I used a different hand clay from this company which was great, this one, although I followed the instructions seemed like I had to put a lot more pressure on babies hand to get a print and it wasn’t brilliant.
I did have to knead with hands and not on a surface as it just stuck to the kitchen unit.

UPDATE the seller has issued a refund and sending me out a replacement. Didn’t expect such great service. If the new one is better I will update again to 5 stars.

Great product, follow the instructions and you will love the outcome- they even have a video QR code with the package.
Package also includes Numbers, Alphabet and few emojis to add details to the casting prints.
The size of the photos that came be added is 70mmX70mm.

    Really happy

This is a great easy mess free wat to create a perfect memory

I tried multiple memory moulds and prints for my 2 month old son and they were either too messy, too long or didn’t work at all and were more suited to older children and babies.

This product was perfect because its uses air dry clay so if the print didn’t come out the way you wanted you can just re roll it out and try again which is a life saver when trying to take a newborns prints.

Was so easy to use and would be a great present for any parents to be. Would recommend this product so highly for a easy beautiful memory of those tiny toes and hands

Unfortunately the clay didn’t work well for me and I put up a negative review but without prompting – the seller contacted me and offered a refund and a replacement . I had already arranged a different gift by this point so I didn’t ask for a replacement but I cannot argue with that service, it couldn’t be fairer.

Followed instructions to the T but somehow a poor result. Although I kneaded it very well the clay still cracked when drying over a few days and I almost went through the floor trying to make an imprint of my poor baby’s feet.

Changed to 5 stars as the company have read my review and are sending me a new one to try again free of charge! Cannot say fairer than that, a rare great company!

I cant comment on the actual product as its a gift but the presentation box is perfect. Also the company have personally contacted me explaining how to make the product which is a nice touch.

Was suppose to be a surprise but no packaging ruined this as label stuck on box gives away the item should have been packed better especially around Christmas time Alexa won’t tell you what the item is but oh well you can see i

The clay imprint worked well for me, however the window for it in the mount was cut slightly at an angle and doesn’t line up with the other windows. The clay window is too small blocking some of the imprint and writing underneath, plus as it doesn’t line up this does ruin the overall look slightly. Overall I’m very happy with the product. If the mount was cut more accurately it would get 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great apart from the mount wasn't cut correctly

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe frame is decent quality and comes with step by step instructions although it’s pretty straightforward anyway.
I’ve taken away 1 star because my clay was very sticky and difficult to roll out which has left a few lines at the edges of the print and it took 5 days to properly harden. Other than that I’m very impressed with how it went and love the finished result. I especially love the letters and heart for adding the name to i

4.0 out of 5 stars Turned out fabulous

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis product looked great so thought we would capture our lil boys hand and foot to keep.
When I received it I was impressed with the packaging etc I read the instructions throughly and proceeded to follow them.
Once we did the imprints we left it in a room as no direct sunlight. The next morning we came down an there was crack running through both the hand an foot an all over the rest of the clay.:-( I contacted the seller who then sent me instructions that didn’t match the ones that came with it so they agreed to send me another one asking If I had completed the online warranty first (no I hadn’t) I received the next one and followed the instructions they had sent me,again the next day there is still cracks in the clay not as many but unfortunately there is a crack running through the foot :-(.
Now unless I did something wrong (even though I followed the instructions ) I wouldn’t say this was the best and very conflicting with the information on how to use.Easy to contact the seller though.

I don`t think it is worth the value as it is a normal photo frame with a slot for the clay. If you are into DIY, you can make the clay yourself and improvise a frame for it and will have the same outcome for a better price. However, if you don`t want to do that and is happy to spend money, that`s a great and affordable gift to give a friend. The clay is easy to manipulate and there is no mess, but takes a while to dry out. A drawback on this frame in my opinion is that you can only use it as landscape and not portrait.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a lovely little memento and I am pleased with the results of my own frame. The service from the seller is also excellent – it arrived in good time, was well packaged and they really seem to care. The seller shared some good advice on how to achieve the best results… which if I’m honest, I forgot about by the time I made my frame because the frame arrived 5 weeks before the baby! The parts are of good quality too.

I did make the mistake of wanting both hands and both feet in the frame – which do actually fit with a small newborn baby (our son was 6lb 9oz) but they get quite cramped. This meant 2 things:

    1) the hands (which are hard to get right anyway as babies seem to like to claw at things) we’re really tough – I did them last but if I did it again, I’d do them first as feet can pretty much be planted where you want them – hands have a mind of their own!

    2) The other thing you find when you push 4 appendages into the clay is that the clay rises up outside of the frame, so you lose some of that flush finish. I made an error by trying to trim it and accidentally scored my visible clay. Filling my mess with more clay ended up leaving an obvious visible join once the whole thing had dried. So be cautious!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, great seller - dont be overconfident!

When I purchased the baby imprint kit, I wasn’t sure about the result or if I could make it and get successful imprint.
It was delivered in time and in very good packaging as I always thought amazon packaging is the best.
The frame itself is very basic and quiet small it could be cheaper regarding its simplicity.
But i followed the instructions carefully and I have got excellent result, it saved me lots of money rather buying it in mothercare for 107 you can make it yourself it’s finely easy to make !
I opened all 3 clay bags and kneaded it in my hand like play dough and then I aplayed it in its place in frame I used a mug and my thumb to fill the edges properly I used also the back of table spoon to make it soft.
I sat my baby on my lap by the table and opened her little hand and pressed it firmly into the clay.
I didn’t like the first impression so I had to do it all over again, but I am very happy about the final result.
After 48 hours it was completely dry and i painted the frame and the clay and the imprints in very nice color nail polish because it comes in while color only.
I definitely recommend it to everyone!!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThe product itself is one of the best and more reasonably priced on the Internet. That said, I had issues with the first one I received (details below) and asked for a second to be sent to me. The company was very friendly and helpful and sent this free of charge next day delivery, I can’t fault the customer service.

The reason for only four stars is as follows:

    1) it is fiddly to roll out the clay in to the area / box provided in the frame. You are given 3 small bags of clay to use – a 4th is definitely needed. Without four, a rolling pin is not sufficient to flatten it all in to place, as the clay doesn’t fill the entire box and so the rolling pin won’t be in contact with all of the clay. I had to resort to a fiddly small glass to flatten it all. I’ve tried this twice

    2) the clay crack when dried. The first time was noticeable, the second time not so much. Using any spare clay to fix the cracks looks a bit obvious. Not sure whether there should be instructions of how to best dry the clay – I.e hot or cold environment to avoid this ??

The end result, second time round, is very good and i would recommend the product. I would urge the company to take my views on board going forward to ensure future customers dont have the same issue

I attach the better photo- second time around

4.0 out of 5 stars The product itself is one of the best and more reasonably priced on the Interne

I bought the baby foot print DIY kit a month ago. I used it a few weeks back and am happy with it overall considering the price I paid for it. It was definitely an affordable alternative to something like what Memory Makers do at Mothercare for about 200!

I bought a rolling pin used for clay modelling from Hobbycraft to roll the clay. The only issue I had with the clay was it didn’t come out quite smooth, I am wondering if a bit more clay would have helped. It might help if the rolling pin is also included or sold separately.

But the final result is quite good, still the footprints are quite visible, tells the story with the pictures, and am hoping will remind us of this beautiful time in the years to come.

While I liked the product and it served its purpose (kind of), it represents significantly poor value for money at 25 (which is apparently reduced from RRP 39 – really?) Realistically, it is a very basic frame, a very small piece of MDF for the backing, some thin acrylic for a screen, a lightweight stencil cut-out to separate photos, and a very small quantity of clay. Depending on your viewpoint of economics, the production value of this item would be a fraction of the RRP.

I had issues with the product in terms of clay being mostly ‘unworkable’ and therefore prone to excessive cracking once dried.

    Update:
I just wanted to add that the customer service I received from Bubzi Co. was simply flawless. Having reviewed my issues with the product, they were only too happy to offer me a replacement and I must say, once it arrived and I tried it – everything worked as expected. From my perspective, I can only conclude that the original item must have been slightly faulty or perhaps the clay was exposed to air, which lead to excessive cracking. The replacement was incredibly easy to use by comparison and lived up to my original expectations. Again though, the customer service from Bubzi Co. was explemary and indeed – a rarity these days. I have amended my Star rating from 3-stars to 4-stars. I couldn’t give it 5-stars because, while it may be more competitive than other options out there – I still feel that the price should be improved upon for what it is.

I bought this for my brother’s baby girl. She was just over 3 weeks old when I gave this to them, and they decided do to it then, even if I thought the baby was too young, and it was better to wait a few months. I was thinking that you need to press in a little bit and she seemed so fragile, and I was a bit worried it won’t work. I must admit it was a bit of a struggle since she was so young and couldn’t quite keep her palm open, first time we ended up with her fist 🙂 but the clay is very soft, and it is very easy to do it again if it doesn’t look exactly right. Also, because of the soft clay you don’t need to press as hard as I thought to get something, and the baby actually seemed to enjoy the feeling of it. It was a lot of fun to get her to do it, and it was much easier with her feet. I haven’t seen the frame after it got dry, but from what I did see I would definitely recommend this.
