I have a very damp house so bought these to help with the damp. Too early to tell if they are working yet but I have had something similar before and they have been ok.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI am posting this review in 2024 because I started using these dehumidifier containers in 2021 and still buy them solely from Amazon.

The aluminium sheet at the top is easy to peel off and the whole unit is easy to use. I have several dotted about the house. Note that it can take a few weeks for an amount of water to drain into the container through the salts. So, do not think that it is not working. It is but slowly. One thing that I like is that the water can fill the entire container. So, no need to throw a unit away when it is only half-full.

They are reasonably priced and, in the last few years, there has been a moderate, rather than vertiginous, price increase. Recommended. 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis product is very good, it is easy to use and does exactly what it says.
The wardrobe hanging ones are also excellent.
They absorb a lot of water which stops damp and mould forming.
So pleased I was recommended these.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI’ve placed several of these in the most humid areas of my house, and they’ve collected a surprising amount of water in just a few days. They’re easy to set up—simply remove the top blue layer and the foil, leaving the white mesh exposed to do the rest. These work well in small spaces like bathrooms and can be easily hidden, though hiding them too much might affect their effectiveness. Overall, I’m very pleased with them. I have a few scattered around and will likely buy more once they’re all used up.

I have used these dehumidifiers for some time now. After a few months they are full of water that has been removed from the air in the room. Just replace them and you’re all set.

These are perfect. My bedroom window gets mouldy through the winter mainly, maybe due to thermal curtains and condensation, but not since having these! I put one at each end of the window sill. I love how you can see the water it’s absorbed. I’ve had them maybe 2 months and they’re about a 3rd full so the pack of 6 will last a good while

Like many other households we suffer from mould through out the winter months. In bathrooms, small cupboards and particularly around window sills.

Started researching dehumidifiers and tried these disposable ones for the past 10-12 weeks.

Since using in various places and nooks around the house I’ve noticed a definite decrease in the amount of mould. At the same time all the units are now full and about to be emptied/ recycled and replaced with new ones.

Hopefully as summer is on the way I’ve scrubbed away the mould with bleach and vinegar and painted with mould proof paint. Hopefully the combination of these and preventative treatment will keep the mould at bay.

Well worth trying as a simple and cost effective solution. I’d use 2 in bathrooms and rooms where the laundry is left to dry (or more).

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and effective against mould/humidity

I received the delivery on 19/02. Put them in my wardrobe and by the windows where condensation is immediately. For the first 3 weeks, the boxes were the same as they were when I put them out. Haven’t checked them in a while and I am writing this review on 20/3 and the product actually works! There is a significant amount of water accumulated. Maybe this is a great product which takes time to work or activate, or just my apartment isn’t as humid as I thought it is. But the condensation around the window has definitely been reduced. Would recommend this if you don’t wanna buy a dehumidifier like me.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersUPDATE after 2 months: I edited my review because I gave it another chance during Spring and it worked. The beads started turning into water at the bottom. I think it’s just useless during winter. But yes, they work well now. I’ll be buying again as it’s cheap and I don’t want mold. During winter, better to use other brands.

Doesn’t work. The dessicant just clumped together with no water collected at the bottom. Not buying again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

Good value box, easy to use. It took a while for me to notice that they had started working but they are effective at taking moisture out of the room

I use these to keep moisture away from electronics and other damp sensitive items during extended periods of storage. Popping one of these in a drawer or a cupboard and checking up on how much water they have collected is quick, easy, silent, energy free and inexpensive way to protect items from damp.

    100% recommended

I have used this product a few times now and do believe it has a positive effect on damp in my cellar and bathroom.I don’t believe it is a permanent solution but I’m confident it helps.I would recommend this product and the seller.

Daughter uses these in her room at university after having issues with mould and needing to throw out trainers and other items. Once she started using these no more issues. Even after being away on holiday for 4 weeks and worried she would have issues – her room was fine but the containers full of water. Job done. Definitely worth it.

Our home suffers from condensation so these are good dotted around the house to pick up some of that excess water. Not as effective as a proper dehumidifier but I don’t like to run that all day.

I use these in my micro-camper. I keep one under the bed, next to my power station. Absolutely essential if you are anywhere with high humidity, and it is full of water within about a month.
They are quite tiny, so are ideal for use in very small spaces. For larger campers, or for home use, larger versions exist, and would be more practical.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI own a soft-top convertible car and when it was parked outside during wet or humid weather for a protracted period of time, I noticed mildew forming on the inside of the roof. Horrors! After wiping this off, I decided to try one of my neighbour’s Ansio Dehumidifiers, since she uses them in one of her wardrobes, which occasionally becomes damp. It worked brilliantly and I was staggered at just how much water vapour was present inside my car, either during wet weather or when it was hot and humid. I now buy them regularly and have had no further problems with my car roof. Exceptionally efficient and if you purchase the larger packs, good value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like these cos they’re so easy to use, you just pull the silver lid off. I love them coming in bulk because they’re easy to store and it means I’ve enough for any rooms at home that don’t get much use, kids have left home. They smell nice

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersMy flat is damp and I heard about these pots to help with it.

I left them in various places throughout the flat. They are small enough so that they don’t stick out.

Over time, when I threw them away they were completely full of water, which is all I needed to know that they worked.

I also had dehumidifiers running in the flat. I never did a comparison between the costs and effectiveness of each.

But if you haven’t got dehumidifiers and you aren’t in a position to run them frequently then these pots are a great alternative and effective.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have bought these before and although they do the job, this time the foil tops were hard to get off and if the white underneath part is ripped the humidifier isn’t any good . Out of the five I opened this happened to one. Quality seems to have dipped a little
