I have searched everywhere to find a good fitting filter for my fridge. The Samsung original filters do not fit properly !! I have wasted so much time and money trying to find a filter. Thanks to someone’s review on amazon I found this filter. It fits perfect, what a relief.
This Amazon own brand substitute water filter is better than the Samsung original, back when Samsung still made them for my fridge that is.
For the past year or more, I’ve been forced to return to the Brita Filter jug in the fridge door and ice-cube trays, and I won’t buy another Samsung product ever again. On a fairly new fridge, useless Samsung stopped making filters to fit it. Ridiculous. All the substitute filters claimed they would fit my fridge but didn’t. All of which rendered my fridge useless except for storing chilled stuff in.
At last, thanks to Amazon, I can now use the water and ice-cube capabilities of my fridge once again. This filter fit into place so much more easily than the original. It’s also so much cheaper a LOT cheaper! And the water tastes great.
I went for the 2-pack at a little over 21 compared to 35 to 45 for the originals. What’s not to like?
Being disabled, having these fridge functions back and not having to manhandle the door jug makes a huge difference for me. Thank you, Amazon, for filling this gap.
Not sure what’s happening at Samsung and why their water filters no longer fit their fridge freezers!! Have had 2 official filters that I have brought in the past but now no longer fit! Yes these Amazon Basics filters may not last as long as 6 months like the Samsung but at least they fit!!! And 3 for nearly the price if 1 from Samsung!!
Like many others, I have had problems with Samsung water filters in the past. They are expensive, difficult to fit, and even when you think you have all the codes right, you discover it is apparently wrong for your model fridge. So, trying the much cheaper Amazon ones’ was a risk, but it paid off. They fit, don’t leak, and last the required 6 months

Fits my Samsung fridge and is a much better filter (filters out more) than the OEM filter I was using.
In addition you get two Amazon filters for the price of one on the Samsung filters.
The original Samsung filter have become too expensive over the years and we started buying generic filters. They were usually acceptable, some did not fit at all some were good. This Amazon Replacement filter is simply brilliant. The specs look promising in comparison to other filters. It is very easy to install, the water tastes very good and we can really taste the difference. This is a quality product from a reputable supplier and we will be buying only these filters when we run out. Highly recommended!
Filter packs fit fridge with no issues and water comes out clear and chilled, although it did with the old filter too. Unfortunately my chemistry lab I ordered at the same time hasn’t turned up yet and so I have yet to complete a detailed analysis of the chemical content of the water before and after the filtration process and therefore cannot comment on the efficiacy of the filters themselves, however it does still taste like water after filtering.
When I first came across these filters, i was unsure whether they would fit correctly as the fittings were slightly different. I took a chance on ordering this twin pack.
Our Samsung filters have needed replacing for a while so we’ve not been using the water from the fridge as it tastes pretty poor unfiltered so we’d been buying packs of bottled water.
I’m so pleased to say that the filter fitted and the filtered water tastes so much better. We’ve decided not to buy bottled water anymore as it’s bad for the environment and keep using the filtered water from the fridge in reusable bottles.
Bought these instead of buying the Samsung originals – worked out around the same price for 3 amazon filters as 1 Samsung filter.
Having used now for about 2 months I can honestly say apart from the packaging there is no difference, initially there was a slight taste difference but I would put that down to the fact my previous filter needed replaced about 2 months before I actually replaced it.
The packaging is basic but functional – not sure what I can say about that but I comes with instructions that even I can follow.
I will be buying these again when needed as they are so much better value and fit perfectly
Clone product – as easy/difficult to fit as the Samsung filter – hopefully does the same job

Good value and fits and works as well as the Sansung original that was in there before.
Fits and no leaks. I’d say the pressure on these are better then the originals Samsung’s which seemed slow despensing water.
No quality changes in the water taste from originals happily keep buying these ones.

Excellent price compared to the original, a bit fidgety to install. Doesn’t knock off the change filter luggt.
