This cable arrived with Prime next day delivery. It is sturdy enough and a great length.

I always buy Anker products now due to their amazing customer service, if you have any problems and contact they, they are friendly, polite and offer an excellent service to their customers.

My old charger broke, and after purchasing 3 different makes that wouldn’t work with my phone I purchased this one, it looks and feels very robust, I’ve only had it a few days but I think it’s going to last a while.
    We’ll done anke

Anker is the leader in the area of home electronics and this Lightning charging cable is no exception. It is well bult, tested in to the ground and will give me many years of solid service! MD

The problem with these leads is the fact that bulk around the ‘lightning’ plug is so great, it won’t go through the hole in my iPhones protective case. I had three options: 1. File the plug smaller, 2. File the hole in the case larger, 3. Send it back. I filed the hole in the case larger and did a decent job of it but I doubt if most people would be able to do that satisfactorily.
They seem durable but only time can testify to that. On the whole, I’m very satisfied.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPros: seems to charge well. Thick cable seems strong

Cons: thick cable is very inflexible. Doesn’t lie flat on desk, coils up and sticks up 6 inches above desk sometimes. Looks very messy. Seems like you could bend and mould this to the shape you want and it would keep that shape when you let go. I don’t need a cable this thick and strong, I’m not using it as a tow rope. The only places that need strength are around the end areas where it meets the plugs, that’s where cables always break. Would be better to improve strain relief there than make whole cable thick and inflexible. Lightning plug is slightly chunky and might not fit with some phone cases. Difficult to rate durability etc when I’ve only had it a few weeks, will try and remember to update late

I’ve noticed straight away that the cable is thicker than the official Apple cable that came with the phone.
I mainly charge my phone at home, with the USB port at my desk, and put away when not used. So I’d rather preferred normal thickness one as they are easier to handle and take up less space (bought 6ft/180cm white).
But if you prefer a sturdy cable that is less likely to get bent and therefore damaged, then this is probably a good choice.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOrdered this end of May, it has been frayed where the cable cover has come away from the end for a couple of months or so. I’ve already contacted Anker once mid Sept towel then aware and was told they’d send a new cable out but I’ve still not received this and it’s now 21 October. Really disappointed as the reason I bought an Anker cable is I’ve had really decent ones that have lasted in the past and I’ve read good reviews about good customer service in the past

Update: following my review anker contacted me and I have now received a replacement cable so I’ve upped my rating to 4/5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ok but requested replacement and it’s still not arrived

Very good charger at a good price from a reliable company. Good length however with this comes a cost of durability. I had 3 of these chargers as the first broke, and I immediately emailed the Anker customer response team and they promptly sent me a replacement which again broke and they did the same, after that one broke I gave up, however I can not fault the anker team and the warranty you get with this item.
They all broke in the same way, with the lightning connecter snapping from the cord.

Overall, buy at your own risk, I may have just received fault products.

I first bought this cable in 2016 and it was my only charging cable at the time so i used it all the time (so did all of my housemates and anyone visiting) and I took it everywhere I went. It lasted me 2.5 years of very heavy use. In 2018 it finally decided to pack it in, so I bought a new one and once again it was my only cable and so was also worked very hard. At the start of 2021 another 2.5 years of solid service it also finally gave up. When I came to buy a new one I noticed that it said lifetime guarantee so I went on the anker website to claim the warranty. I had all the original purchase details and the cable details. Within one week I was sent a brand new replacement totally free of charge. The customer service team have also since reached out to make sure that the new one was working well.

Considering I payed 8 in 2018 for a cable that lasted me almost 3 years and now I have a new one (based on experience should last me another 3 years) I think that is excellent. Apple cables are double the price and previously lasted me less than a year. You can buy cheap 1 cables (which i also did for a while before anker) but those would barely last me a few months and I probably ended up spending well over 8. Extremely fair price (price of one cocktail in most cities and lasts a lot longer), highly durable and the customer service is excellent. I do treat my things quite well but my cables are worked quite hard. Based on the experience I’ve had so far with Anker I would recommend them to anyone and probably only use them from now on.

Their products are amazingly long lasting. I think I have first seen Anker’s durable phone cases (Haven’t bought any). Then without knowing that it is the same company, I bought a 5 in 1 USB charger for making a charger for the 3D printed laptop I made. While I was trying to assemble, I short circuited one port and it stopped working. Few days later it started working again. Then I realised Anker installed a short circuit protection to the charger and when I unplug and plug the charger, its fuse resets. Then I was so sick of original Apple cables braking all the time, I bought a powerline 2 for my whole family because it was cheaper and had a lifetime warranty. I also bought a USB-C for my phone. Two of them stopped working for heavy usages, like accidentally compressing the charger between the wall and the sofa. They replaced it for free, very quickly (They were also friendly). Then we bought a robot vacuum cleaner Eufy because of its high power and cheap price, we were about to open the box when we learned that it doesn’t have mapping and we said the mapping ones are very expensive, so we decided to go on with Eufy. We are using it for a large house and we have never regretted opening that box. (Also, I loved the friendly cartoons in the box, cat being friend with the robot and baby using it to carry toys.) Now, I wanted to buy a USB hub, and I searched, “USB hub Anker”. Why, because I know it would be durable, I know I won’t regret. If I ever have a problem, I know there is their friendly customer service. I ordered. Now, my brother needs a phone case. I know where to look.

hink this is probably one of the best designed cables I have used, I now use them for all my charging needs.

The cable comes with rubberised ends which are easy to grip but still small enough to allow cables to be connected next to each other in a malty charger or usb hub.

The cables are very durable, I have never had one fail, except in 2 cases which I will now explain. First I would like to point out that I do not think that either of these breakages were a fault of the cable, but more a design to protect the connected item.
    1. When a charging iPad was dropped on the connecter the end broke from the rest of the plug. There was enough to pull it out the iPad. The socket on the iPad was not damaged at all, and worked perfectly till today.
    2. In my car, I had one of these connected in the rear console and it had a heavy item dropped on it. the connecter bent but I was still able to remove it without damaging the in-car connecter.

Hear I would like to clarify what I mean by designed to brake. In both cases if the connecter didn’t brake I would almost definably have damaged the iPad connecter and the socket in the car which would have cost a lot to replace.

A quick comparison to the original apple cable, first they are slightly larger in the connecter, but I have never seen this to be a problem. On a more positive note, I have had to replace many original cables, which have broken in less than 3 months with being used every day. In comparison, the Anker cables have been used for years daily without any sign of problems.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIn truth, there isn’t a great deal you can write about a cable.

This is white. 1.8m in length. Has a USB connector at one end and a Lighting connector at the other. It is sturdy, well made and durable.

It offers additional protection at the parts of the cable that will experience the most wear and tear, the parts just below the connectors. In other cables and leads I have purcahsed these are the two areas where wear is most noticeable and the areas that eventually leads to the wires becoming exposed even broken. Anker have factored this into their design.

The cable is made for Apple products that use a Lighting connector. It also states that it offers faster charging with industry-leading technology built in. I have noticed my phone does appear to charge quicker!

Anker products are MFI certified. So at least you won’t see that message appear on your Apple screen that basically says you’ve just wasted your money.

When you buy a cable you expect it to do two things 1) work and 2) have some longevity. That hasn’t always been the case UNTIL I discovered Anker cables.

Buying an Anker product also ensures you’re purchasing total confidence in your product. Anker demand nothing less than total satisfaction form all their products.

So confident are Anker in this PowerLine II Llighting cable’s durability that they offer a Lifetime Warranty (Conditions apply).

Anker offers brilliantly made quality products at affordable prices. Since buying my first Anker cables some four years ago, I instantly became a convert and not just for cables but for their phone cases, screen guards, chargers and Power Core portable charging packs, I can safely say I have never been disappointed in any product purchased.

To ensure that they offer total satisfaction to their customers, they offer an unrivalled level of customer care and support. They genuinely care that your experience of their products is the best possible.

When you purchase an Anker product you are purchasing quality and durability at an affordable price.

Anker products are definitely worth exploring, in my opinion.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have now anker solar panels, power battery, USB plug, charging cable *.
…and for each item needing or giving charge
So because of this so nothing gets mixed up I have different colours for different items
That’s why I paid a 1 more for blue charging cable
As for the cable itself wow does it feelike the ultimate cable. If it’s possible it’s even more sturdier than the powerline +

We all charging cable is the biggest legal scam going.
Millions of traders getting rich on the back of the Apple charging cable
…as they don’t last breaks easily even making sure only using one side

Even itself haven’t sturdy cable so have to keep buying theirs too
Yea I like buying brand names things at times but it’s way way too expensive as quality so bad

Not so anker: sturdy, practical, looks good, charges great *. *.

Cheaper than any than any other cable.
I don’t mean they are the cheapest as we all you can get a cable or 2 for 98p
No I mean cheap or cheaper purely as the cable is good

I used to say the best one is another company whose always leading on the best apple charging cable, purely because they gaursntee for life and anker 18 months

This was fine by me like renewing after s couple years if looking shabby

    BUT THEN ANKER…

…brought out this powerline II cable which has a a LIFETIME guarantee!

To me they are the top of the list

Never ever go back to 99p cheapies or apple or juice or any of the thousands Ive tried

Hubby doesn’t understand what the hype is as he hardly uses his phone so doesn’t need to charge often like I do, using my phone for anything a pc/laptop/tablet
…but then he said that about the iphone but I just got him an older iphone, iPhone 6 he’s reluctantly coming back round to technology (he used to build pcs programmed pcs like me then he went off them)

I’m absolutely certain you wont go back once you tried an anke
