Accurist 7329 Mens Blue Watch
Accurist 7329 Mens Blue Watch
Our Story
The 1940s was a decade unlike any other, seeing exciting developments in both science and technology and was a truly revolutionary time. Many famous brands were born in this period including the true British watch brand; Accurist. Asher and Rebecca Loftus founded the brand in London in 1946. They were determined to create a brand with lasting value to stand out from the crowd. The pair produced a new range of watches which combined value with unrivalled quality at the time. Accurist was originally based on St. John Street in Clerkenwell, one of London’s most stylish districts, known for being a fashionable area of the capital and dating back to medieval times. Over 70 years later, this treasured history and British heritage continues to be a vital element of the brand. Accurist offers a high quality range of women’s and men’s watches with a rich tradition of British craftsmanship and innovation that withstand time.

This watch is great, proper designer good price looks gorgeous
Very happy with the watch, look and feel like good quality. Definitely looks elegant and expensive. I think my hubby will be happy with this gift@watch too 🙂
The only thing I am unhappy with is the watch was already running when I opened the package so I am quite concerned how long the battery would last. But for the brand quality and price, I am very satistified and would recommend.
I am well pleased with this solidly made watch. However, I had the same experience as another reviewer who reported that the battery died after only 4 months. The watch was running when I received it, so I assume that hid been active whilst in stock. I replaced the battery easily, but I am no longer confident that it is 100m water resistant.
Date window is rather small.
Recommended.
For the price I paid, this was brilliant value for money. Everything a basic watch should be, and it doesn’t look or feel cheap. Indeed, it is quite heavy. The Cal.2115 Japanese movement is accurate, and the watch face is Sapphire Crystal. Unless one wants to flash a designer or top-league brand with tiny chronometer dials all over the place, this does it all!
A well made watch that is great for the price. I need a waterproof watch and something that’s pretty much bomb proof for fishing and the great outdoors. This watch certainly fits the bill!
Bought this watch as a late Christmas present to myself & am very pleased. As a ‘larger gent’ I’ve often had to apply to watch manufacturers for extra links for the bracelet, not so in this case. The watch & bracelet have a heavier feel & is a perfect fit, it just looks amazing, my only negative is, as someone has already noted, the date window is quite small & difficult to read. If you know the date then it’s all good!! All in all a great value for money watch which I would definitely recommend
Lovely watch with a larger wristband than normal accurist watches quite weighty and feels well made
Excellent glass.
Used for a month and no scratches on glass.
And i wear it fishing so definately water proof
i would recommend this watch
Really nice and Classy looking watch that feels and looks a lot more expensive than it was. Always gets compliments. Only slight negative is the date is very small compared to the large watch face and hard to read.
I have other Accurist watches so comparisons are inevitable. This particular watch is the heaviest of the four/five I have and the bracelet/wrist band is also larger than the others. I would suggest that this watch, therefore, is better suited to the man who has thicker arms and wants to feel their watch when wearing it.
It is well made, as you would expect from the brand. The face and hands are very clear and easy to read and it is easy to set up and/or adjust.
A very nice watch for the ‘larger’ man.
In the best meaning of term, this is a classic style old-fashioned man’s watch. It’s has a reassuring weight, is solidly constructed, with a stainless steel wristband, and it has a simple attractive face that is easy to read. No fuss, no complications, no chronometers just a good watch for telling the time, with a date function.
The best thing about it however is the quality. It feels like a solid watch and it looks good. The face is a deep blue with a little bit of a sheen, but not too reflective, and the silver hands stand out clearly against it. The glass is apparently scratch resistant sapphire glass, which is not just tough, it has lovely clarity. The Japanese Quartz also ensures excellent timekeeping.
The packaging is a hefty cube that is as solidly made as the watch, protective and nice for gifting.
This Accurist watch is stainless steel and is rather weighty — not a bad thing for those who like a little more mass to their wristwatch. Perhaps I have slender wrists but the strap is too large — but these are easily adjusted through a watchsmith, or Accurist do include the option to have it sent to them for strap adjustment — though remote adjustment seems a little hit and miss to me. However, better too large (and have links removed) than two small. The clasp mechanism seems robust. I like the blue watch face a lot, making the watch look classy, though the silver of the case/strap is a brighter style than I normally would wear, it does make this a watch for a different mood, rather than the black watches I primarily have.
