When first searching I was shown numerous SkullShavers and similar types, but I have never had a great experience with that design of shaver.
After a while a came across this as it was advertised towards Salon and Barbershop workers.
I find the closeness of cut is clean enough to rival anything short of using an actual razor.
Surprising easy to clean and good battery life.
If you let your hair grow out it will struggle so I would advise not using this on more than 3 days growth.
My barber used this foil shaver. I was so impressed. So I bought one even though they are expensive. Then this happened, see photos. I will order another one though. Maybe faulty in production.
So far I’ve shaved my head 3 times with this and it’s still in beast mode. Really excellent job. I really rate this product.

You have to keep on top of cutting your hair every 5 days max, But it cuts that close it feels like a Sphynx cat. I’ve tried all sorts but this is by far the bes
Plug adapters for all, it may of had it in the description but I can’t read to good so I may of not seen it. But it’s exactly what I needed and dose what it says on the box.
My hairdresser been using this for a year and it actually shave it better then razor. It’s also also holds a good charge. It’s also very portable and easy to clean. Definitely good value for money. Recommend 100%
Bought this as a fathers day present and i couldn’t be happier with how much he loves this! He uses this for his head and still hasn’t stopped telling me how amazingly close it shaves and that its the best A professional piece of kit for an amazing price!
Life is too short! I am 52 and have had various electric shavers over the years. My last “good” shaver was a Remington that I had for about 15 years – was disappointed when battery went on it and it could only be used corded. Over past few years have experimented with other brands (wahl, braun etc) but been very disappointed and nothing has provided as quick and close a shave as the old Remington. Cracking shaver. Very fast powerful motor, super sharp and clears stubble well. It is aggressive but only if you press hard so don’t as it does the job perfectly well. Barbers use these to bald out a skin fade. Just a top piece of kit and the spares are well priced too. Highly recommend and wish I’d have bought one sooner.
This product is easy to use, it charges quite fast and it is easy to clean. It comes from Netherlands, but they will send you and adaptor for UK power socket. I am using it for shaving my head and my beard. It does a pretty good job, altough you must trimm your hair ( 1 mm) before starting using it.
Great little shaver. Brought for my head, does a great job at balding but foils seem to wear quickly. Easy to use, charge and clean. Not entirely sure if it’s sole purpose. Probably better for gentle hair not strong hair.
This product came highly recommend from my barber and I have never looked back. Simple to use and effective. Rechargeable battery holds charge for a long time in between hair cuts. One thing to note is that you have to use clippers to shorten hair before using foils to get the best out of the product.
Very good shaver. Doesn’t leave much irritation to the skin only after long use. The battery is extremely good. It seems to hold its charge for ages! Doesn’t hurt and came undamaged on delivery. I had this recommended to me via my barber and it’s helped me look tidy between visits. Only downside is that it doesn’t like certain length hair as it glides past it rather than cutting it.
Brilliant product but very frustrating with the build quality. I’m on my 3rd one in less than a year. The first one the socket that you push the charger in push into the unit so you can’t charge it anymore. The 2nd one the battery has failed so now only works when plugged in. So hopefully the 3rd one will be better.
During a chance visit to a barbers I was bemoaning my latest shaver and the barber showed me the Andis TS-1 and even demonstrated its shaving ability. I decided to cut my losses and ordered one. What a delight! The first impression is that it is rather cheap and plasticy but that belies its shaving ability. I can now get a really close shave in just 2-3 minutes. Great little shaver! It doesn’t have the ergonomic finesse of a Remington but I’m happy to forego that in exchange for a quick, close shave.
Have been using since May 2019 – gives a very close shave. Bit fiddly to clean, which I do after every shave, but worth the effort. Important to hold the shvaer at the correct angle and not press too hard. Have used many different types and makes of electric shavers over the years but this is the best one I have ever had.
I’ve had this model used on me at barber shops, always seemed pretty classy, so I received it, charged it, and it shaved my head and face well, I used it four times and it won’t work. I’ve ordered a replacement so hopefully the next one won’t have any issues. If it works, it’s fantastic
This product is amazing, I purchased it as I’ve seen countless barbers using it. Figured if it was good for them it was good enough for me to use. I see a lot of people complaining about the foil. It’s worth noting the foil needs to be replaced just like a blade on a razor. It should be seen as a consumable.
Also worth noting that the shaver should be used on already shaved heads as a finisher or balder and not a substitute to cutting your hair.
However ,some advice on maintenance . Bearing in mind that this razor gives such a close shave ,I would strongly advise that the foil head be removed and cleaned ,and the cutters cleaned after every use. This should be done by thoroughly brushing the cutters between each minute blade by making sure that all the fine particles of hair and dead skin cells are reremoved .Bush between ,not across the blades . If this debris is not removed ,it will attract air born bacteria that will feed off it . Being living organisms , they will excrete ,and their excretions will corrode and dull the cutters. This probably explains why the manufactures recommend renewng the cutters and foil every six months , because barbers will not feel that they have time to do such a complete cleaning after each use .Better still ,after cleaning ,about once a month or so , switch on the razor and dip the head and foil of it into a dish of blade wash . This really will clean the cutters , bringing them up like new . I think such regular maintenance will give this product a very long life .
Being a long time rocker of a shaved head, I’ve always used razors, though I’ve recently got fed up using them.
Was skeptical about electric shavers and how close they could shave, surely you cannot get better than a razor?

Quiet, quick to cut, and sturdy unit. Definitely happy I took the plunge on this.
Cuts well, but the foil broke within ten days, which was disappointing, especially as a replacement is 20+. By the way, shop around for replacement foils – the price varies widely.
In the box was a charging lead with slot-in adaptors for various types of mains sockets. For the UK there is a standard 3-pin adaptor as well as a Euro 2-pin shaver adaptor. As the shaver can be used corded from the mains as well as from its li-ion battery this offers more than enough flexibility for me.
I’ve just shaved my head with the Andis for the first time. I’m impressed. In about a third of the time it usually takes me my head is completely smooth – no matter which direction I run my hands. This without any irritation to my scalp.

I am shaving my head bald for almost 10 year now, and I have used every type of shaver that is on the market right now, so when I stumbled upon this one, it didn’t standout in any way, except that gold looking foil. I thought it’s just another foil shaver, but since my old Panasonic ES-RF31 needed a new cutting head and foil replacement (these cost more than a half of a brand new shaver) I decided to give it a try.
So I am writing this review right after my first shave — this is how excited I am right now. It’s awesome! Clean shave with the first pass, it’s gentle, not too loud and the skin feels smooth and silky. Would definitely buy another one!
I wanted to buy an electric shaver for a long time and I was looking for a hypoallergenic one. In the end I chose Andis TS-1 Gold Titanium Foil Shaver and I have to say I am really happy with my purchase. I’ve got sensitive skin and this product does a good job and produces a very close shave. It is also very easy to clean and mantain.
