All three films in one package, and, excellent price too. They’ve stood the test of time, recommended.
Brought for my son
Brilliant product
Value for money
Good condition
Thank u
Very good blue plastic cage .. all 3 movies with an extra dvd
the first 2 movies are the best of the trilogy
Son very happy, even more so when he saw an additional disc. Case opening a little stiff but does not effect item. All 3 disc’s already watched and speedy delivery. Thank you
+ I didn’t wait long for delivery.
– The DVD boxes came damaged
A brilliant original film with two okay sequels. The first film works so well, the other two simply don’t.
Great movie content, but I removed the seal, and the disc splines to hold the 3rd disc in was broken, and bits of plastic was in there, luckily it didn’t scratch the disc.
I read in some reviews that they thought it looked grainy the picture quality, maybe this is a newer remastered copy as it couldn’t be any sharper and I’ve played it through the cinema system on the big screen. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to the second and final films.
Absolutely stunning 4K transfers for all films.. The sound on a decent system is alive and the special features are great. Only think that lets it down a little is the mediocre case.. Overall totally worth the upgrade from blu ray.
This is the bargain of the century all of the movies including bonus features in a very beautiful case a must for any back to the future fans highly recommend
Quality of the 4k transfer is really nice. Noticeably better than the 1080 blu-rays from 10 years previously.
The presentation box is nice, the extras inside are good. Really nothing to dislike about this box set. As a big back to the future fan I’m
very happy with it.
Recently getting a 4K player I wanted to go down memory lane and buy some of my old favourites. This is quite possibly my all time fav trilogy of films so it was a necessary purchase. Great package with some great extras, not a big steelbook hunter but these three are fantastic…..it even has space to store my old trilogy set. Picture quality was great and with the HDR those colours just pop. And the sound is as good as I’ve heard with these films.
Just to say, that these boxsets are likely to contain the old disks from the previous 30th Anniversary addition which are not the Remastered versions! However, you can contact Sony/Universal who will send out replacements. The remastered blu-rays have a completely different menu. Amazing value at 15
I shan’t mention the film itself and everyone knows its a classic trilogy.
The first movie looked stunning on bluray but part 2 on bluray lookee poor by comparison. Thankfully PQ had finally been levelled up across the 3 films.
Overall you won’t find better looking movies on 4k blu ray. If you want a reference 4k bluray then this box set is the one.
Yes it’s that good.
The hdr is beautiful and realistic. But that’s to be expected with films shot on celluloid rather than digital.
I can’t fault the 4k bluray boxset in any way.
This title is stunning in every way possible.
4k review. Best I’ve ever seen these films, part 3 is by far Best but that is because a better source than first 2. Still, all 3 are awesome. Packaging also decent. Bit pricey but a great set for collection.
I want to tell one thing to any readers: There are some reviews here of people complaining about the discs being the same. If you notice the review date, it was BEFORE the 4k release (which was October 20th). So yes, you’re getting BTTF in 4k with Dolby Vision/HDR and Dolby Atmos if you purchase this.
See you in the future!
…or in the past.
Michael Fox and Christopher Lloyd make a superb pair in all three films. All of them are highly enjoyable, but at my age (…) I find the first film the best, because of its affectionate digs at the primitive 50’s, and the redemption of Marty’s parents. A great trio of films.
I had cause to revisit these now quite old films. I found them just as enjoyable this time around. OK, the time-travel plots are full of holes (Marty inspires Chuck Berry to be Chuck Berry, so that Chuck Berry can inspire Marty to be Chuck Berry and inspire Chuck Berry…), but it’s easy to suspend disbelief and simply go along for the ride. The actors are great and the scenarios quite ingenious. The whole package is highly entertaining.
This Back to the Future box set has been fantastic, it still entertains me even though I’ve watched them all numerous times and my girls have also really enjoyed them.
The first thing to note is that the picture quality is a world away from the old 80’s VHS I used to have. The downside of this is that it’s clear to see where stunt doubles have been used.
The sound is excellent, Huey Lewis and the News have never sounded so good.
This is still brilliant family entertainment.
Sure, some of the effects are laughable by today’s standards and there are a few elements which aren’t explained properly or are a little to convenient to the plot but those nitpicks are… well they’re just nitpicks because this is Back to the Future and Back to the Future is good.
I already had the first two versions of these trilogies the original black cover 3 disc version & the four disc blue box version on DVD & I had assumed when I saw it had been released yet again this time for the 30th anniversary that it would be just the previous collections facelifted with new box cover, but no they have yet again found more extras to cram the set with. I was umming and arring as to whether I should buy it on blu ray when I had the other DVDs but I am very pleased I did. it was at a reasonable price & went up in price after I bought it & the extra extras are great too. Along with great picture & sound quality & fantastic sound effects on the menu & of course being highly entertaining movies too boot. I would call this box a weekend pack there is so much on the four discs that, if you are into all the extras & finding out all the behind the scenes info & gossip you could easily spend a wet weekend watching it all. five full shiny golden stars!!!!!

This version also includes individual Ultraviolet HD codes for the three movies which are still valid at the time of writing (12th December 2016).
I already own the original release trilogy on Blu-Ray and purchased this updated version purely for the new bonus disc and Ultraviolet codes. Which makes this superb collection even greater value.
I ordered this set, and only after 3 days did I see the language is “Japanese”.
I did some information hunting based on the ASIN, and I found this information regarding language:
Back to The Future Trilogy [Blu-ray] [1985] [Region Free ]
where the Editorial Review states:
“LANGUAGES: English ( DTS 5.1 ), English ( DTS-HD Master Audio ), German ( DTS 5.1 ), Japanese ( Dolby Digital 2.0 ), Japanese ( DTS 5.1 ), Turkish ( Dolby Digital 2.0 )”
I did NOT cancel my order, because I was SURE it is NOT Japanese only.
Well I have now received my Blu-ray set, and I can DEFINITELY CONFIRM:
* It has English for spoken languages (as well as other languages).
* It has English for subtitles (as well as other languages).
It is PERFECT for English speaking customers!!!!!
🙂
Now about the movies:
Following other peoples reviews, I decided to buy this set. As other people have stated, the quality of the transform to Blu-ray is 100%
It is BRILLIANT FANTASTIC! This set contains FOUR Discs (3 movie discs and 1 Extra Features disc)! It is a PERFECT Collector’s Item!
Video = 100%
Audio = 100%
Story = 100%
Collector’s Item = 100%
I already own the 3 disc DVD collection, but this collection is MUCH MUCH BETTER!
My daughter was not born when the film was made and I never saw it at the time. She is hooked and now so am I. What I was missing! I can see why it’s a cult film. Perfect spoof of sci- fi genre and in number 3 the Western. Delightfully amusing send up of Spaghetti Westerns and Clint Eastwood. Over the top acting from ‘The Doc’ is splendid. De Lorean looks great and fun to drive. The extras could be a bit longer but they were done when extras were not so poplar as they are today. Altogether a terrific way to waste a wet afternoon.
