Quality of build. Ease of use and flexibility all excellent. Yes it is a suitcase but a bloody good one.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersImagine this, you’ve just come off a 10 hour overnight flight you’re sleepy, you’re groggy. You’ve just been herded through passport control taking what seem likes hours, and had to put up with the attitude of the immigration officer. Your eyes are blurry and you just want to sleep.

Now the monotonous task of waiting for your suitcase! You watch all the suitcases come off the conveyor belt and they all pretty much look the same. You watch somebody grab a suitcase that they think is theirs, then put it back when they realise it isn’t.

Then you remember, you bought a yellow suitcase! You sit back on the airport chairs, whilst people hoard the conveyor belt, fighting over every inch.

You keep a relaxed eye on the belt, and lo and behold you see your yellow suitcase a mile away, like a ray of sunshine, coming up the ramp and slide onto conveyor belt!

You leisurely stroll over. “Who does this guy think he is?” people are thinking, as you politely say “excuse me”, grab your suitcase, and wheel it away like royalty.

Love the weight, size and strength.
    Glides easily across floors.
Two good handles to lift into/out of the car.

A second handle at the vertical side would be useful.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love these American Tourister suitcases. They are really light, very manoeuvrable and of great quality. The expandable zip is convenient for any additional volume. I already have the larger size, and they have proven very robust.

Having not had to purchase a new case for the best part of 20 years I was a little surprised about the cost of cases these days. After a good bit of looking around on Amazon I came across this case. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive by any stretch.
My last case of 20 years, (although still going) due to the very extensive use it has had and the battle scars it has gained, it needed to be replaced. Sadly I cannot find a trace of the manufacture to buy another so opted for the American Tourister this time.
It is a light and nimble case and has the space it describes. I opted for this size as it is just big enough to fit my laptop still in it’s bag inside along with a couple of nights away worth of clothes. For me this means I can still have my normal laptop bag with me but do not need to carry it all the time as can wheel it around inside of the case.
It has had a couple of trips around the conveyor belt and been up and down a few pavements and no issues so far. It seems to be very well made and hopefully it will be at least half as good as my old case.

    A really good case

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEven though the suitcase was great the red was more of a pink and therefore I had to return this suitcase. I found some difficulties returning the suitcase due to it’s size and not getting the option to return via the post office. The seller was great and offered to pay the postage for the return via the post office

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersEasy to wheel around, lots of room, expandable as well. Survived trip to US easily. Great colour easy to spot, but i do add additional strap for visibility.

    Great suitcase

It’s very cute and does the job. When it is full and heavy it is not very steady I feel.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersDropped a star because
    1) It has no side handle, making it hard to manoeuvre when stowing in overhead locker/taking upstairs
    2) The locking mechanism is poorly explained and caused me some anxiety
    3) The handle, although easy to adjust to required height from 2 positions, retracts unexpectedly whilst in use

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI travel a lot for work and my personal life. I have used this suitcase on long haul flights (9+ Hours) short flights (1 hour) and for long car trips. I think it does exactly what it says it will. I wanted to buy extremely expensive luggage from Away but they increased the price and never had stock. I then thought well if it might get damaged either way I may as well go for something cheaper. I got the full set of three but I have used the smallest the most often. I use it as hand luggage and its really easy to get in and out of and fits loads in it. You get exactly what you pay for in my opinion.
Also I bought it in yellow, which I adore…

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersSo far loving this case – it’s been on a couple of trips abroad with me and has held up well. It’s light, there’s lots of room inside and looks great when it comes off the belt. At first I was hesitant to spend so much, but I’m hoping it will be worth it in the longrun and last me for your years. Manoverability is brilliant, my only concern is that I worry the straps may break if the weight of the bag is too much, but so far has dealt well with weights up to about 25kg.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have been traveling carry on only for the past few years . This is the perfect suitcase for use as a carry on . As it extends it means that you have room for the shopping you did on your trip. That is only for bigger airlines . The the budget airlines as long as you don’t extend it , it is absolutely fine ( used it on British airways , American Airlines , Wizz air, Ryanair, blue air and virgin )

Bought one of each size of this AT suitcase for a long haul family holiday. All survived with just minor scuff marks to take off the shiny new look. The small cabin size fitted perfectly above the BA seat on A380. The only problem is which colour to buy!

Great value, lightweight so it’s not taken up too much of luggage allowance and can be easily seen at the airport.
Slight delivery issue as was delivered to a different address and I wasn’t sent any notification.

I wish I can give it 5 stars but I found it gets scratches easily, some of them when traveling to the airport by car and more happened at the airport, anyway i like this product but it’s a little pricey

Lightweight, well designed, resiliet. I suggest to also buy a luggage cover if you are checking it in, because that lovely bright yellow WILL get dirty. Less risk of dirt as a cabin luggage.

Very lightweight but still feels sturdy and up to the challenges of travel.
Bright and highly visible and somewhat unique in design so it’s ideal for busy airports and spotting your case early

Great suitcase with wheels! Arrived well packaged and as light as a feather. Suitcase was divided into 2 sections and managed to fit plenty. Coming back from trip, expanded case and put in a lot more. Luckily didn’t make case overweight. Really easy to use and am thinking of purchasing the bigger case for longer trips. Extremely sturdy. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI do love the soundbox suitcases from American Tourister, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

The main reason is that I’ve never used a suitcase so easy to push/pull around. Such little effort exerted compared to others.

Light weight and good storage capacity, could maybe have an extra pocket or two to help separate items. And with the majority of suitcases, have the bars for the handles at the edges so you don’t get that bump in the middle.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy pull along, quite old, few days away case had broken so I looked online to replace. I just loved the vibrant colour of this case and It’s quirky stylishness. Yes there were cheaper cases but this one took my eye so i’ve given it 5 stars for value as to me it’s worth paying a bit extra for something you really like. I chose the medium size 3.7kg one and the wheels move as they should and the case arrived well packed and in pristine condition. There is also loads of compartments to separate things which is really useful. I don’t know how the suitcase would fare being loaded into the hold of a plane as it maybe a bit flimsy compared to a ‘soft shell’ faux leather case but I borrow an old battered suitcase from a friend when I go long haul anyway. I think for putting in the boot of a car it would be fine and if airfares and flights are limited and too expensive post Covid-19 lockdown that’s what I’ll be doing.

Lovely case and exciting to receive a parcel in Lockdown, highlight of my day 🌞

Very happy with this so far, not sure how long the wheels will last but it is light and fits overhead so no need to pay under unless of course you are traveling with Ryanai
