The pump worked intermittently for about 1 month before packing up completely. Red and black wires were showing coming out of the pump but the company failed to reply to my 3 e-mails so I contacted Amazon for a refund.
Works really well on sunny days. Cloudy days it’s so-so, stop and start if it’s overcast, which is a shame considering the size of the panel.
But it’s a lovely sound and good value for the price
Easy to assemble and worked first time, good for a small water feature. When fully charged water fountain height is between 25-40cm depending on what spray nozzle you use. Having the battery function means you can still run on a cloudy day for a few hours
he last two weeks iv tried a few of them fountains and had to send them all back one was broken on arrival,but this one works great its got its own battery built in to the pump so even if its a dull day it works a treat well made
Bought this to replace one I bought last year. Different solar panel and pump from the same manufacturer, which worked fine last year, but this year hardly works at all. The new one seems to have a better panel and pump. It’s working well so far, but I’ll see what happens next year.
This solar panel worked a treat on sunny days and days which are overcast it has a slight pause. It actually has quite a powerful spray for the size of my pond so I’m using the most basic one which is still nice as it dances as it tries to balance on the water.
Will see how it does in the more gloomier months but so far Jun-Aug it’s been working grea
When the product arrived through my letter box ( yes letterbox) I thought I had bought a joke product. The pump is really tiny, but as you can see in the video it is more than adequate for a small pond. I initially used the floating mode, but decided to put a brick on its end and place the pump on the brick as you can see. I put the small solar panel outdoors for a day so it could charge the battery fixed to its back, then I installed the pump. Lots of connecting cable. I really can’t believe how well it works , given how inexpensive it was. I am not sure what the buyers with negative comments were doing, but I am very happy with this product.
Excellent little pump, it’s tiny in size ie 40mm square , but manages to circulate my water nicely and stays on all day I live in Scotland so not so sunny but works grea
Love the fact the cable is 3 metres, I can move it anywhere and can catch the sun all day, even on over cast days it still works, so much better than the last one I had, I was lucky if I got an hour, you may have to wipe the filter after a few days but from experience that’s standard. For me it’s a
This is my first encounter with water pumps and I can assure you it won’t be the last ,so simple to assemble and couldn’t believe how long it operated after the sun went down. I made this small bird bath next one will be much bigge
I wanted a solar water fountain and previously had purchased 2 cheaper ones which weren’t great! This fountain is fab – it even works on cloudy days! when you first purchase it, make sure you know where the filter is and how to open it, only because it can be a bit stiff to open when you first get it and if I didn’t do this I would probably think it was broken!
The pump has pleased me so far. I think reviews would be more helpful after the buyer has had a good while to experience the product rather than brand new. It arrived yesterday on time and I installed it today. So far I am pleased and amazed it work during a rain shower but it did! So far so good.
Wanted a solar pump for my small pond that worked even if sun wasn’t out. This little pump certainly seems to do that. It started working immediately it went in the water and it was a cloudy day. Fitted the solar panel to top of my fence to get maximum sun. So far it’s working a treat. Creates a gentle water sound. Keeps working most of the day. Only got it 3 days ago so hopefully it will keep working.
Very happy with this item, works as described and plenty powerful enough for a small pond / water feature, battery backup works well. If I had 1 criticism, that would be that the solar panel does not have a stand / peg so unless you make one it will just lay flat on the floor, there are holes in the metal frame to hang on a wall but for optimal sun light, that is not an option for me.
I brought one of these solar powered fountains and immediately put the panel in the sun, not realising that the float was behind the panel. After a while I decided to put it together, I could not find the float. You always get a few bad reviews, and I had read them, so was on my guard. I jumped to the wrong conclusion and assumed that the float was missing. TUOYUAN-EU were very good at communicating and sent me another fountain. When I received the new fountain and unpacked it, I realised that the float was behind the solar panel, I checked the original panel, and there it was, the float I thought was missing. I was wrong and had somehow embezzled a new fountain. I offered to pay, but TUOYUAN-EU were very kind and let me just have the second fountain. Having two is really handy as I can charge one, while using the other, which gives me a very good charge and so both run for a long time, they both work very well.
I bought this in April for my wildlife pond,, its now the end of June and I am really pleased with the performance so far. The panel is long and I have it on top of a cornered trellis strapped down with cable ties facing skywards. The fountain is always on, sun, clouds, evenings. It also has a high spray, I use a single hole so its higher and makes a lovely sound when the water falls back down.I do find the filter needs a clean once a week, I just wipe off any blanket weed withmy finger plus I give it a spray with a spray jus just to clear the inlet. All in all its a great fountain, worth buying.
I’ve ben quite impressed with this little pump.
Firstly, it is very small (suprisingly so). I wanted a pump that did not float, and was concerned that I might have to weigh it down, but the floating part is a removable foam disc so that was easy.
It does not create a big jet of water – at least not with the foutain head I tried – but that is perfect for my needs.
Even better, the solar panel seems to work in overcast conditions. It is early June, so the sun is as strong as it will be here in the UK, but the panel is out of direct sunlight and has been all day. Already though, the pump is running (and the battery ran down overnight so I’m pretty sure this is new power, not stored). Again – jet height is small so if you’re after a tall foutain effect this might not be the one for you, but for a gentle trickle and the sound of moving water it has exceeded my expectations.
Now I’m just hoping it lasts!
