Simply the best, better than all the rest, better than anyone
Does hook well in trees though make sure you have a large open space.
Also doesn’t float so watch out for rivers ect
I have lost many but will always buy another as they r the pups nuts.
These things really are incredible. They go so far, but the problem is, many parks just are not big enough. Of course if you just hold back on your throwing you can use it like a regular frisbee though.
I brought this for my German shepherd puppy, and he loves it. Hes not been able to bite through the it and we have had great fun seeing who can throw it the furthest. The when family Have had so much fun with it.
Good fun for adults & children! Goes some distance when you really put you’re all into the throw! Recommend playing in somewhere very open and clear of obstruction to avoid getting it stuck somewhere 😉
Cant speak for the durability yet as only just started using it. But what I can say is my boy loves it. Once thrown it goes a good distance and he loves chasing it. Great fitness and training toy
Brought this one to replace the last one that I had lost in some bushes. These withstand the rigors AF a Labrador dog, really easy to throw, goes the distance. My last one lasted over 2 years before losing it. Value for money excellent fun. I highly recommend i
Still one of the best frisbees you can buy – and certainly best for distance! Only let down by its accuracy – very difficult to throw it as straight as a more typical plastic disc used in Ultimate Frisbee
I had recently purchased an Aeropress Coffee maker, when I noticed that the inventor of that product – Alan Adler – had also created a line of Frisbees. So I threw caution to the window and purchased the Aerobie Pro, and Holy Crow was I in for a treat. Cutting through the air like a Condor, the Aerobie Pro will elevate your frisbee game to the next level. Soaring higher than the Kestrels in the sky, you’ll have plenty of fun, AND impress your friends. I say buy it.
I bought this for my dogs. Only one of them is interested and I wish I had bought smaller ones for him. They fly well and I love that they are soft for his mouth.
The size I bought is big enough for a big dog, my medium sized dog gets his front paws inside the ring when picking it up.
Lovely colours, cheap, and I couldn’t believe that I got so many for less than the price of one with other people.
I used my mate’s one of these and was throughly impressed so I bought my own to take on a family camping trip. I let the family kids and their new friends play with it and never saw it again. It was either thrown over a hedge due to its awesome flying ability or stolen due to its awesome flying ability. Either way, this is a very good frisbee and now I’m going to have to buy another.
….I was impressed to hear from the company informing me that they will be amending the product description so people don’t think they will be receiving 12 of these. I was also offered the choice of a discount or a refund. I opted for the discount as I think the frisbee is good quality. Well done, a great example of fast, efficient customer service.
Over the years I must have had about 10 of these. They are so much fun, easy to use for all ages over say 6.
We love hitting the beach or the park with these. They are a group game and their one weakness is their biggest strength… and that is that they can go for miles if you give them some welly!!!
The reason we have had about 10 over the years are purely having lost 8 of them to either the sea or ponds (they don’t float) and one got eaten by our dog.
We bought this last one in September after my 6 year old threw it in completely the wrong direction and it headed out to sea at a rapid rate of knots!!!
Buy one… you won’t regret it!!
PS. A killer way to wear out a dog as well!!
Not really sure how to put this, and I’m wondering if I should I rate it 1 star, or 5, because I’ve lost two frisbees in the space of a week. So I’m gonna rate it 5 stars because the frisbee does exactly what it says on the tin. It goes far, really quite far.
Stood against the wind, at one end of a football pitch, I threw the frisbee to my brother in law at the other end… well, I was meant to. The frisbee ended up going over a 30 foot fence behind the opposite goal, over the road and down the hill over an old persons housing complex, over an army cadet hut, and out of sight never to be seen again! Gutted.
Ordered another, and within 2 hours, somebodies garden now has a new ornament.
The third is due today, and we’ve decided to go to a different field, out of sight from any houses, bushes, cliffs or lost property boxes. Just miles of open space so we can enjoy our flying frisbee without fear and tears of losing it.
But, I f you would like to send me a free one just incase, please be my guest. Thanks.
A few months ago I was going round the local park to meet some family and grabbed a frisbee (aka a flying ring so it’s not a branded trademarked name) and a ball as I was leaving. It was fun but I couldn’t help but feel the 10+ year old flying ring I had was a little disappointing, it didn’t go straight, sometimes crash into the ground and seemed like we were standing really close in a circle.
Next thing I know I see this pop up as it was on offer so decided to give it a good based on just the description and amount of good reviews alone. I rarely do this and usually do a little research or watch some video reviews first, but something with a rating like this I just trusted.
OMG! it exceeded my expectations. I’ve never seen a flying ring in person go so far. Conveniently enough I actually used it in the same park as I was using the old one and this thing went the FULL width of the park after a bit of practise. It’s is great exercise as you’ll have to run really far to collect it if it doesn’t come straight to you. So be warned, watch out for any tree within a mile radius of the throwing zone.
Very happy purchase and is being kept in the boot of my car for when required
This takes the game to a different level. Even my ten year old boy can easily throw it over 50 m or more. However, this brings the problem for the player on the receiving end. Over such distances you need a lot of skill to bring it precisely towards your target. The flight is of course impacted on by the wind which can make a long distance game quite a jogg. However, we love the ring, good fun and it certainly attracts the looks (if you like that). I particularly love when you play against the wind and it touches down only to bounce up again to go another good distance. Soft outer material make it pleasant to catch (if it comes close enough). It should last a while until one day it certainly will get lost in the distance.
Exceptional product with a reasonable price tag.
Super impressed with the ease of throwing, I had my whole family throwing it back and forth, previously they had all failed to be impressed and very quickly lost interest, however, Aerobie park days with my son are scheduled on a regular basis now.
Highly recommend, a great activity that is not only enjoyable, but also a good workout. The aerobie lets you enjoyably burn calories with the rest of your family and friends.
The really great thing about the Aerobie is that it fly’s well even in fairly gusty conditions where a normal Frisbee would be unusable! The even better thing is that even an amateur throwing the Aerobie is made to look like a seasoned pro, effortless and very forgiving, no need to get the expert wrist flick and prefectly angled throw any longer, just launch it and you will be looking like a pro!
This frisbee, sorry, aerobie, is tremendous fun, it really is insane how far this thing can fly without much effort. It’s also long lasting, I’ve owned this for over 2 years and it still flies like it’s fresh out of the packaging.
You can position yourselves 50m apart and casually throw it between you, if you manage to find the sweetspot. However, if you don’t quite throw it right or catch the wind in the wrong way, you could find that it comes back to you, or it veers left/right, or it sails over your target’s head for another 100m or so.
Despite and because of that unpredictability, this is great fun to use, and so satisfying when you get one to fly directly to your aim. The fact it’s a ring also opens up lots of interesting ways to try and catch it – not just by sticking your arm through the gap, you can try to catch it on your foot or even over your head (that was a satisfying catch).
This really is a lot of fun, and great exercise as it is inevitable that you will have to run to catch it at some point. It’s particularly great to use in wide-open parks, but I wouldn’t dare try it near any cliffs…
This was my first Aerobie for about 30 years (the last one my Dad bought me in about 1984 or 85 when they first hit the UK) and still just as much fun as I remember. Great fun and even our 6 year old prefers these to traditional frisbees as she can get it to go some distance. The only drawbacks are it can fly too well at times if you are on a confined space such as a beach (obviously don’t use this with too many people around) and it doesn’t float so if it lands in the sea you need to be quick to retrieve it, but in a bit open space it’s fantastic fun. Nothing has changed in those 30 years, the design is just the same and a bit of a timeless classic now.
This is a brilliant glorified frisbee.
The flying literally glides forever! it’s easy to throw in a straight line and doesn’t fly off at silly angles like frisbees do.
My friends and I invented a game with this where it’s kinda like Football mixed with Netball. You have 2 teams, you can’t run with the ring so you have to pass the ring about the pitch until you can put it in the goal. So much fun with there being interceptions, long range throws and quick angled passing.
Brilliant fun and gets you out and about instead of sitting on your backside playing with your phone all day like kids these days seem to do so much!
would definitely recommend and if this one ever breaks (which it won’t because it’s so designed so well) then I would absolutely buy another one!
Build quality – I can only comment on the ones I have received and they are perfect. Strong inner core surrounded by a layer of soft touch silicone. These are not sharp or dangerous at all. You can catch these by putting your arm through the middle whilst in mid flight and you wont get a scratch. I’ve even caught a couple by letting my head go through the centre and have the ring rotate around my neck and guess what, my heads still attached! No grazes, scratches or cuts, so if you receive one which is sharp it definitley a manufacturers fault so send it back.
Useability – my six year old can make this thing glide at least 60-70 metres. Once you get the right technique the trick is NOT throwing this too far, the one I bought now rests at the bottom of a river due to an overthrow by an 8 year old.
Price – you want quality, you pay for quality! Sure you can buy a Frisbee in a pound shop but you can’t buy THIS in a pound shop. Its as far from a frisbee as a Ferrari is from a regular car (didn’t want to offend anyone). And no I’m not exaggerating!
Only problem is you can’t select the colour, but if you’re willing to look beyond that then its a must buy
As a flying toy these are fantastic, but they do come with a very real warning, and if you don’t watch where and how hard your throw it, you will find yourself with a very long walk to collect it. I’ve managed to throw this over 200m with seemingly little effort. At that distance my dog just gave up chasing it. Get it right and it’s great fun – who needs the dog?
They are great for really exercising an energetic dog (as long as she will chase it) but I found mine responded better to throwing this along the ground like a wheel. It will go for 150m with little effort depending on the angle you start it off at – and the wind speed/direction. I have managed to get it to roll, at an angle and leaning slightly into the wind (like a sail), for well over 250m before it stopped. If you increase the angle you can get it to do a huge spiral around you which will send your dog into mad loops chasing it.
Are these meant for kids, adults or dogs? Who cares: everyone will love it.
The only problem is that the edges can get damaged quite easily, especially around dogs, so either buy several at once so you aren’t left without your new favourite toy, or keep it away from a chewing dog.
This thing will fly… and fly… and fly. Seriously it will go on and on forever. Give it a hard enough throw and you will suddenly realise “crap, that has gone way too far.”
So, it flies, that is good. Its direction is normally pretty good too, it doesn’t veer off in random directions if you throw it well enough.
I do have one gripe and that is if it catches the wind because it flies so well you will lose quite a few of these. I think I went through three of these in a year as the wind just took them and for all I know they ended up in Neverland.
So to sum up, even Tinkerbell can’t fly as good as this can but someday, if it is windy, it might just fly off to Neverland instead of staying to play with you
Bloody Brilliant is all I have to say, at first I just assumed all the story’s of it flying so far were over hyped…But no as I threw it I watched as it glided past my sister (nearly 50m away) began to dip down and follow the gradient of the field and just as I thourt to myself, “not bad but a bit over-hyped” it suddenly picked up again from the thermals of the downwards slope and carried on for about another 100m’s before being stopped by the hedges at the end of the field! so after retrieving it decided not to through towards the slope in the field any more, and spent about an hour throwing it around, and with its bright colours it even turned a few heads, before having to go home as the rain began to fall! Cant recommend it enough!
However on a down side you might need to order two so you have a spare on for when you (and you will) lose it.
