Amazon Basics AA 1.5 Volt Performance Alkaline Batteries, 20-Pack,

I felt these were good value batteries, they seem to last a good amount of time. I didn’t receive any that had leaked out and went bad.
The pricing for me was good enough as i didn’t want to really pay a heavy price solely for a AA battery and these do seem to do the job perfectly fine and without issue.

Overall these are good quality batteries that i would happily purchase again.

Great batteries for the price. Last as long as most branded batteries, and the fact they are cheaper doesn’t mean less use. In this case the old adage “you get what you pay for” in my opinion, does not apply

Bought these to use in battery powered Xmas lights etc and they did the job. They don’t last as long as named brands, but work fine for anything not using a large amount of energy – remotes, wall clocks etc

These batteries are perfect for the xmas season with dozens of things and lights needing batteries. Usually you would pay a lot, then after Xmas have loads of half used batteries. These are perfect for all the Xmas fairy lights and Xmas items as they are a fraction of the price and will be out of charge by the end of Xmas. If you have something essential, eg dog walking torch, Amazon sell higher powered batteries. So it’s horses for courses, a great cheap buy, for non essential items with short life.

I have had these for a long time, maybe a year or more and I have still not used all 20 batteries as they last a long time for me. I have had no issues with them so I would say, there is no reason not to purchase them unless you are using them for a device that requires an unusual amount of energy.

I use many batteries and find that these are good value for money and seem to last just as long as the expensive brands. I will continue to reorder as long as the quality remains the same. Gave four stars overall become the package was splattered with cheap perfume, so had to transfer to another container. The smell was pretty awful. I guess the bottle must have broken next to my package in the van.
Someone must be disappointed not receiving their perfume.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI took a chance on these because I generally find that you get what you pay for with batteries – and these are so dramatically cheaper than the brand I usually buy …. but they work just fine. I’ve had them for a while now, and the two clocks I’ve used them in so far as still chugging away perfectly happily. For me and what I use them for, they’re ideal and I’m very happy with them.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersIf you’re looking for a good quality battery that won’t break the bank, you might want to consider the Amazon Basics Batteries. These alkaline batteries are suitable for a wide range of devices, from remote controls and clocks to flashlights and cameras. They have a long shelf life of 10 years, and they’re designed to prevent leakage during storage. In this review, I’ll go over the pros and cons of these batteries, and give you some reasons to buy or avoid them.

    —Pros—
1- High performance: The Batteries deliver a high amount of power for various devices. They perform well under high loads, as well as low drains. these batteries have a high capacity, especially in the AA and AAA sizes. They can last longer than some of the more expensive brands on the market.
2- Low price: They are very affordable, especially if you buy them in bulk. You can get a pack of 100 AA batteries for 15.99, which works out to be 16p per battery. That’s a great deal compared to other brands that can cost up to 50p per battery.
3- Variety of sizes: They come in different sizes, including AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V. You can choose the size that fits your needs, and order them online with ease. You can also get rechargeable versions of these batteries if you prefer.

    —Cons—
1- No detailed specs: The Amazon Batteries don’t have any detailed specifications on their packaging or website. You won’t find information such as the voltage, current, or energy density of these batteries. This can make it hard to compare them with other brands or to know how they will perform in different situations.
2- Availability: The Batteries are only available online through Amazon. You can’t find them in any physical stores, which can be inconvenient if you need batteries urgently. You also have to pay for shipping costs, unless you have an Amazon Prime membership.

    —Reasons to Buy—
    – You want a good quality battery that can power your devices for a long time.
    – You want to save money on batteries by buying them in bulk.
    – You want a battery that has a long shelf life and doesn’t leak.

    —Reasons to Avoid—
    – You need detailed information about the battery specifications before buying.
    – You prefer to buy batteries from physical stores or other online retailers.
    – You want a battery that has more features, such as a charge indicator or a low self-discharge rate.

    —Conclusion—
The Amazon Basics Batteries are a reliable and affordable choice for everyday use. They offer high performance, low price, and a variety of sizes. They’re suitable for most devices that require alkaline batteries. However, they don’t have detailed specs, and they’re only available online through Amazon. If you don’t mind these drawbacks, then you might want to give these batteries a try.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI seem to never stop buying these, mainly due to teenagers with game controllers!
They are a good quality battery with a decent amount of power which seems to last as long as the more expensive big brands. The bigger the pack, the cheaper they become, what’s not to like?

I thought they wouldn’t last but I was surprised I use them on my battery lights which I have in the garage and around different rooms in the house they switch on when there is movement detected, they are lasting just as long as the big name batteries, would recommend.

I purchased a box of AA first, they where as good as if not better than the usual Duracel i buy at half the price, the AAA are just as good!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a good value bundle. Nice to have. They work well and not found any ‘fit issues’ when using them. They don’t last as long as duracell but are fraction of the cost. So it’s a trade off.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLove these, can’t tell any major difference to any other battery I buy (except Lithium batteries).
The ‘all cardboard’ packaging is simple.
One star lost for the final plastic wrap per every 5 batteries (which is also a pain to open), wrap them in paper and/or cardboard instead. If it is some kind of regulation that prevents the elimination of all plastic, I know Amazon is capable of:
A – Coming up with a technical packaging feature to make it genuinely as safe as today
B – Has the might to overcome bad regulation politically
C – Making it all financially viable

    Good luck!
