Simple idea of a fibre optic transfer of the video HDMI information together with standard copper wires for the control and 5v power etc. The transducers for converting optic <> electrical are housed in the HDMI plug covers so very neat, but you do have to get source and screen the correct way around for it to work. Yes it easily works to its 30m length with no degradation.

My only worry is they mention the fibre optic cable is more fragile than the copper equivalent and just as with fibre broadband there is a minimum radius bend that it will handle. Mine is used for presentations and so I wind mine up after use in the theatre on a small cable drum and so far so good in 4mths use.

I thought using the optical would stop my Sony TV from sending noise into the DVD box (which has analogue outs to the amplifier). So normal HDMI cables would give a constant buzz/hiss noise from the amplifier when playing CDs etc (Pioneer LX800). Using these cables instead, you get a slightly louder buzz every second or so… So not quieter for my purposes, but I’m guessing these cables are for longer runs in home cinema or something. Anyway, maybe some sort of galvanic isolation HDMI solution would be better, but these are good cables, just didn’t solve my problem. Does anyone know how to solve this?

The cable works exactly as advertised, so long as the connectors aren’t broken or the cable hasn’t been bent too sharply, it works (using 20m version).
Pretty decent considering the price, the cable is thin as you’d expect for fiber optic cable.

I bought this 20m fibre optic HDMI cable to replace a long HDMI ethernet extender. Whilst this setup worked great with Sky HD, I guess because of the amount of data sent over the cable, it didn’t work well with Sky Q, with poor image quality and sometimes image loss. Unfortunately, I’ve had issues with stable image quality with standard HDMI cables over this distance, so I tried this fibre optic cable instead. Suffice to say it works great! The image quality is perfect, with no visible degradation. The cable itself is well built and the HDMI connectors themselves feel solid.

A great purchase if you’re in need of a long HDMI cable between your Sky Q box and your TV

    Works great with Sky Q

Over the year’s I’ve purchased many HDMI cables and this is hands down the best. Purchased this for a projecter and required a long cable and after using powered splitters for connecting which all had issues I found this fiber lead. Bloody brilliant, thin cable and works flawlessly. You won’t be disappointed

Works perfectly, and much more low profile than the one I bought from another supplier. This one works with hdr10 as well as 4k which is perfect, worth paying extra for the higher quality cable. Other one would sometimes not show 4k and change resolution, probably because it could not handle the bandwidth. Would buy agai

This is a great product which gives high quality picture. This HDMI cable is heavy duty and well worth the price compared to many cheaper ones.
I brought this 15mtr cable which was recommended to me by a friend who uses these on a regular installation.
I would definitely buy from this company again and would highly recommend their products.

I used this 10m cable to connect my sky q mini box inside my home to my TV which is inside my detached garage. It works perfectly fine giving me a good picture. The sky remote even works even though there is no direct line of sight, I guess this part is just lucky. Medium expensive but others are way more expensive and copper HDMI cables just don’t work at 10m for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI love these cables. I bought several brands to try using with my live stream set-ups where, crucially, you need to be able to connect a camera over HDMI that may be a very long way away from the switcher. No standard cable is going to do that past 10 meters without issues, but I have these fibre optic cables in lengths right up to 100 meters and they’re flawless. The second and equally crucial thing is that these cables, which traditionally only send the signal one direction, can send a camera control signal in the opposite direction – from the Blackmagic ATEM switcher to a Blackmagic camera at the other end to allow control of important settings like aperture, focus, ISO and more. Several brands I tried initially could not do this.

I also really appreciate the fact that these cables are well tested for breaks if they are kinked or bent as reliability in livestream situations where they may get staged or stepped-on is really important.

I purchased a new projector (BenQ W2700), unfortunately my old HDMI cable could not handle 4K HDR content.

I needed the cable to be quite long (15m). Glad I bought this one. So far it has worked brilliantly!

By far the best value / highest quality combination for fiber optic HDMI cabling I could find.

Solid feeling connectors that are clearly marked ‘source’ and ‘display’.

Tested and worked without a hitch between my laptop and separate display 15 metres apart in separate parts of my home.

Word of advice: Make sure to get the ‘source’ and ‘display’ connectors the right way round and you’re laughing (they are clearly labelled but it is easy to forget).

These HDMI cables are great if you’re looking for a very reliable/well-constructed longer-length cable. I purchased one some time ago for use with a Playstation 5 and a Projector. I have now purchased a second cable for use with an additional monitor/external display. Even over a long-length of cable, picture quality, HDR and resolution are as intended. Very happy with these cables!

Finally, a 10m HDMI cable that works with Sky Q UHD. I’ve tried a few cheaper one’s but none have worked with UHD. Quality of connectors look good and no over heating. Hopefully it will last a long time.

After a projector upgrade my existing HDMI cable was unable to manage a full 4k 60hz Chroma 4:2:2 signal.

With longer 10m cable runs this is often a problem

I’d heard other users had been successful with ATZEBE fibre optic cable and found that it worked perfectly at a much cheaper price than other manufacturers.

An added bonus is the cable is much thinner than my existing copper HDMI cable making it easier to hide.

I only wish the would offer it in different colours like white.

    Works at 4k 60 4:2:2

Bought this to play UHD 2160p from sky q 2tb box. I use mini boxes for multi room but wanted to play uhd content on another tv in a different room. I tried another 15m hdmi cable but this would only play hd 1080p, although it had stated it would play uhd! I tried on multiple devices but it just wouldn’t play uhd… I was recommended this fibre optic hdmi cable by Simon from Cables UK and at first time of testing the cable worked perfectly playing hdr content with Dolby Atmos. I am very happy and despite it being more expensive than other hdmi cables, I’d prefer to pay more for something that works as advertised! Hopefully it will last and I can continue to enjoy using it as I’ve only tested it once so far!

I ran this cable between two floors to transmit from my gaming/server room upstairs to my home cinema receiver/TV downstairs. To do this I had to make several bends but the cable is sturdy and flexible enough to make routing it an ease. In performance terms, I have had it running for several days now, with a high-bandwidth signal (4K UHD 2160p HDR video with 5.1/7.1 digital audio) and it does this at a constant 60 frames-per-second with no dropouts or issues recognising the display type. For reference this is from a Geforce RTX 3090 card, which is capable of HDMI 2.1 but only utilising 2.0 bandwidth, which I believe the cable is rated at. A superb cable with high performance, ideal if you want to run a screen or receiver over distance from your source. Very happy with this item. A+

Flawless transmission of 4K UHD HDR @ 60fps over 20 metres - excellent performance over range

With my set up consisting of 4K tv and AV amp, rather than go for bigger TV’s it made sense to mount the tv on a stand which was on castors. Moving the tv halfway towards the viewing area, effectively doubled the size of the tv which at 4K still remains acceptable. But how to get 4K at 2:2:2 24 bit colour at 60hz through a reasonably thin and flexible solution. Well this is the solution and works faultlessly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don’t buy a bigger TV - bring it closer!!

After upgrading my projector to 4K the standard 15m copper cable could not handle 4K reliably and kept dropping out. After a lot of research I went with this cable. 4K HDR works perfectly and no dropouts whatsoever. If you are experiencing similar issues I would highly recommend this cable.

Overall I was really pleased with These and I could see The difference in picture Quality as soon as I connected Them up. There really designed for your 4K player and help To bring out That extra depth and colour when you play a 4K movie from your player. its no real beef That 4K movies can sometimes look a little darker when playing Than say a standard Blu-ray movie which was The problem I was experiencing. even Though I had The 4K TV and player and it always states on The back of your 4K movies packaging That you need To update your HDMI Cable I somehow seemed To ignore This. perhaps at The Time Thinking I had spent enough on my 4K equipment. finally purchasing This I am glad I did. My 4K movies now look I suspect as They should do colours are more richer and Those night Times scenes more solid and visible. Quite easy To connect Though you need To make sure you connect the right ends into your appliances. These however are clearly marked for you on The ends of your cables. mine run from my TV into my 4K Player full instructions on The actual performance of The HDMI cables are enclosed so you get a clear understanding of Their function. admit for an HDMI cable They are a little bit on The pricey side Though be it you will only need To buy Them once. if you have been experiencing The same problems I had when playing a 4K movie Then These cables should solve That problem for you. overall Highly recommended.

When I installed it it seemed excellent.

7 months later it’s intermittent with picture break up and blank screens, usually cleared by unplugging and replugging in the cable, 10m cable used!

Update, refunded by Amazon and a replacement from the same company purchased. Replacement works perfectly. Hopefully this one will last!

So, a few years ago I was in the ‘a HDMI cable is a HDMI cable’ camp. however (good or bad….) this is no longer the case. With the advances in technology and quality available there is a difference now.

I had recently bought a Apple TV 4k, and with my ‘basic’ (But still high speed) HDMI cable It wouldn’t play nicely with Dolby Vision content, Or having Chroma set to its highest. So I though its worth investing in a decent cable that is A capable of delivering what I need now, But also be ready for any future advancements (Like if I upgrade my tv to 2.2 ports, or 8k).

In summary its taking Dolby vision / 4k content with absolutely no issues, I have run the HDMI test on the 4k apple TV too and it comes back with full marks. although its maybe a bit more expensive that your standard ones. I would say its worth it especially when we spend so much on TV’s and media devices, to then be let down by the connection in the middle !

    Thanks 🙂

Full Speed Ahead! (No more issues with apple TV!)

All was fine with my old HDMI lead that I used for my Optoma UHD40 projector until I purchased a Sony ubp-x700 4k player. After that, I kept getting source not found issue, was a bit reluctant to pay this much for a HDMI lead but glad i did, i use the lead to connect my project to my Denon avr-x2300w av receiver and all works great now. The lead is excellent quality and has good flexibility. Would highly recommend.

This item sends a cracking 4k picture from my Sony AV Amp to my Samsung TV but recently I have intermittently been losing the video signal (TV screen goes black for a few seconds then picture returns). Not sure if the cable electronics are wearing out after prolonged use.

Pricey, but for longer distances is the only option i could find.

Looks solid and good quality, very thin! And that is a good think for me, as could hide it in the corner of the room under carpet.

I was using a “Certified 4K 60fps” conventional copper 10m HDMI cable to feed video to my 4K projector. It worked okay from the 4K blu ray player although the picture quality was not as good as I thought it would have been. However when using PS4 pro we were losing the picture 10 -15 times an hour for 2 – 4 seconds. Doing some research I found this fibre cable and bought it. The difference was incredible….. the clarity of the 4K image was immeasurably improved (it has always looked a little blurry) and we have not had a single picture loss event in 30 hours of use.
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH!! Not the cheapest – but worth every penny…..and I am not in any way connected with the seller and I bought the cable myself. I have not rated durability as I have only owned it for a week, but it looks well made.

I’ve tried standard HDMI 10m cable to get 4k@60hz 4:2:2 HDR content to my TV but have not found a working solution in the 10-20 range. This cable works perfectly, but for 55 I would expect it to live up to its promises.

I bought the 15m variant. Tested and seems to fully work up to 2160p Dolby Vision HDR 12-bit signal. No issues what so ever. Cable has gold-plated connectors and stylish finish on connector body itself. You need to pay attention which way you connect the cable but this is clearly marked with “Source” and “Display” texts on connector body. I noticed that display end connector gets a bit warm probably because it has some tiny electronics integrated taking care of the optical to electrical signal conversion.

Upgraded my projector to a UHD model, and found that the existing HDMI could not carry a 4K60 signal over the distance needed. Not the cheapest cable out there, but seems of a very high quality – and most importantly, it just worked.

The cable itself is much narrower that a standard HDMI – which makes it even easier to route neatly around the room. If you’re looking for a longer HDMI lead, this could be just what you’re looking for.

Good quality for a good price, so far nothing in it between this and more expensive leads some 3 times as expensive.
HOWEVER there is one caveat that is if you have more than one display, for example a TV and a PJ going through a AV amp then it will cause connection issues some will require you to disconnect this lead to use the second display others will require you to manually switch (no need to disconnect the lead) which you can’t use auto function.
This is not a fault of this lead it is a common problem with all hybrid HDMI leads even the most expensive ones.
Remember this is an omnidirectional lead.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI bought very expensive Sony 4K projector, customised 4K projector, 4K Apple TV, Xbox one x, higher end music system. All for 15,000 pounds. So, I thought I will invest in good hdmi extender kits which costs 450.
End result: doesn’t do HDR. Tried different hdmi kits and very expensive HdMI wires, none of them are fast enough for 4K HDR 50 Hz
Changed to this one, and it’s so good. Never had problems with 4K HDR 50 hz again. It’s important to see that HDR 50 Hz becuase Apple TV 4K supports this resolution and the new Sony 4K HDR camera also supports this.
Without this wire, I would have been disappointed with my original setup. Note: some games on XBox One need this as well

Other expensive wires are good with 4K 25 Hz but the picture keeps stopping when switched to 4K HDR 50 Hz

I had about 20m HD HDMI cable for my tv. However, this wouldn’t work for my new tv which is UHD(4k) as it’s simply too long a distance. This optical cable shows zero signal degradation over 20m and works perfectly with my Sky Q box. I’m able to watch full 4K movies as well as regular HD and 3D.

I have a 4k projector being feed from a receiver and all cables either kept flicking or wouldn’t support 4k even though they say they did, however, this one worked and worked perfectly straight out the box. I got the 10m cabel and it works perfectly, no flickering at all. Just make sure you put the source and display the correct way around. Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersHaving used a 7m copper HDMI cable for my PC setup for many years with no issue, it became a slight annoyance that after moving i needed a 10m cable to reach from my PC desk to the living room TV. The first cable i brought cheap from that auction site didn’t work, so I spent more money on a high quality v2 cable with exactly the same results. it managed to send the lower resolutions, but refused to work with 4K. This is when my headache began. I started checking the signal boosters, but found most of these did not support 4K, nor the HDCP 2.2 pass through.

Being a tech savvy guy i thought i had exhausted my options until i discovered the fiber optic version of a HDMI cable. Being fully aware of how fiber optics worked, i knew straight away this would be my solution. I remembered the original use of fiber cables was for 5.1 audio, via SPDIF, which itself is almost obsolete these days. I imagine these cables must be something of a new breed, as searching around online these cables are scarce and extremely expensive where these Amazon ones are literally half the price, but do the same job.

I can confirm that this will solve your cable woes. Its worth pointing out that the cable only works one way round, so make sure you check the connectors that each end are in the right ports. Also, like with all fiber optics avoid running it anywhere that could be trodden on regularly and avoid sharp bends in the cable. The cable is well made, but won’t be indestructible.
