Bought this to replace the inlet flow valve to the toilet. Have since used it to replace the kitchen mixer tap. In both instances it performed the tasks really well. Nice sturdy piece of kit and well worth the money paid.
Took a chance on these as they was cheaper then a 12 inch branded shifter for a set of 4, I’ve used all 4 at work and although they don’t get heavy use I’ve had no problems so fa
These are a small but well made and sturdy adjustable wrench that is just right for getting into tight places – like behind the toilet seat and cistern, where there is often little room for leverage. Just right for those plumbing jobs that need a wrench to crack the nut but are too tight for a conventional adjustable wrench.
Their are better 6 inch wide jaw spanners if you want to spend more iv lost a few this spanner does the job just feels a bit looser/movement on spanner head very simular to monument.
Love this spanner, I’m a plumber always keep it in my pocket. Had my last one different make for about 4 years lost in so gutted, but it’s done me a favor at the jaws open alot wider on this set.
Would I buy again yes most definatly
I find it easy to use as it has good scale marking over it to ascertain the nut size and requirement of tightening the noose accordingly. However I found it a bit not conforming to price. The grip is good for handling wet tasks.
I bought this wrench as I’ve been searching for one thin enough to grasp and easily tighten/untighten adjustable toe stop nuts for roller skates. This one does the job almost perfectly (you do need to rotate the wrench 180 sometimes to make sure the adjustable extension doesn’t scratch your skates while tightening). It’s also good for adjusting skate truck nuts. Much better at securing parts than the “crab tool” that can come with roller skates. Should be in every roller skater’s kit bag!
Perfect set for plumbing where you often need jaws that open wide but also require slim jaw depth for narrow gaps and thin nuts like on compression fittings. I got the set of 4 on a deal, but the smallest two would be most useful. The largest in the set is a real monster, with real wide opening jaws. Quality seems right up there with top brandede items, they are certainly not low quality
This is a solid spanner with minimal play in the jaw. I bought it to help remove a bike bottom bracket as I did not have anything that would securely fit the 32mm needed for the bottom bracket tool. It was perfect for the job. The fit was much more secure than the pipe wrench that I had.
I now have a quality adjustable spanner big enough for plumbing jobs .
.
t it w
fit a bottom bracket tool for a bike.
It feels much more secure than the pipe wrench that I used to use
