Bought this knife set almost two years ago to be used in our new house. After being used almost daily for that whole time, with the occasional sharpening, they’re still fantastic and chopping well. Really good purchase

The set might be made of mixed metals, which means NO DISHWASHER, please.
Other than that, all great. After using, give it a wash, dry it and put it away. All good!

Both products i bought yesterday are amazing and up to standards but the delivery guy was rood and said i wasn’t old enough and even questioned if my year of birth was right even though i have brought products before that needed ID and was able to collect the items of the delivery driver, honestly talk about age discrimination.

I bought my first home recently, so I obviously needed all the essentials. For a while, I was looking at super expensive knives because people tell you to buy quality that will last. However, I saw the good reviews for these, and it really helped with my budget, so I went for it.

I am astounded by how good they are. They are super sharp and very solid, and there are loads of knives! The knife block is basic, but it does the job. It even comes with a knife sharpener. The only downside is that is has the “Amazon Basics” etched into it the wooden block, but I have that side facing the wall, so no one will ever know! You’d honestly never know they were cheap from using them or looking at them.

Very pleased I went for these. I know people that buy expensive brands, and they’ve had those knives break eventually anyway. I can foresee these lasting quite some time if looked after properly.

Overall the knoves are good, and very good value at UK24. I bought these knoves because they identical to th eone I have had for some 24 years. (branded as Goldn King). Unfortunatelly, despite they are the nearly exact copy (size, handle, pinning, holder the same) they are THICKER. These are 2mm thisck, and I have such thick chef knife and it is mucj harder to sharpen on the stone. I am returning this for this only reason. By the way: about dish washer use: good knives are never meat to be put in dishwasher, because they lose the sharpness witj prolonged high heat. Also these have the pinning for the handles made of soft metal, which will corrode over time if used on dishwasher.
