Brilliant monitor, very sweet on the eyes thanks to the blue light filter.
Setting it up took me about one minute in total, including the screen settings, very intuitive and easy peasy to navigate through

Love the picture quality. Very pleased with the aesthetics. I bought two of these, because I was impressed with the video quality of the first one. There is one awkward feature, though. The multi-way joystick-style on/off/menu button is on the back, a full finger length up from the bottom and in from the right hand side. With two monitors side by side, that’s awkward to reach on the right hand monitor and especially awkward to reach on the left hand monitor. To switch each monitor off, you only have a few seconds to manipulate the little switch. Wait for the screen to go blue, then press the button to get the menu, then pull the switch to the side to select OFF. If you miss that sequence, you will have to press and/or waggle the button until the monitor comes back on and you can get the menu and shut it down. Its a bad design, in my opinion. That said, its still a very good monitor at a decent enough price. If you want to see whether the monitor is in standby or fully on, the little light is hidden under the front edge of the monitor, so you need to hold your hand under it to see the colour reflected on your hand. Not a major problem; and it does mean the light does not catch your eye all the time.

Got two of these to have a 3 monitor setup. Both were great straight out of the box. Colour balance, brightness etc didn’t need correcting. Resolution and size are great for what I want. Have not been able to find a single dead pixel on either of them. Not sure I need a higher refresh rate than the 75Hz I get from these, as I play games recreationally and not competitively. Size -wise, 27″ in ample as I sit about 2 feet away so it’s BIG.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought 2. Working from home the whole day I needed screens with a higher refresh rate than 60Hz, my eyesight has definitely improved, I use them only for work so I am not sure how they work for gaming (I have a dedicated gaming laptop), but if you are working from home, or mainly from home they are worth it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSchnelle Lieferung, lies sich unkompliziert anschlieen und funktioniert einwandfrei.

I thought this would be like portable monitors where your laptop can both deliver power and signal source to the monitor via USB-C, but that’s not the case. The description is a little misleading, imo.

The monitor will output power via USB-C but not allow input. For example, if you’re using a newer generation MacBook, you can charge your laptop and deliver video signal via one USB-C cable from the monitor.

Still very nice monitors —it’s nice not to have to mess with cable adapters. Asus make’s good stuff!

I’m comparing this with Lenovo 4K(IPS), Samsung 4K (the VA crap), iiyama and so on. And this one has the better colours. I bought this mostly to work with databases and code, but I’ll be damned if I couldn’t use this to do frontend development without worrying about getting the colours wrong.
Coming after a Samsung(sigh), this one actually looks like it’s good quality and works. First time I’m buying Asus, as I’m generally an iiyama / Dell fanboy. But this one makes me look at Asus with newfound respect.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI am still happy with my ASUS VP32UQ monitor that I purchased over a year ago. Admittedly, it has got two dead pixels now, but the remaining millions are good. I work from home, so basically it is full-time employed and just because I don’t want to jinx it, I will stop praising it, so I will end saying, for such little money, such good monitor, you may find yourself writing a positive review a year later, :).

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally happy with most everything with this monitor for the price. I have quite the headache trying to figure out why I am only getting 60hz and am not alone in this.

    Great for the price.

This monitor fit my needs perfectly. The resolution is high enough to comfortably fit two messaging apps side by side to act as a dashboard for both in my everyday use. The 75Hz refresh rate is also useful as it matches my existing monitor.

The monitor was easy to mount on a wall, take down and put on its stand when I moved.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHD IPS panel screen with good colour accuracy and high brightness. Minimal side and top bezels, wide bottom bezel. Decent built-in options menu. Has some forwards/backwards tilt, but there is no up/down adjustment and the screen height is a little bit low to look at with good posture.

Nice bright screen with vivid colours for a decent price

I brought 2 of these for my work set up. The screens are great, nice and clear. You cant adjust the height but I have mine on mounts anyway. Both screens display the same colour balance so they look in sync with each other too.

Used as a desktop monitor for home use, including HD videos

No speakers but a little speaker or sound bar can plug into the headphone socket at the rear.

Range of video settings quite good once you get the hang of the rear joystick nodule at the rear.

Display quality great – even had to turn down the display brightness because white backgrounds were like a Persil advert.

Reasonable price so we are happy bunnies 🙂

My old monitor (another make) was out of date to say the least. This one is much vivid and better on the eyes. I am just using it for day-to-day work and YouTubing. I haven’t use it for games (| don’t do games!). I have nothing negative to say about it. Many thanks.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAcabo de comprar un ASUS VP32AQ.

Bought this as a second monitor the principle requirement being that it wasn’t greater than 20″. I was a bit surprised that there was no vertical adjustment but this was solved by putting it on a small box that has doubled up as stationery store. The screen serves my purpose well but just be aware that it uses TN technology which means that the screen image fades if you view it from too high or low a position (generally unlikely if you’re sitting in front of the monitor). It came with a 13amp UK-type plug/lead. The supplied signal cable is the old VGA to VGA so if your PC doesn’t have a VGA out port you’ll need to get a suitable cable having the required connections.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPurchased to extend the desktop on my 14 inch laptop and 13 inch Macbook. Used primarily with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Google, Safari and other office based productivity apps. Haven’t used for gaming.

Monitor is a very close match for the quality of display from my laptop but the picture quality comes nowhere near that of my Macbook. Colours are more washed-out compared to Macbook screen and definition is nowhere near the same quality.

As an extended desktop for a Windows based machine, this is an excellent monitor. For Apple machines, it is more than usable but not of the same quality.

One issue I have noticed is that it only seems to work using USB-C with the supplied cable. I have genuine Samsung and Apple USB-C cables but the monitor doesn’t recognise these when I try to use them.

Given the price of this monitor, I would highly recommend it.

Good value especially as it was a returned item that was supposed to be damaged – I can’t see any damage so far. A good monitor but the default settings needed adjustment to suit me. This size of monitor needs to be at least arms length.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGot 3 of these on discount to replace my old 28″ 1080p displays and I’m pretty happy with them.

One of the 3 got “lost” in postage at the Bristol Amazon facility, so I guess someone helped them self to it… Amazon did send another and refunded the express shipping for the one screen so not that mad.

Colours look nice, pretty thin bezels except for the chin bar at the bottom, not much back light bleed, managed to luck out with no stuck or dead pixels, look great at 4k with HDR enabled running on the 3090.

You can see where they cut a few corners tho to get the price, the screens are a little glossy and can suffer from too much light reflection, the osd is not great for settings and the plastic used for the back is super flimsy, I mounted these on monitor arms and found the cover for the stand bracket broke when trying to remove it as it is also super flimsy plastic, managed to fix it with some super glue.

All in all very happy with them for the price.

    Great for the price 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe quality of the monitor is quite good and the picture is fine. The only quibble I have is with the fact that there is NO method of screen adjustment [swivel].
The only thing one can do, is pack the front edge of the base-plate to reach the desired angle required for viewing.
The on/off and adjustment buttons are located on the underside and to the centre of the monitor. Unfortunately, there’s nothing shown on the front of the screen to indicate their location or which is which, so locating them is purely by touch. Like others, initially, I used a ‘Post-it-Note’ stuck on the front to aid location, but I found that once the screen was set up, I didn’t need it as the on/off button is, as would be expected, the first in the row.
All-in-all a good screen for the price.

Love it, for the price. You’re not going to need anything better than this unless you’re a gamer or artist or something. The definition and colours are good, and the viewing angle is easily wide enough. Lightweight. Okay, the height isn’t adjustable but that can be solved with a riser/stand. I imagine these are aimed at people hoping to mount via the holes in the back in a multi-screen set up, which is why they haven’t bothered with an adjustable stand.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI now have a second of these monitors for a matching pair of the same resolution, make and model.

The price on this model went through the roof after I got the first monitor. I have had to wait until now for the price to come down by 40 and even then it’s 30 more than I previously paid.

No complaints, set up without issue.

Only gave 4 stars, as it was supplied without a UK plugged cable. As this has been bought on the UK website and was delivered within the UK. No matter where it coming from I don’t expect to get a euro plugged cable. I have emailed the seller but have posted this to make sure if you buy this product that you put in a note saying UK delivery.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersAn incredibly satisfying product. Wouldn’t mind buying it again and again. Packing quality is second to none (although wouldn’t have expected any less from Asus). Contains U.S and UK power leads which was kind of inconvenient but doesn’t really matter for the purpose of this review. VGA cable is supplied and found this as a handy addition as many monitors at this price point decide to omit this. The monitor itself is wrapped in cellophane and arrived without a scratch. Set it up with relative ease although the power cable is quite short if you plan to run it somewhere quite far away from the monitors original position. Mind you screen is much, much wider than the photo on the Amazon page shows which was a surprise bit did not cause me any inconvenience. Not true 1080p resolution but 1366*768 which doesn’t look far off. Menu and options are interactive and ease to use once one gets the hang of it. Actual monitor performance is excellent and many differing modes are available etc. Night, Theater and Srgb.
Glossy finish would have looked out of place anywhere other than this monitor, so am pleased with that. One perk of this monitor is the ability to wall mount which is a feature I’m not currently utilising. Auto adjust and Smart View are some the flagship features that Asus decide to cram in here.

All in all, this monitor is your best bang for the buck. Quality performance is being delivered an affordable price. Give it 1010 hands down, any day!
