Autoglym Polar Blaster Snow Foam Lance, Car Wash Foam Gun
Autoglym Polar Blaster Snow Foam Lance, Car Wash Foam Gun For Pressure Washer Applicatio
Step 1 – Polar Blast
Apply Polar Blast with a pressure washer and foam cannon for the best results. Spray on the exterior bodywork of your vehicle and leave the blanket of snow foam for up to 10 minutes.
This removes the top layer of dirt before you wash, reducing the chance of swirl marks caused by sponge or wash mitt agitation.
Step 1 – Polar Wash
Similar to Polar Blast, Polar Wash is best applied with a pressure washer and foam cannon. Spray on the exterior bodywork of your vehicle and agitate the thick foam with a wash mitt.
The foam allows you to easily see where you have cleaned to ensure a perfect, all-over wash. Rinse off ready for step 3…
Step 1 – Polar Seal
Whilst the vehicle is still wet apply Polar Seal with your pressure washer and foam cannon, avoiding the windscreen. Do not allow the solution to dry on your vehicle.
Rinse off with water and watch it repel off instantly due to Polar Seal’s excellent hydrophobic properties. Drying time is dramatically reduced and you’re left with a perfect wax-like finish.
Result
Complete the Polar Series by drying your vehicle and reveal a high gloss, enviable finish.

Works far better than cheaper versions I have tried. Cleaned a whole car with only 200ml of Polar Blast Snow Foam solution, so looks like it’s going to be economical.
The only downside is that if you want to use the three solutions Autoglym sell, the Snow Foam, Shampoo and sealant – then some spare reservoir bottles would be good. Autoglym don’t sell them, but a company called Duel Autocare sell a similar snow foam applicator and they sell spare 1 litre bottles with lids for 7.50 each which fit perfectly.
Yes this is pricy and there are cheaper BUT.
This id a VERY sturdy canon. It had measurements on the side for setting out your fluid and water
The attachments for a Karcher jet washer perfectly
Everything feels like quality, no wobbly bits.
The options to change the amount of foam spray are good and VERY precise so you aren’t losing precious foam.
Once full with fluid and water it’s not heavy and a joy to use.
Never used one of these before but with a bit of adjustment it does job. Seems well built, the quick rrelease is a bit stiff , I guess it will loosen with use. The main parts are steel and brass so it should last awhile. Overall pretty good.
have had lots of snow foam guns, this one swivels on the gun adapter unlike all the others so you wont have to hold the gun at a stupid angle to get it to work,
brass fittings and works well, dont be scared by the price, Buy once and you will never regret it,
we are always our work vehicles and this is the best by a mile !
So the actual foamed is great quality, the push fit valve is also well made, however, the connector for the hose adapter is very tight. Much more pressure is required to connect, much more so than the Karcher accessories. It may be come easier after more use
The build quality is great, solid fixings making it feel premium. Attaches to a Karcher fitting with ease. The foam output is also great. Now for the thing that’s missing, considering the Polar series is all about measures in millilitres and mixing part solution with water, there are NO markings on the bottle for volume of liquid! You’d think for 40 they could’ve embossed the millilitres on the side! Make sure you also buy a 50p measuring just to go with this
Almost entirely absent instructions on how to use – it’s straightforward but had to use YouTube to find out how-to. Pressure washer adapter included fits Karcher K3 (and likely others). Dial on top to control flow almost entirely useless when using Autoglym Polar range as you just open it until it hard stops… maybe that dial is more relevant on other products.
I’ve used this on my two bikes and motorcycle so far. It’s a bit of a game changer and it makes washing stuff a bit more enjoyable! Very robust design and you can tell it’s well made. I have only given 4 stars as I believe it could be a little bit cheaper.
Works very well. I can put thick foam all over the car and when I’m ready to use the wash mitts, the foam is still on the car. I had to purchase a different adapter for my workzone pressure washer but attaching it to the quick change adapter was no problem. It would have been nice to have graduation marks on the bottle but I can do that myself later. Could have been made a little cheaper by not including the karcher adapter. It also leaks if you turn it upside down. Those 2 points lose this a star.
Creates a nice thick cover of foam with a spray pattern which can be adjusted via the nozzle. You need to move quickly whilst applying as to get a thick foam, the bottle runs empty fairly quickly but it is enough to cover a pick up truck once you get a feel for it.
The coupling did start leaking after a few uses as I saw mentioned in other reviews, but this is easily solved by tightening the coupling with a spanner so that the rubber o-ring is suitably compressed. If you do notice the leak, this is no cause for alarm and returning the product – just nip it up tight.
Though the amounts of each cleaning agent required is stated on the side of the bottle, there are no graduated markings on the bottle itself so a separate measuring jug is needed. This is my only concern with the otherwise great and solid product.
After use rinse the cannon thoroughly with warm water in the reservoir for at least 2 minutes . If you keep the jets and gauze scrupulously clean it will serve you well for many years. I discovered this the hard way. But contacting Autoglym’s brilliant customer support , I was given great advice and support and I had it working properly again, just by doing what they suggested. I thought they were a brilliant British company and they have proved to continue to make super products and outstanding customer support. So far I have used the Polar Blast and the Polar Wash . Great products giving great cleaning. Advice is as I say brilliant. I can not recommend this foam cannon highly enough. But do clean it through thoroughly after each use else it will not preform. I think that all have the same tendency to bung up if you are not strict with storing it clean, dry and empty
You’ve probably been looking backwards and forwards between different snow foam lances.. look no further. This is so worth the money if you want proper snowfoam like you see in the product videos – this particular snow foam lance has exceeded my expectations in every way. I bought a snow foam lance about 6 months ago from another brand which broke, followed by purchasing the ‘Pro-Kleen Lance with included snowfoam” which arrived without the karcher adapter altogether even with ordering the correct one before finally purchasing this one after more research.
So THIS is what it’s like to have top tier snow foam lance. This sprays the snow foam onto the car unlike you’ve ever seen.
Pros that others might not have mentioned;
– The quick release system is an excellent feature, allowing you to quickly attach the adapter to your jet wash before securing the snow foam lance. Then afterward detaching is super easy too.
– Build quality feels solid.
– Pivoting capsule. This this this! Why don’t all lances have this? With other lances they tend to be stuck in one orientation on your jet wash gun which can make applying the snowfoam very awkward so this is a great addition.
– Final underrated feature is that the actual bottle itself has a very large opening which is easier than that of others with a small opening.
Seriously don’t waste your time on others. Just get this tomorrow on prime delivery, you won’t regret it.
This unit is quite expensive compared with others on the market, that said in my experience, cheap generally means they don’t last as long. This unit is well made and feels like a high-quality unit. It can be connected directly to a hosepipe (suspect it would require a hoselock adaptor) or to a Karcher K series jet wash. I have only used it on a jetwash.
The amount and thickness of the foam can be controlled, however, I found to get a really thick coating I had to have it on the max setting. Anything less was too diluted and just ran off. I’m guessing others would be similar. I have a C-Class Merc so mixed 100ml of Autoglym snow Blast to 500ml of water which was enough to cover the whole car.
Using a jet wash does give a good amount of splashback so my drive around the car did look like there had been a snowstorm. This easily did wash away.
To clean I just rinsed the bottle out and emptied it using the jet wash.
The product could be improved by having a scale on the side of the bottle saving having to measure water and the detergents out separately.
All in all, I’m please with the product.
