Got this to see where mice might be coming into the house. The motion tracker helped spot a gap in a door which we filled. Quality is good and it has a long battery life. Highly recommend
Great image quality, comes with a hard/flexible USB cable to keep it connected to power supply and also be used as support.
It also have a magnetic support which works very well.
I ordered this camera to watch my dog when we are out of the house. I have been using it for 3 weeks an so far very impressed with it. Super small size makes it easy to hide and the image quality is splendid (very clear image and sound). It was so simple to setup (home WiFi enabled) the security camera and the app. Overall it is an excellent value for money. Highly recommended
This is worth the 29 for sure. I’ve stuck an old 32gb card in and it records direct to it.
It’s very basic but it does the job I bought it for holiday at the airbnb just wanted to make sure no one was coming into the villa.
Battery lasts only 4/5 hours so ideally, you need to keep it plugged into the mains to let it run all the time.
Would buy again only had it a month but used it for a week on holiday no issues with wifi or connecting to it via 4g over 20 miles away.
This camera is impressively small and easy to hide. It blends seamlessly into any environment. Setting up the camera was a breeze. The companion app simplifies the connection process, and I had it up and running in no time.
The night vision capability is outstanding. It provides clear visuals even in complete darkness.

UPDATE: last 2 days camera offline. Lost some of the connectivity options on the App to restore. Manual doesn’t explain all the options or offer troubleshoot. Probably why they push online support. Deleted the App to reinstall & to be honest having found it tricky to connect in the first place I couldn’t bare to go through it all over again. Will be returning.
I have to I was super impressed with this. For the price it’s amazing. Really easy to set up. Very good quality and so small. Great app with lots of settings. Will buy another now.
Does exactly what was said, and great quality picture recap. Only just bought, so need a few weeks to really decipher the longevity but so far so good. Will update this review in the future if any faults. But 5* from me
Great quality camera, so easy to hide! Set it up when I had someone dog sitting to make sure they were respectful of my house. Battery life was great, easy to use and play back to check everything! Gonna get another one for my bedroom as well

This Aobo mini camera is very easy to setup, it connected within a few seconds to my wifi and was online using my iPhone via the app within a couple of minutes. Picture quality in both modes is very clear and I especially like the ability to set motion zones so that wind movement of bushes or plants does not trigger an alarm or recording. The box is smart and very good quality, everything inside is very professionally packaged and I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. Simple to use and highly recommended.
Arrived well packed. Instructions are straightforward, as non-tech person, I found it easy to set up, connect to wifi and watch in realtime on my laptop. I have yet to try out its night vision but I will definately purchase again.

I bought this upon reading the reviews. I was very skeptical at first. Because of previous cameras I’ve bought failed to give that perfect picture and sound quality you’d expect from other manufacturers. But this is far the best camera I’ve ever bought considering it’s size for what is expected quality camera and sound and battery life. I highly recommend this product.
It’s small and neat with easy controls. The build quality is good. It was easy to follow the instructions in the user guide and I was connected within 5 mins. The battery life does seem very good and it charged to 100% (from 65%) within 2 hours.
Just arrived today and it was so simple to set up it took about 5 minutes. The picture quality is really good I’m just waiting to see what the night vision is like but so far so good
This arrived quickly and is a great little camera.
Very easy to charge, setup App and use.
I use it to watch my dog, while I’m out, but its small size makes it very good to use covertly.

Easy to set up although putting password in to use every time is a pain. Quite large but sturdy quality. Picture quality is good and battery life just about acceptable
Pro’s:
– good packaging
– decent user manual
– Very small at just over an inch cubed
– Easy (2 button layout) on/off, reset
– Pretty good app, better than some others i have used.
– BIG PLUS. Selectable ‘zones’ (stuff i have only seen on expensive camera’s. Y-CAM etc).
– Actual night vision that does seem to work. (Tested to around 30ft indoors (NOTE: It pointing out of a window, you’ll get IR glare, as really needs to be in front of the glass due to IR reflection)
– Selectable (via App) sensitivity – low mid high, which actually works)
– instant alerts if anything crosses the focal path.
– loop recording (I’m using a class 10 micro SD card
– Ability to turn of the blue LED on the back
– Ability to turn on/off the inbuilt mic in case you want to hear who’s robbing your house
– App allows you to add an additional 3 cameras so you can use the ‘4 zone’ function (view all 4 camera’s on 1 screen!)
Con’s:
– Setup can be a little tricky (see the guide included with the kit), and i you want to monitor the camera on more than 1 device it can be a little problematic, as it sometimes doesn’t like 2 separate users logging in at the same time.
– When you receive an alert and open, it only shows a static picture of whatever the camera detected so you need to (in the app) go to the life feed. I think it would be better if it straight to the camera live feed (but also dumping the ‘alert’ picture straight to the memory card.
– if the camera is switched off, it can be a little fiddly to reconnect it.
– defaults to standard resolution, so you need to re-select ‘UHD’ each time
– If in the UK, you need to select PAL in the app (not sure what difference this makes though)
All in all, a HUGE improvement over the previous model, and Iml pretty impressed, especially at this price

Haven’t tested the night vision but the day time is good enough. Brought for the camper so I can make sure my Dog is ok. Easy to set up for mobile live viewing, long as you have a good 4G signal it works well.
The camera is good the set up is easy only problem is the battery is rubbish there no motion down where it is so the battery shouldn’t have gone that quick it’s only been up 2 hours it was on 82% now it’s on 31% it’s not great for battery but pic is good
The app was easy to install; however, I had some difficulty connecting to my network. The QR code displayed on my phone was not being picked up by the camera, but I found a solution by using a hotspot instead. The instruction manual was a bit challenging to read due to its size, but the support team were exceptional in quickly resolving my minor issues. They provided concise and clear instructions, along with a helpful video.
I was also provided with a link to another app that I can use on my computer to view the live screen and perform other functions, such as mute the mic, take individual shots or record video, which suits me better than using my phone.
To run 24/7 I use the camera with a power pack, so I cannot comment on its battery life. However, I can confirm that it has lasted a continuous 30 hours with the power pack still at 68%.
One thing that is not covered by any of the reviews is the build quality, but then again they were probably not written by a clutz like myself! Whilst fitting it to an overhead door I dropped the camera, luckily it fell onto the front doormat and no damage was done. BUT then when I tried getting an overhead view from my second-floor bedroom window it fell directly onto the concrete below and bounced onto the lawn. As the camera is made from plastic and has delicate parts inside, I feared the worst when I rushed downstairs, I was relieved to find that the camera was still working fine and didn’t even have a mark on it. The picture was now red instead of rgb but after a quick reset I once again had full rgb and it is working perfectly. I think this tale attests to the build quality, just don’t try this at home…
Overall, the A18 is a very good, well-made camera at a reasonable price. I would suggest including full-colour night vision and two-way audio in the next model, that would make it perfect. Additionally, a larger manual would be helpful. I would buy that new version straight away.
I’m so happy I did as it looks like they have taken an already good camera and made it a really great camera by updating just about everything in it. The first thing I liked about it straight away is the stand (or mount) that it comes with. That is a thinner more versatile stand which allows it a lot more movement and different angles that you can have it at and it also looks a lot better in my opinion.
Althought the battery says it’s over a lower capacity, which is now 1400mAh, instead of 1500mAh, you get more life out if it. They must be using a newer technology or a different type of battery in it as previously I got about 5.5 hours out of it before I had to recharge, but this one I got near enough the 8 hours they have quoted in their ad.
In the review I did for the other camera I mentioned that although the night vision was good the range was a bit limited, which is what you would expect from these small cameras. However on this one you can see a lot further in the dark. I’ve only tested it indoors and now I can see all the way to the end of my room whereas previously I was seeing just over half way.
Two of the main areas where people would always want improvment are video and sound quality. Again it looks like they have taken this another level up because the videos I have recorded using this appear a lot sharper, and richer in colour, with excellent sound when playing it back. As both cameras use the same app to view the footage it makes it a lot easier to view and manage your cameras. I really am that impressed with this little camera because the quality and features you get for the price are definitley worth it, and I am already consdidering buying a 3rd AOBOCAM.
