Onboard WiFi 6E technology takes advantage of the newly available radio spectrum in the 6 GHz band. It provides up to three times the bandwidth of the 5 GHz band and up to seven 160 MHz bands to deliver ultrafast wireless networking speeds and improved capacity as well as better performance in dense wireless environments.
PCIe Slot Q-Release
A physical button located on the chipset heatsink unlocks the first PCIe slot’s security latch with one press, greatly simplifying the process of detaching a PCIe card from the motherboard when it’s time to upgrade to a new GPU or other compatible device.
Q-Latch
The innovative Q-Latch makes it easy to install or remove an M.2 SSD without the need for specific tools. The design employs a simple locking mechanism to secure the drive and neatly eliminate traditional screws.

I like the ASUS Prime X670E-Pro WiFi a lot, and I believe it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a feature-filled AM5 motherboard. It offers tons of performance, it’s beautiful and very well built, and there’s PCI Express 5.0 support everywhere you look
I got this to replace an MSI tomahawk board and I am very impressed with the “Ai” fan control, it’s much better than the MSI one (although this may also be because of the Kryosheet I am using). The bios are easy to use an you don’t have to dig in the advanced menu to enabled /disable Resizeable rebar. I did you the flash bios button on the back before first turning it on and the CL30 6000mz Ram plus the 7800x3D both worked flawlessly. Of course this only after the first week.
Das Asus Prime X670-e Pro WiFi ist ein extrem gut ausgestattetes Mainboard, das mit vielen Anschlussmglichkeiten und schnellen Verbindungen glnzen kann.
Allein die 4 M2-Schnittstellen sind schon ein Traum, ebenso die 3 USB-C Ports an der Rckseite.
Wer mal etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen will, bekommt ein wirklich top ausgestattetes Board, dass aber leider auch seine Tcken hat…
Mein erstes Board (von einem anderen Lieferanten) ging leider zurck, da sich im Betrieb mit einem der frhren Bios-Versionen scheinbar RAM und Controler nicht verstanden haben und letzterer Schaden genommen hat und nur noch einen RAM-Riegel untersttzte. Meine hier gekaufte Ersatzlieferung bekam dann eine neuere Bios-Version und luft seither mit dem gleichen RAM (Kingston Furry Beast) problemlos und stabil.
Die Bios-Version scheint der Schlssel zu sein, dieses Board gut, schnell und stabil betreiben zu knnen – die bei Produktion in 2022 (bei meinen beiden – Oktober und November) verwendeten Versionen hatten schon Probleme und waren nicht bereit fr den schnellen RAM oder gar eine AMD-X3D CPU, hier mussten also Update zwingend erfolgen. Aber wenn man erst einmal einen akutellen Stand hat, luft es wirklich gut.
Dieses Board hat keinen digitalen Audioausgang. Darauf habe ich beim Kauf leider nicht geachtet. Es befindet sich auf dem Board auch kein Stecker, an dem man einen S/P-DIF-Ausgang anschlieen knnte. Daher musste ich mir eine PCI-E-Soundkarte kaufen, um das Mainboard nicht elektrisch mit meinem Vorverstrker/DAC verbinden zu mssen. Beim Anschlu ber den analogen Ausgang des Boards kamen leider immer laut zischelnde und knisternde Strgerusche aus den Lautsprechern.
Ansonsten ist das Board OK.
Ich hatte vorher ein M5A99X EVO, da liegen Welten dazwischen.
Alles funktionierte auf Anhieb, alle 3 M2 Samsung SSD wurden sofort erkannt.
Keine Probleme mit der Grafikarte (Radeon RX 580).
Der Speicher macht keine Probleme (Corsair CMK32GX5M2D6000Z36
2 X 16 GB DDR5)
Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden und begeistert von der Geschwindigkeit.
va tutto bene, sembra funzionare come dovrebbe. ma non mi piaceva il matrimonio in fabbrica. viene praticato un foro dal basso sotto il film e la retroilluminazione sfonda questo foro.
Decisamente un bel prodotto, ben curato in termini di qualit dei componenti e possibilit di utilizzo. Date per scontate le caratteristiche, si nota subito la cura messa nella realizzazione. Partita alla prima accensione senza nessun problema. L’upgrade all’ultimo BIOS ha risolto una incertezza di funzionamento nel sistema Aura Sync. Si presenta molto bene quando installata a bordo di un case con finestra trasparente. Nonostante il prezzo relativamente alto, il TCO (total cost of ownership) del prodotto sembra promettere bene.
Arrivata nei tempi previsti. Assemblata con un ryzen 5 all’inizio il sistema non si avviava, ho fatto un aggiornamento del Bios tramite usb dal pannello posteriore, con il comodo pulsante Flash Bios.
Aggiornato il bios il sistema partito senza problemi, stabile e fresca con la temperatura anche sotto stress.
Il prezzo lo considero altino, tuttavia la scheda fa molto bene il suo lavoro (per adesso), la consiglio per un sistema ryzen 7000 senza grosse pretese con supporto completo PCIe5.0
Motherboard molto potente, fra le top del mercato… design molto molto bello che sta veramente bene col case full white che ho assemblato..numerosissime porte usb ad altissime velocit… ottimo il wifi e il bluetooth… prestazioni impeccabili.. fasi molto buone… pcie 5.0 per gpu e ssd m2… fantastica! Io l ho abbinata con un ryzen 7900x e ram ddr5 fury 6400mhz cl32, ma attenzione queste ram non sono supportate da questa Motherboard r ho dovuto impostarle manualmente per poterle far funzionare bene… quindi se non siete pratici controllate bene sul sito asus quali ram sono compatibili al 100% prima di acquistarle..
1. You fix the CPU inside,
2. cooler as well and after that,
3. from another pc you need to download the binary file from ASUS website to update the bios,
4. unrar the file
5. rename the file as specified in the Asus Website
6. format your usb thumb-drive as Fat 32
7. copy the file to the thumb-drive
8. make sure the pc with the Asus motherboard is off
9. put the thumb-drive in the Asus motherboard special “bios usb” as indicated on it
10. push the bios button neat the “bios usb”
+ Great connectivity: I am building a new PC for myself mostly for gaming and also a bit for productivity. I wanted to have my motherboard future-proof. So I wanted to have PCIe 5.0 for both the graphics card, and also for the M2 storage. The motherboard offers tons of type-C, and also offers a slot for thunderbolt (need to buy separately).
+ Strong and durable GPU slot: I have an Asus TUF 3090Ti GPU, and it is heavy. As we already know, new 4000 series cards are a lot bigger and heavier. I like the GPU slot on this motherboard; it seems strong. I have not seen bending so far.
+ Decent ambiance lightning: It has a really cool lightning feature, and can be synced together with other light sources like fans via the Armoury Crate software by Asus.
+ Very nice BIOS design: I configured my RAM speed, fan speed etc easily. Compared to the cheap alternatives like ASRock, Asus has a really good BIOS design.
+ Looks amazing within white cases: I really liked the colors of the motherboard. M2 storage covers also look decent. Overall goes well with my white case.
– Had problems with DisplayPort 1.4 cable: It seems like some DisplayPort 1.4 cables might have a power line on their 20th pin, where the monitor tries to charge up the motherboard. When I first tried to turn on the PC after the build, the error warning LEDs for VGA and the BOOT were on. I knew that my GPU was working fine, so I thought maybe the motherboard was broken, then I replaced the cable and the problem was solved. But I think the recent motherboards should adapt themselves to such situations. I have been in contact with Asus support, they replied quickly but they have not been helpful on this topic.
– Price: The price of the new AM5 motherboards are insane. It really questions the choice of AM5. I hope AMD keeps its promise and sticks to the AM5 platform for the next 4-5 years.
After turning it on, everything went smoothly, with two exceptions. One was making the motherboard work with the DRAM modules, but to be fair I can’t tell if the blame lies with the motherboard, the modules, or both. I’ve got a DDR5-5600 kit listed as compatible by ASUS, and if I select its fastest DOCP profile on BIOS, POST times go up by 30s that are spent testing the modules (not just on the first boot, but every time). If I choose a slower DOCP profile (5200 or 4800), the DRAM section of the booting process takes less than 1s.
My other gripe, which seems to be solved by now, is with the strenght of the Bluetooth signal. I use Bluetooth mostly to send audio to my stereo, which is placed close by unobstructed, and despite that I would hear a really annoying beep coming from the receiver every 2s or so. I found the cause of it to be likely a weak signal, so I installed the antenna (which I didn’t need for internet as I’m connected through ethernet), and the issue was mostly gone, though I experienced it a couple more times afterwards. For comparison, on my previous PC I had a card reader that doubled as Bluetooth module, and never experienced this issue.
One last thing of note is ASUS motherboard software, Armoury Crate. I usually see little value in companion software from hardware makers, but this one doesn’t give me bloatware vibes. I use it mostly to track temperatures on my rig, but it has a host of (useful) features, like setting fan speeds, updating drivers, or controlling RGB settings (if you’re into that).
