used to mod my ds as my old sd card had little to no room (like 4GB) and after reformatting this card, I was able to have way more space. came secure and sealed.
I checked that the SDXC micro SD card I bought for my Raspberrypi pi5 project. In Ubuntu it’s fairly easy using fdisk in a terminal, and this would be the last chance to return before formatting and potentially damaging it yourself. 128GB is significantly more than I need to run a full time CCTV project, storing daily photos and videos for a month or more based on motion triggering.
These 128GB cards are great value. My decision to try it was helped by a technical online review which rated the #Amazon Basics brand highly compared to others.
All that data on such a small piece of plastic. I’ve lost it already. I should buy another one but I’d loose that too. Should be the size of an 80s floppy disk
Got a lot of games and was running out of space for them, this has covered that and then some and a very price I got it for at the time. Definitely recommend it, especially if you can get it when its discounted.
I don’t know anything about SD cards but I bought this for a camera it came with a brilliant little plastic case to keep it in and so it kept me from losing or breaking it.
This purchase has been a game changer for me
For too long now I have been running out of space and needed to delete photos before I could take any more
I thought I would have to buy an external attachment hard drive disk, until a colleague told me about this.
I had a big birthday celebration coming up and wanted to take a large quantity of photos, this internal storage memory card meant I was able to do so.
I am very very happy with it.
I removed and put back in the card, then it worked again, the camera never stoped working, only the card’s local space..
It’s odd I’ll update if it happens again.
Works well in my Dashcam, all OK, formats OK so all good.
The previous card I purchased through amazon, but from a third part supplier turned out to be useless, and failed after 6 months, turns out I think it was formatted to make it seem like it had a greater storage than it actua had, and the seller has changed site or name, no reply when I sent messages. So I will stick with Amazons own memory cards from now, ordering direct from amazon is poss a better bet.
The SD card is perfect for my needs and I definitely recommend it for increasing the limited storage space of the Switch!
Don’t pay more for less, I have purchased a lot of SD cards in my time and these have been the most satisfying, they have good capacity, good speeds and all of them are still operational.
I have them in my steam deck, my tablets and phone, got one in the switch too.
I used to use the Samsung evo SD cards, but it often isn’t necessary.
Try one of these, you won’t be disappointed.
It’s not the first time I have bought these; the only problem I have had is losing them, and that’s easy to do, making the replacement price a lot more bearable. The card works well and easily fits and is removed for playback on other equipment. I am sure “I’ll be back”
Testing the A2 spec claim didn’t go so well though. CrystalDiskMark showed 4k Read IOPS of around 2080 and 1880 for both QD8 and QD1, well below the 4000 IOPS spec for A2, but above the 1500 IOPS spec for A1. It also showed 4k Write IOPS of around 800 & 750 for QD8 and QD1, well below the 2000 IOPS spec for A2, but above the 500 IOPS write spec for A1.
This makes it a solid A1 class card, rather than an A2 class card, and I have bought A1 class cards with better application class performance.
Needed quite a few cards for a extended photo shoot, knew i would be getting through a few cards in that period. Didn’t want to spend silly money on expensive brands, Don’t trust Scandisc, far to many fakes that don’t work. nor did I want unknown brands. Didn’t want to go any higher than 64gig just in case I lost a cards worth of photos. These were fine, no problems or stutters, upload speed was decent enough, Download speed was also decent enough, each card held near enough 64gig, if you want high performance cards look elsewhere, but for everyday decent value and quality cards these are fine.
After seeing some reviews that said it worked and some that said it doesn’t for the Amazon fire kids tablet I thought it’s worth a try for the price. It definitely works, you just have to go into the settings and transfer the data across to the memory card on the adults profile first. Had no issues with storage since!
I bought this for my Kindle Fire Max. Unlike the cheaper 1Tb card I bought from Amazon (not their own brand!) This card went straight in and WORKED – no errors in the formatting. I wish I’d bought this in the first place, it’s a bit more expensive, and a bit less capacity, but I’m much happier with this TF card, and would happily recommend it. It’s worth paying a bit more to get a trustable product!
I bought one of of these to test it in my action camera. I was curious as it is half the price of my top-branded ones. It works great, so I’ve just bought two more.
My drone SD card had started to fail so I needed a replacement the spec is high for drone use so I was surprised to see this appearing in the search. Having checked and compared the specification it met all my needs and was cheaper than similar cards from well known brands. It also had ya quick delivery time. It arrived as promised and is working well with my drone and has been used extensively with no issues.
Dont believe that a maje is aby different. The last v expensive sd card decided to only let me use it in one camera never had that issue before. My new basic one this ine works so well for little cost. Great value.
Fast delivery and competitive price when compared to similar cards. It works as it should and gets the fifth star when it’s done so for a number of years. What else can you say about a memory card?
