Easy to use (with or with downloading the app on your phone) does exactly as advertised. It’s that good I’ve ordered one for my elderly mum. Honestly if you want a straightforward easy to use good value product without being a tach whizz this is for you
Working well now that I managed to bind it to an app, the app advised with the instructions would not bind at all with it and the one I found did so right away. The working app had the same logo, there was just one letter difference in the name. Other than that the watch and app are working fine.
There are pluses and minuses with this fitness tracker. Firstly it connects much quicker than I was expecting to my phone and I didn’t have to chose individually chose which social networks to connect to, that bit was hassle free. I did have to go into the app on my phone to take off certain social networks that I didn’t need to receive notifications. It was more important to see when I had a phone call coming in when I was not next to my phone, since I don’t carry it round the house with me.
I like the fact there’s a little bar under the screen which you tap to see the various bits of information like taking heartbeats, blood pressure etc., however I haven’t checked out how accurate they are yet. The battery has been a little disappointing as I only got five days out of it, which isn’t as long as my Amazon fitness device (the only reason I bought another fitness watch was my Amazon one stopped connecting to my phone when I updated my phone).
First syncing was a bit of a nightmare, but there are two apps to choose from, and one works better than the other. Got it sussed now and all is good.
Once connected, all is good and I tested the watch against my Polar Chest Strap/Watch and this watch was within a beat or two of the Polar. I also tested it against my Oram Blood pressure Monitor and again, within a very close range. My O2 meter seems to also agree with the watch.
The only thing that I do not trust is how long the straps and their on/off system will keep working before something gives.. in principle, a good idea but in reality, I can see this being a future issue.
So far, with very basic use, the battery life seems good, if it goes for a week, that is good, if it goes for 2 weeks then that is very good, we will see.
To be fair, I was not expecting the watch to do so well, but I stand corrected, and I am happy with it.
Such a great fitness tracker for the price… I only really wanted a step tracker, but finding all the other features on app, like BP, HR etc providing great info. The GPS tracker seems to please itself, but not really bothered about that… Removing strap for charging is a bit of an effort, but other than that, no negatives.
I am still trying to work out all the icons on the watch. It doesn’t keep a weekly total of steps which my old watch did. Maybe it does but I can’t sort it out.
The app is pretty good, you can set up a custom home page with the trackers you care about such as sport record, sleep pattern, temp…. You even have the added option to check your blood oxygen/pressure. When you open the app your watch will automatically sync up if its in range. This is where you choose what sport modes you want active on ur watch. You can only have up to 4 at once however, but I only have walking and spinning active. You can even set a custom screen saver on the watch with any photo on your phone or any of the pre-sets the app comes with and you can change the style of face, such as different clock styles. You can set up alarms to make your watch vibrate at certain times, I have an 8pm alarm set to tell me its time to get ready for my walk. And there is also a drink water notification feature which I haven’t used yet.
Overall a really good sport watch for only 30, slim design. long battery life even after using it everyday for multiple hours at a time. Water proof, so you don’t need to take it off when showering and comes with multiple features.
I didn’t give the app 5 stars because there are a few things I would like to see. simple stuff such as extra modes and the ability to delete alarms because once you create an alarm you can only toggle it on or off, your cant delete it.
