For the price this can’t be beaten on my desk I wasn’t able to use the clamp but it has holes for screws. Setup was a breeze will most likly buy more in the future

Everything about this is great. Please check that the table you will attached this too is suitable and does not have a side hanging down underneath the table top. The table I used is from IKEA and I had to cut a small piece of the side piece of wood underneath the table top to ensure a 100% stable fitment.

I use a Dell 34″ monitor (less than 9kg) and this product works well for it. At first I was slightly concerned as it looked as though there was slight flex in the bar, but so far it holds well. The product feels strong and I really like that it is hollow to allow cables to be channeled through it – it makes for a very clean set up. Good job Amazon Basics!

This is my first VESA mount, so I don’t exactly have a set opinion to compare this VESA mount to other VESA mounts; It’s a good VESA mount that is easy to set up with easy-to-understand instructions, most of the VESA mount is already assembled for you. Overall Great VESA mount.

This monitor arm is strong and stable with my LG 27 inch monitor. I was worried that the desk clamp/bracket would not be very sturdy, but as soon as I took it out of the box I could see that it is a well built item and the bracket was well within the strength needed to support my monitor.

Bought this to support my 34″ Samsung LS34J550WQRXXU WQHD Ultra Wide Monitor on an Ikea desk. No issues with it once in place. The monitor is happily supported even with the main support well off the monitor centre.

Setting it up is a fiddly pain though – suggest disconnecting the VESA mount first, attaching that to the monitor, then plugging it on last (especially if your monitor is on the heavier side). The instructions are also a bit lacking – however all bits are provided, including two types of VESA mounting screws.

Screen forward/back tilt adjustment is a bit janky (you need to tighten a screw on the mount), the way it was supplied had the monitor leaning forward, so needed adjustment out of the box. A tip is to over tighten it (so your monitor is facing up a bit), then manually pull the monitor down and it should hold position fine.

The monitor / mount attachment clip is plastic and unfortunately a bit broke off when putting the monitor on (however it was entirely superficial). All the metal bits feel solid and well built.

Overall good value for the price – and as stated will support monitors at a larger size than what is promised on the advert.

ideal for dual monitors if you have plenty of room, look good, essembly a little awkward but value for money and sturdy , not a lot of angle movement for ease of use and space but overall good

This is a very good mount however some people are answering questions saying it can take larger monitors than it states.

It will not take 2 x 32 monitors, anyone saying it does is lying.

I have another use for it gratefully so I will be keeping it as it is very good.

Bought this for my twin monitor desk setup. It was easily assembled with the insurrections provided. Good adjustments on all angles is good too. Just a shame it wasn’t slightly higher so my laptop could sit straight underneath.

Used this to lift my monitor from it’s base. Perfect and ideal for what I wanted. At a great price, you’d do wrong to miss this. The product also has cable management which is a great added bonus for anyone looking for a cleaner desk look. I would reccomend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the sturdiest monitor mount I’ve purchased, and it’s hollowed out for cable management which is a great feature.
I would leave it a 5 star review if the pole wasn’t so short – it’s only 40cm in height, and the arm can’t go any higher, so keep this in mind when ordering! That means the center of your screen will only be a maximum of like 35cm high – if you have a really wide screen you probably won’t be able to have it vertical, and if you’re tall it’s going to be too low.

I recently transformed my wfh setup and this made the biggest difference. I was considering spending 100+ on a monitor arm but over spends in other areas meant I needed a budget solution. This arm was way better when expected. Easy to assemble and very stable. Is also holds the monitor very close to the wall!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use this to allow me to rotate a large (28 inch, 5.6 kg) monitor (Philips 288E2A, 3840 x 2160 pixels).
So far it works adequately except that the desk clamp is less rigid than it should be – it bends when tightened.
I am still perfectly happy with my purchase but I would advise against using it with any monitor above 27 inches or that weighs as much as 10 kg).

Good all round value and performance.
Easy to setup and all needed tools supplied.
I liked the wider double clamp at the base (I would suggest using spreader plate between screws and table if you have ‘waffle’ style table top like many IKEA desks are constructed from)
Easy height adjust as well as direction of monitor…you will need Allen key (hex wrench) to adjust tilt angle.

Very strong Stand with double screw in clamps, monitors can be turned, pulled out, twisted, tilted, great if cables are in bottom of your monitors just tilt it over no more stupid trying to find the sockets, make sure your monitor will fit the the 4 screw holes, to remove the monitor simply just press in the clip and lift your monitor out of its resting bracket.

I have had this few years now and not once as the double clamp came lose, i be lost without this double stand, using with a Philips FHD 24″ and a 4K Benq 28″ would have ran both Benq monitors but i have lack of room in my living room, again this is why the Stand comes in very handy.

As the COVID lockdown rumbles on and my wife continues to work at home from a desk in our livingroom we (well I) decided to improve and more importantly tidy her work space. The stands allowed us to free up much needed desktop space whilst maintaining the same height and layout of her original setup. Only draw back is the mounting system if your desk as rails running near the edge of your desk like ours did leading to me having to permanently attaching the stand to the desk with screws.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI share a desk with my other half… it’s my desk really, but she has a computer tucked underneath that she can use from time to time. I purchased this monitor arm to try and maximise the desk space available by being able to get rid of the monitor stand and also to be able to push the monitor out of the way when not in use, but also be able to pull the monitor out and have it at a suitable viewing angle when actually in use. This monitor arm does this perfectly.

The desk I have is pretty sturdy so it has a good surface to clamp to. I’m not sure I’d want to clamp this to something like the IKEA Linnmon desks are they’re pretty hollow and not very rigid… but that’s more a fault of the desk than the arm. Just something worth mentioning to make sure you’re not attaching this to something too weak to hold it.

The product itself is very well made. I expected a much weaker, more flimsy product for this price and especially considering it has “Basics” in the brand name… but it’s absolutely solid, decently thick steel. There’s no way it’ll bend or flex easily. Really easy to put together, took only about 10 minutes or so to completely set it up on the desk. Adjustability is great, the arm is a little bit stiff so it may take a bit of time to make it easier to move about, but it’s generally pretty good.

I’m not entirely sure of the specs of the monitor, but it’s a fairly beefy ASUS 27″ unit… Absolutely no issues holding this monitor, no adjustments needed to make it support the weight. I was in the market for two monitor stands and decided this one would cut it for that monitor, but for my own Samsung 34″ ultrawide, I wasn’t convinced it’d be sturdy enough so bought a different arm for that. Admittedly I haven’t tested it, but having now physically seen and felt the product, I’d be almost happy to say this would likely have held that ultrawide monitor as well.

The cable management is quite good for such a simple thing as well. The pole is basically hollow with a hole at the bottom rear. There is then a plastic cap that keeps the top of the pole neat and tidy once you’ve run your cables… It’s very basic but does such a great job… and the rear exit is a very welcome feature as I’ve seen others that come from the front and you end up with the cables shoved right in view. The rear helps keep them hidden and tidy, you’d barely even know the cables were there!

For such a basic monitor arm, I highly, highly recommend this product.

    ————————————–

This is my second monitor stand – my first one was a single one from a different manufacturer, as I recently purchased a 24″ screen to mount in portrait mode. The previous one was very sketchy with such a huge monitor on it, despite the monitor being within load limits….

    PROS
    ————————————–

    – MUCH easier tilt adjustment than previously – can hold my Samsung CF791 without falling (the CF791 is notorious for having an AWFUL VESA mount that makes keeping it still an extreme challenge)
    – Cable routing through the stand (when I get around to it…)
    – Nowhere near the amount of lean previously noticed with other screens
    – Easy angle/height adjustment even when locked in place without much undoing required

    CONS
    ————————————–

    – Still leans….see pictures. Not much of a con though, as short of a piece of structural steel, a 34″ ultrawide will always make these stands lean
    – Dual base clamp wheels, which are tricky to get level, especially on IKEA desks where it’s easy to overtighten and destroy the desk

    SUMMARY
    ————————————–

This stand is night-and-day compared to what I had before, and I’m very impressed at it’s value. The stand itself is huge in diameter, and has a really neat cable route that can fit kettle-leads and HDMI cables with ease. It leans, and bends, but this is to be expected, and it’s very slight. It doesn’t appear to be getting worse. It can also fit an ultrawide as long as you only use a 24″ for the second screen – this current setup has maxed out the arm width, so a 27 would not fit. Nor would the 24 in landscape mode. Assembly was simple!

    FOR IKEA DESK USERS:

This stand will have the same issues as any other with certain desks – if like me you’ve got a honeycomb desk, it’ll crush it with the added weight of two monitors. I have fixed the slight lean in its entirety by cutting two pieces of solid wood, and sandwiching the desk between them where the monitor stand clamps. The stand is FAR stronger like this, as the load is spread out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product - Much stronger than others! !IMPORTANT FOR IKEA USERS!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersPros:
    * Feels solid and well made, like most Amazon Basics products.
    * Quick-release mounts make adding or removing a monitor easy.
    * The backing plates screw onto the monitors without the need for a screwdriver, using computer case style screws.
    * Nice, smooth hinges with hex screws for adjustments. Comes with a set of Allen keys.
    * The central column is hollow, to allow for cables to be fed through. I have this neatly set up with no cables showing at my desk.

    Cons:
    * You cannot adjust monitors independently up or down, on a vertical plane in front of you. This means you cannot perfectly align two different monitors next to each other. If you have one monitor that is bigger than the other, it will probably sit lower than the other.
    * The arms could be slightly longer, to allow more flexibility with horizontal positioning and tilting. I wouldn’t buy this for anything bigger than 2 x 27″ monitors.

I have no problems at all with the build quality of this item which is very good. It is strong and sturdy with twin clamps which strongly anchor the bracket to the desk. My only criticism is that the arms are not quite long enough for twin 27-inch monitors. It can, and does, hold them very well but there is limited room for them to be angled inwards. Just an extra centimetre on each bracket arm would make all the difference. For anything smaller than 27 inches this bracket is perfect. For 27 inch monitors it’s ok but limited.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI bought this to use with a 27inch monitor (7.8kg), I used it for a week without problems. I upgraded to a 32inch 7.5kg monitor and the stand holds fine, is a little bit bent but nothing to worry about. The clamp is very basic, I use an Ikean Linnmon desk which is not made of solid wood, I used two small square of solid food to reinforce the clamp side underneath the desk just to make sure the table top doesn’t break. Design wise it’s ok, only thing I don’t like is the clamp to attach the arm to the support, kinda ugly.

UPDATE: a month after use I notice that the Ikea top was carving because the surface of the clap is very small and there is a lot of pressure applied, so I removed one piece of wood from the bottom and added it to the top to expand the surface for the clamp and release pressure from the table top. Now the arm is not bent anymore.

4.0 out of 5 stars Basic product, but does the job

I would like to start off by saying i bought this and built the desk im using around this product so sizing height and fastening to the desk i had no issues. I purchased 2 of these for 2 24inch Samsung curved monitors the arms seem to hold them up fine getting the arm on the upright pole was a bit of a struggle as the catch foot dose stick out a little far but it did mean there was a better and stronger hold on the upright. the only other issue i only had with one of them was the vertical tilt was verry lax and kept dropping but after tightening the hex bolt with the Alan keys provided they hold it all up fine
