I’ve spent a good while going through various tapes on Amazon, wondering if any were really any good. I’m also concerned that maybe the quality of well-known brands have declined over the years. My last tape purchase from Amazon – though highly rated – was plagued by being too thin, and prone to tearing.
The first thing that struck me with this product was the clarity; you can see right through the roll. I’d imagine this would be great for craft projects. Also useful for waterproofing address labels.
The next thing I noticed was the thickness and strength of the tape. Apparently, ‘2.7 mil’ is an imperial measurement that equates to 0.07mm. As well as making this stronger than most parcel tapes, that extra thickness seems to make it easier to find the edge when taking off a new strip from the roll.
Adhesion seems great, too. I haven’t had the chance to test as much as I’d like, but it’s safe to say this is easily as sticky as other parcel tapes I’ve tried.
I’ll definitely choose this brand next time.
Overall good quality, tears somewhat often. But the smell of plastic/adhesive is overwhelming. If I pack a bunch of boxes and go to bed, the next morning the room with the boxes smells strongly of this tape.
It has a good grip, but it smells quite a bit while applying. I have not really tested it but it feels tick and strong. Good for large moving boxes. I will update how the grip holds after a while.
Used this to pack for a TransCanada move. Highly recommended.

This is really strong, thick tape that never tears until you want to cut off a piece. Definitely not the frustrating dollar store stuff that you can never find the end of. I will buy this again.
I had to say something because I was very surprised. I didn’t know they made tape as thick as this! Sturdy AF and barely stretches.
It is much thicker than the typical packing tape you generally see used. Probaly overkill if just being used to ship parcels. Very good quality.

A super price for these 12 rolls of strong tape. I did find that this wide tape splits a bit more often than others I have used, but for that slight occas. inconvenience, these remain a very good choice.

This packing tape works well. It holds onto cardboard well and does not peel off easily. It is strong and once taped up, the box held together very well and felt sturdy. The tape never felt like it was going to give.
If packing tape is what you need then I don’t really think you can go wrong with this. $31.99 for 12 rolls (as I type) seems like a great deal to me and the tape is on par with every other brand I have personally used. No complaints!
The first thing you notice about this tape when you lift up the box is how heavy it is compared to standard ‘Thin’ packaging tape. This tape is 2.7mils thick and heavy duty … they’re not kidding when they say industrial grade.
In addition to being thick, this tape is also strong, clear and has good adhesion. It’s perfect for taping up heavy boxes for moving or storage. The tape is strong enough to hold tree branches, conduit, plumbing pipe and lumber together when moving.
At $30.99 the cost per roll is $2.85 which is good for premium, heavy duty packaging tape.

We go through a lot of “packing tape” at home, not only for actual packing, but because my kid uses 2″ wide tape more than any other type.
In the past, we’ve made the mistake of buying multi-packs of tape without checking the quality first. This has left us with frustratingly thin tape that isn’t easy to use and breaks too quickly.
This ADHES shipping tape is by far one of the easiest to work with.
The thickness is what I’d consider perfect and not only does it unroll easily, but it also cuts quickly without tearing.
I’ve used it already on various boxes packaging without any issues with the adhesive, which is by all counts, quite aggressive.
The tape is clear, so it can be put on top of labels without causing any problems with scanning or reading the label.
Each roll has 50m of tape on it, which is pretty much the standard for this type of tape.
It also works well with any dispenser that accepts 2″ wide tape.
At around $2.60 per roll, this is an excellent value.
We’ve been on a downsizing and donation tear lately as well as helping family do same so we’re burning through a lot of packing tape to seal boxes for donations.
The tape we’ve been buying at the store ranges from good to annoyingly fragile but all of it seems silly expensive given it’s just tape so we jumped to review this stuff when it was offered.
This is excellent packing tape. Width (1.8-inches) fits a standard, handheld tape dispenser of the type you might buy at the post office. It’s extremely heavy duty and doesn’t tend to rip in odd places like a lot of tape we’ve tried, and the adhesive is amazingly tacky, sticking easily to cardboard as well as less smooth surfaces. (that’s and issue with a lot of other tape we’ve tried – fine for flat cardboard but won’t stick to something like a rough, plastic storage bin)
Removal is fine too, no odd tearing/shredding.
We’re sold. No more buying tape from the store for us – this is a fraction of the cost while being better quality. We tried the clear version but there also appear to be semi-opaque versions if that’s your preference.
Top marks, easy recommendation.
This is an excellent quality tape that sticks very well and seems quite durable. In this 12 pack format, you would be hard pressed to find any better a tape, let alone any cheaper.

Works as you would expect. Sealed up 4 cardboard boxes for shipping and one for storage and the tape stuck as expected. I don’t have a tape gun so this was just used by hand with a knife to cut when needed. Good value for what you get.
Holds well and great value for the money. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s very “loud.” But that’s a personal preference and not a strike against the tape.
