Wanted a strong clamp to hold a pocket hole jig. Bought this as it was the cheapest. Was very surprised at how good it is for the money. Casting isn’t the best but the mechanism is solid and the holding power is great.
I have idea how long it will last but I only occasionally have the need for pocket holes so hopefully a long time.
I have 3 pairs of these now and I think they are great the do the job in hand and open to a wide clamp
I wasn’t expecting much from these being amazon basics brand but was quite surprised how strong and sturdy they are. Everybit as good as irwin ones and better than the ones I already had which I paid twice as much for.
I like face clamps as they are easily removed and replaced. These are no exception and my only observation on these particular clamps is that the face pads are smaller than others I’ve seen. However, at the price, this is not a feature that bothers me at all.
Good value purchase. Strong and effective clamping.
While they don’t have the quality feel of Irwin or stronghand clamps, they are still a decent clamp. They are a fraction of the price of the brands named above.
These Clamps are the best ones in my toolkit. I’ll be ordering some more if I can get different size ones too. Used to hold glued items as well as holding a straight edge to run circular saw along. Easy to adjust and the flat plates on the jaws don’t damage the surface of what being clamped, would be easy to add foam pads to as well to further protect surfaces.
Bought this as a cheaper alternative to a dedicated face clamp for pocket hole joinery. It feels seriously solidly made, and not at all flimsy. Haven’t used it in anger yet, but initial thoughts are really positive.
These are great, in fact they are so great I immediately bought another pair!
I use these clamps with my dowel jig Joint Genie. Good strength and yet compact without getting in the way.

I was surprised at just how solid these are for the price I got these while they were almost half price definitely worth waiting till there on offer again and get two twin packs il definitely be getting more of these

I am the owner of a number of high end tools including mafell, Festool and Bosch proffesional. In my opinion it’s worth paying extra for accuracy and quality of product. Somethings like clamps do a very basic job and there is no need to spend silly amounts on certain tools that do a very basic job where accuracy is not important. These clamps fit the bill perfectly , seem well made, solid, good grip and smooth thread on the adjuster so they are a bargain in my opinion compared to the alternate Kreg clamps available .
I bought this for use with a pocket hole jig and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much and was pleasantly impressed when I felt the weight of the item. Really nice solid feel and a lot more for the money. Will certainly be buying more Amazon basic items if this is the quality to expect. Also will be getting a couple of more of these.
