in daytime with solar panels and are super easy to set up straight out the box, I don’t have any photos to post as i bought them as a birthday present for my sister but she has gave them a big thumbs up.
I placed these lights in the ground and they wouldn’t work, the box did not say to open the top off completely to switch on with a little button. Thankfully the pictures on this sale page demonstrated how to proceed. I am delighted with them.
These were attractive solar lights. Rather than put them in the ground, I have positioned them in tall plant troughs situated at the front of my house. It looks really pretty when they are all lit up at night. They were easy to put together and they came on even on dull days when there was not a huge amount of sunshine. I have reduced my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars as one of the 8 lights does not work and has never worked since I received the pack. I could not be bothered with the hassle of pulling them out and returning them although if more than one had been faulty I would have done so. Shame, as otherwise I would have awarded a full 5 stars.
I saw these lights on a gardening page, they come in packs of different amounts, I chose the 8 pack. They’re quite long which I like and have a lovely glow at night, I highly recommend.

All of the lights worked and charged quickly in the lovely sunshine we had yesterday. They create a reddy warm glow which looks lovely. As other reviewers have noted, the kights are nit bright so if you are looking for this aspect, these lights may not be for you. My garden looks very pretty with them. Do be aware that if purchasing as a gift, the light’s arrived in the suppliers box i.e not in an amazon plain box.
