I only recently received this product, but it was purchased as a ‘back up’ for the exact same swim goggles that I have been using for a few years and I am quite pleased with those, thus the ‘repurchase’ of the same one ‘con’ that I have with these swim goggles is that they seem to lose some clarity over years of use despite my best efforts in following manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning/maintenance

Great goggles. Very comfortable and seal well without being too tight. Good field of vision. They remain reasonably comfortable for my swim session usually around 90 mins. They last ages.

The fit of goggles can be personal. These goggles fit me particularly well. I have used this pair, and other similar Kayenne models, in the pool, in the lake and in the sea. They last a long time, and fit securely and comfortably. This particular model has a smoked lens, so was less suitable for swimming outside at night – the lens works well in the pool, or outdoor during daylight hours..

Really like these goggles. They are anti fog and don’t leak. The suction is excellent and they don’t leave a mark around the eyes as some others do. Very comfortable and would recommend

Have tried so many goggles. They always cause discomfort pushing into the bridge of my nose. These still just about touch but don’t cause any discomfort. The strap adjustment gizmo is great too. Will never buy speedos again.

Problem is the anti-fog, which worked great on the first swim but lost its purpose in the second swim. Might be the excessive chlorine during covid times.

Works fine with anti fog spray. But remember to rinse before wearing.

My father in law, now in his 80’s, who swims every day reckons these are the best goggles he’s ever had! As a former club swimming coach, who’s had more goggles than he cares to remember, this is praise indeed!

Li consiglio senza riserve!

I have recently taken up open water swimming and after a lot of research chose these goggles. I liked the fact that they were polarised and had a darkened lens so I wouldn’t be blinded by the sun. They are comfortable and generally leakproof, although after a while one eye does get a trickle of water come in. The darkened lens works well and I love the polarisation. I also use them for pool swimming. Considering the problems I have had in the past getting goggles to fit me I am very pleased with these and I am happy to recommend them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for open water swimming

Good comfortable fit and visibility for open water lake swimming. Polarised lenses help reduce glare. Anti fog lasted one swim, but to be fair that seems to be fairly standard at this price point. No detectable leakage in use. Wide field of view makes spotting buoys or shore targets easy in open water. Good value for the price.

THE BEST goggles I have owned. I have been on the hunt for a pair of goggles for some time. I’ve tried arena mask, phelps own mask and a pit of smaller arena pool type goggles. None have been great. I purchased these being the most expensive of all but wow… so good! The fir is so good. The runner is premium and they stretch accross your face to create a perfect fit! The lenses are so great. Very clear and the glare is completely removed. Would buy again 1000 times and having swam in the lake today for 1600m I’m looking forward to testing in the pool. Just spot o

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat goggles. These are a step up in price from those I’ve used in the past but well worth it. I swim in the sea and these goggles give a really wide clear view. The polarised lenses do a good job in cutting down reflections and glare. I found I needed to experiment with tightness to get a leak free fit but this is easy to do with the one touch locking buttons. They haven’t steamed up as yet but the instructions warn you not to clean the inside so I wonder how long the coating will last. I’ll update in a couple of months. All in all I’m really pleased with them.

I did not find them as leakproof or anti mist as I expected. Now that I have used them for longer and learned to wear them tighter, they are more leakproof. I have not solved the misting up except to periodically allow water in to wash away the misting. But that would be tricky to do in a race (which does not apply to me).

These are comfy goggles, I bought them after reading reviews they could help with getting a swimmers headache due to the size and position of the cups. I really like them, except after about five times of wearing them they started fogging, fairly reliably, at about 30 lengths – so about 15/20 minutes of continued use, and then I have to clear them every two lengths, so that’s annoying! But other than that they’re good. I might have to buy some anti fog spray just!

I have been swimming for over 20 years and swam competitively in my teens. These are the best goggles I have ever owned.

I gave 3 stars for ‘suction power’ because they don’t need it! They are incredibly comfortable, have great clear vision and DON’T sucker on to your face. So no nasty red marks or headaches.

I have a very high nose bridge, so finding a decent pair of goggles that don’t leak and are comfortable is quite an ask. These are perfect.

I read some reviews about fogging up, so the first time I used them I put a small coating of shampoo and rinsed off (as I would with a diving mask.) worked a treat and didn’t fog at all.

They are comfy to wear and do not fog which was my main objective.
But sometimes my eyelashes touch the inside of the plastic when I blink which is annoying and sometimes my cheeks push the goggles up to sit too high on my eyes and the lower edge becomes uncomfortable. Possibly I need to wear them tighter so they cant move, maybe user error rather than issue with goggles. Otherwise, very happy.
Nice they come in carry case, which they easily fit back into use after use with no problem.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersHaving taken up swimming again in the last year or so, I go a few times a week with the kids and had trouble finding goggles that fitted me properly and that I could wear for long(ish) periods without them getting (too) uncomfortable and would not leak or come off when diving or jumping in or generally messing about. After trying two different pairs of (15+) Speedo affairs and some Nabaiji B-Fast’s which were supposed to be very good which were all as bad as each other I stumbled across these whilst perusing Amazon (as you do). The straps have never needed adjusting once I got them right and they have never loosened. Easily much better than all the others, really good clear and wide visibility (I went for the clear ones) and they stay on in all conditions including irresponsible diving, bombing and being shoved in by the kids. With a little saliva rubbed on the inside prior to use they have never fogged up either. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If I lost them tomorrow I would have no hesitation in buying a pair to replace them.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersDoes it make me look like a cross between Michael Phelps and Buddy Holly? Yes. Are they the clearest goggles with the most comfortable fit I’ve ever bought? Yes. That works for me. I swim a mile twice a week (not bragging, honest), they’ve not fogged a single time, they’ve not come loose, they’re crystal clear, they’re very comfortable and most importantly, they’ve never once leaked. I like that the size can be changed with a quick release button on the side, it’s very useful. Also, I find I don’t have to wear them as tight as other goggles as they virtually stick to your face without needing straps, so I don’t suffer from panda eyes after my swim.
Admittedly, they’re not the sexiest of goggles but if you’re a function over style person, these are the ones for you. If you’re one who swims once a week after the gym and only really want to flex a few times and look good in a speedo, I’d avoid these.

Well they’ve certainly upgraded swimming goggles since I last bought a pair….

I swim irregularly, and mostly indoors in lower light, so wanted some general googles to stop getting chlorine in my eyes.

The googles came in a nice little packet, delivery as always was quick.

Goggles fit nicely, easily adjusted and feel like they are decently made. Perhaps the best aspect about them is however is the visibility… wider goggle allows much better peripheral vision than older googles, without feeling like you are wearing a snorkelling mask.

The pressure on the face is also distributed nicely as well, and they haven’t fogged up or let any water in yet.

No more excuses for skipping swimming now…

Being 25 and o my just learnt how to swim. Ideas essential for me to get some good quality goggles that don’t leak, as I believed it would give me better confidence in the water. Well they did exactly that.

First time swimming with them was great. The size adjustments at the sides are effortless and easy to adjust on the fly. I haven’t experienced leakage….yet!

However I have experienced some fog which can be annoying as it becomes a little harder to see. But never fear, you can buy some spray on Amazon that coats the inside to stop exactly that.

Very happy with Aqua Sphere. Goggles. Have been buying them for last three years since my wife researched them as the best goggles around. I find the fit and seal excellent. Easy to adjust. Great wide view. Need to keep them rinsed and clean after a swim to protect them from chlorine damage and they will last. I use in the pool and for open water swimming. Have wondered if cold water affects the flecibity and quality of the seal. Designed for Italian water temperature rather than chilly English lakes.

    A great pair of goggles.

Having used Speedo goggles for decades, with varying degrees of success and failure, it is a welcome relief to find a brand that offer goggles that do exactly what you want them to do. Comparatively large lenses mean good vision, and the frame sits perfectly on my facial bone structure, rather than digging into my eye sockets!! I actually have 3 pairs of these in different configurations (for home, travel and work) and they are all brilliant. The oldest pair I own have been used a lot, over a couple of years and they are still going strong.

I also noticed that these must be nicely hydrodynamic, since they don’t offer any resistance to the water as you push through it, which I have noticed on other makes / models.

I can see clearly now, the chlorine’s gone!
Bought because I was tired of coming away from the pool with my eyes feeling like i’d just spent a couple of hours quality time in a small room full of cs gas. The back bit of the goggles that attaches to your face is soft and comfortable, plenty of adjustment to get the strap size right and I particularly liked the locking mechanism on each side which keeps the head band at the size you set it. They did let a little water in, but that was probably because my head was already wet when I put them on. They also steamed up a little, but this was cured by sticking my head in the water. All in all a good bit of kit and at 15 quid a bargain.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA great pair of goggles! They look super cool (one of the factors which swayed my purchase decision along side good reviews).

They are extremely comfy to wear (worn for 40+ minutes and no discomfort at all) and they seal works great, they let in no water at all.

The only problem I did have at first was with them steaming up really quickly at first, I prevented this by smuthering them in shampoo and lightly washing off before use – solved problem and visibility was great.

The adjustment mechanism is real good too and allows quick adjustment and secures once locked in place.

I particularly liked the storage case too. There’s small holes in the back of the case which allow wet googles to air out whilst stored safely away.

    I’d highly recommend these Googles!

4.0 out of 5 stars I would recommend these googles!

Like most reviews say, this is possibly the best answer to leaky goggles. I have often had to leave the pool in frustration as water leaked in through my googles–it is the most annoying thing ever, esp when you are a novice like me! This goggles does the job well. Not perfect, but the best I have had so far. Worn for over 25-30 minutes, it does leave deep marks and causes a bit of pain around the eyes though. But then I have this complaint about all googles I have had.

Very pleased. Never used this brand before. Switched from Zoggs. Very comfortable. Great seal – no leaks. Minimal misting of lens. Would have given 5 stars had I not experienced the issue of (lens) distortion mentioned in a few other reviews – presumably due to the flexible lenses? Despite this I will continue to use these goggles & purchase further products from this brand.
UPDATED REVIEW (after 13 months ownership/usage):
Goggles have remained pretty-much leak free. Misting remains minimal as long as the lenses are cleaned regularly (I use alcohol spray/wipes). I soon forgot about the (minor) issue of lens distortion & have now upgraded my review from 4 stars to 5. The silicone headstrap snapped several days ago after swimming on average twice a week (1 to 2 mile swims) for 13 months – ordered genuine Aqua Sphere replacement strap(s) from Mikes Diving (Portishead) 3.99 each + 2.99 standard (UK) delivery which arrived in 2 working days! Continue to recommend these Aqua Sphere goggles (& Mikes Diving!).

I was tired of my old-fashioned style goggles (the edge never sealed properly) and I had seen a lot of people at the pool in this sort of style (and, I think this exact model) and saw these were rated well. This is indeed for good reason, they fit extremely well and have not leaked once so far (in 6-7 uses), and only need a light amount of strap pressure to seal, and the strap adjuster is well-designed, you can do it in seconds and it doesn’t slip.

A few people mention vision distortion, and I do notice this, however it wasn’t serious for me, basically underwater everything is a little blurred, very slightly double. If crystal clear vision is essential to yoe then the avoid these, but it’s not a major thing, and the advantages of fit far outweigh that slight issue for me.

  33. Anonymous says:

The goggles are different than others I have had, because of the very wide, clear lens. And I have to say I like it, it lets me see very well, in the water and out of it. There is hardly a difference between having the goggles on and having them off.

The only slight issue I have is that they still seem to fog up after about 15 minutes of swimming, even though I don’t take them off and obey all the instructions given in the manual. I have had this with all the goggles I ever had, and don’t get me wrong, these goggles don’t steam up easily, even when they do it’s just a small layer of fog which disappears if I leave the goggles to the side for 2 minutes. However don’t expect them to be magically perfect when it comes to anti-fog.

Overall I really like them, they fit very well, provide great visibility and stay on very well.

These are the best goggles I have ever owned! It’s been a while (probably 15 years) since I owned any and most of them were rubbish. Even the better ones had their issues such as fogging and occasionally leaking.

UPDATE 5 years later: I’ve just bought a second pair to replace the originals which were a bit battered and losing their water tightness. New pair are brilliant. Very pleased with these.

These are just perfect. The adjustability is incredibly easy (I had them on waaaay too tight when I first tried them, having been used too awful goggles), they don’t fog up, and they don’t leak. They create a comfortable seal around your eyes and once you have mastered how tight you actually need them on, you won’t even notice they are there.

    Would recommend to anyone, definitely.

The last time I bought Goggles was in the early 80’s and in those days you spent most of your swimming time adjusting your goggles and tipping out unwanted water. After getting a injury running I decided to cross train by swimming. I purchsed these and to be honest was not expecting much. The first swim i easily adjusted these to my liking and even found i could adjust them in seconds if need be. They didnt let in water and it was over 30 lengths before i had to clear a little bit of mist in them. All in all, i was very impressed. Now all i have to do is replace my twenty year old Speedos!

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersRemember (if you are old enough) when all TVs had that boxy 4:3 format? In general, you never knew what you were missing – most of the programming made for TV was designed with that format in mind, so it was only when you were watching movies that you occasionally felt the annoyance of not seeing everything that was happening in the original format.

Well, I felt the same about swimming. The range of view with standard goggles is what I was used to and for me, being underwater meant being blinkered. Now I see the light! I LOVE these.

Very comfortable to wear, easy to adjust and they do help to reduce the “racoon-eye” effect that I get when wearing goggles (the original reason that I went for these). But best of all – what a view! I never imagined that having a better ability to see underwater would actually improve my swimming so significantly. I have now ordered Aqua Sphere goggles for the kids, as they were so jealous of my experience 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving recently taken up swimming again, I was surprised my ears collected water and looking underwater without goggles takes its toll.

I wasn’t prepared for how much I’d enjoy these and I did lots of research. The best thing is the angle of view. My wife’s Slazenger’s are good but you can see so much more with these which is useful in the swimming lanes to make sure you’re not hitting anyone overtaking or just off to your side.

Really comfy, do steam up a bit but this is more to do with our pool I think and most goggles I have used fog up anyway. They only do it when I take them of after a swim and put them back on, otherwise stay nice and clear.

Some people complain about comfort but the trick is not too tight using the straps and push them on so they are nice and snug.

Now all you have to decide is which colour. I went for non tinted as I’m using them in a public indoor pool.

The 1st time I ever bought/wore goggles to go swimming, and they’re pretty good (background – I swim 7-800m at least 4x a week)! I’ve had them a couple of months now.
They are watertight IF you put them on tight enough but unless you position them carefully they can be uncomfortable. It’s not possible for a mass-manufactured item like this to fit every contour of every face, and I often find a little water getting in the right side as a result. But it’s not a big deal; I swam today and they were watertight, so I got it right this time – it depends entirely on how well you position them. I don’t find the strap easy to adjust at all.
The underwater vision is wonderful and sharp though, and they don’t make you look like some alien creature from the deep either. These are good enough for me!
