My original had started to fail and as my Tom Tom is not longer covered by the company, which forsts my cookies I was unwilling to pay a fortune so this fitted the bill and it works great.
I have a truck tom tom. Couldn’t use it without a lead. Had to use car sat navigation system in my truck which makes life harder as it takes me ways I cannot go in a truck lol

But as it turned out, it was only the cable that had given up.
Trying this product, saved me from the expense of buying a new GPS.
Every so often my satnav cable gets twisted and my Tom Tom no longer works. Being able to buy a new cable saves me from having to buy a new unit and me losing all my saved journeys.
So this cable saved my Tom Tom and me lots of money and loss of my favourite trips.

It’s good enough to power my TomTom when in use in my car, but it’s not good enough to use to update it. Using it to connect to my computer results in a lack of connection for the sat nav. If I use most other micro usb cables I own, it connects instantly to be updated.
