Great to keep pools cover at night time or when not in use. Easy to cover depending on size of pool you may need two people. Very durable. Would buy agai
I didn’t purchase this right away and was instead using the solar cover. Wish I had got it from the start – now that I have the knack, I can put this on myself no problem, it just floats and glides into place if you spread it out beforehand and pull it over gently to start. I’ve had no rips or tears and find it durable enough if you take care. Easily stretches over my 12ft pool and I tie onto the frame when tightened. I bought some plastic C clips for peace of mind, but don’t need them.
Major difference in the amount of chemicals I’m using, much less as it stops them evaporating, and of course is great for keeping debris/dirt out.
I’ve had to take it off and refit it again after very heavy rainfall as water was pooling on top of it and weighing it down, but any other time, it’s not a problem.
Highly recommend.
Needs 2 people to fit this.
Better design would be some plastic clips to hold one side as you do other side.
I put this on by myself (53 years old)
I used washing pegs to hold one side whilst I walked around to fit other side.
Great value for money tho.
I recently purchased the Bestway Cover 4 Seasons for my Above Ground Round Pool with a diameter of 366 cm, and I must say it’s a reliable cover that provides excellent protection throughout the year. This cover has proven its worth in safeguarding my pool from the elements and maintaining water quality.
The quality of the cover is impressive, and it effectively prevents debris, leaves, and other unwanted elements from entering the pool. I appreciate how it shields the water from the harsh weather conditions, ensuring that the pool remains clean and ready for use whenever needed.
However, I found that setting up the cover over a pool of this size can be quite challenging for one person. The process requires more than two people to ensure that the cover is properly aligned and securely fastened. While this setup effort might be slightly more labor-intensive, the added protection it provides makes it worthwhile.
Once properly installed, the Bestway Cover 4 Seasons does an exceptional job in maintaining the pool’s condition year-round. The durability of the cover gives me confidence that it will last through various seasons, providing reliable protection and extending the lifespan of my pool.
In conclusion, the Bestway Cover 4 Seasons is a dependable choice for those seeking year-round protection for their above-ground round pool. Its excellent quality ensures that the pool remains clean and well-maintained, no matter the weather conditions. While setup may require more than two people for a pool of this size, the benefits of its 4-season protection make it a valuable investment.
Pros:
Impressive quality and reliable protection
Shields the pool from debris and harsh weather conditions
Ensures the pool remains clean and ready for use
Durable cover for year-round use
Cons:
Setup may require more than two people for a pool of this size
Love the fact it keeps the heat in. Our pool is so warm without a heater I gave 1 less star as the pool string isn’t great and can easily come off with some wind so I have clipped it to the pool now. Keeps all the bugs out of the pool.
Lower your expectations on the cover alone , it won’t stay on without help .
I bought some straps and towel pegs to assist it and it works great now . We roll it up when we use the pool for ease .
he pool cover itself is great and fits our 10ft pool perfectly. i can manage on my own to install it, i do recommend to tighten the string the first time using it slightly, otherwise you’ll be fighting each other corner not to pop of with each small tug. i wasn’t completely aware of how many holes were in the cover to, i’m assuming they either stop it from blowing up like a bubble from the heat and to let strong chemicals air out, but if ur using this cover to stop debris from coming into your pool either this one is no good for you, or like we did, gaffar tape them up, we left four outter holes open for ventilation but all the middle ones covered:) it does act like heat trap bcus it’s black, and does bring off the initial ‘cold shock’ which is a plus on. i do recommend aside of the many holes it has.
Let this spend some time in the sun and it becomes much more stretchy
Still a 2 person job, possible 1 with some prep and swearing
I found it almost impossible with 2 people to install when I received it (before the sun!)
So like many others I was a bit hesitant after purchasing this and then reading the reviews. For just over 12 it’s a bargain. Extremely good quality, next day delivery I saw that people had difficulty putting it on alone. So What I did was I pulled the draw strings tight and then I tied them in a knot so the toggle couldn’t move. That way the cover goes on easily and stays attached to the sides as you put it round the rest of the pool. I just did it in about 20 seconds because my daughter wants to swim in the pool at 7.22am and the water is actually WARM!!! There is water on a ground sheet – next to the pool- that’s been there all night and it’s FREEZING so DEFINITELY makes a difference to the temperature. 100% recommend will buy again
I think the comments about it dragging in the pool are people who are over filling them. So it drags along the top making it useless. If it’s dragging along the top I would empty some water and see if that helps as mine doesn’t drag at all
Bought the 10ft pool last year but suffered from bugs and debris, constantly fishing bits out of the pool prior to use. Not only does this cover keep the pool largely debris free, it also increases the temp of the water by 0.5 to 1 degree, which is the difference between comfort and shivering at times. Also stop the chlorine and a water from evaporating as quickly so less chemicals and top up required. I read a few reviews prior to buying this saying it’s too small or hard to fit, which couldn’t be further from the truth, I can have this cover on or off in 2 minutes with the help of my 10 year old daughter. I’d you are buying the 10ft pool then this is a must have.
Feels reasonably strong and has a bit of stretch in it if you need it (I don’t for the 3.05m steel frame intex pool, its a good fit). Covers the pool well and keeps insects and wind-blown rubbish from getting in when not using the pool. Has a draw-string which tightens the cover around the frame reasonably well, though i’m not sure how well it will hold if a strong wind gets up.
Unexpected benefit: the cover droops down and sits on top of the water in the pool, and transfers some serious heat from the sun into the water. We have a solar heater mat which has helped to warm the pool a bit, but yesterday, with this cover on all day, by 5pm the top 6 inches of the pool felt like a hot bath. After mixing with the cooler water from below, the pool was a comfortable temp for my son to swim around for an hour without feeling cold (caveat: it was a stupidly hot day, with 39C temps, but there’s no way the water would have been anywhere near this warm without the cover).
So after purchasing this I noticed a few not so favourable reviews. So started to panic.
Once unpacked I attempted to put cover on the pool. It wasn’t happening. One side would fall in everytime I went round to other side. So I roped in hubby. Again not joy. One we had got it on the sides either side of us would drop into pool. So we resorted on laying it on top of water. After a few days of good weather I noticed how much more stretch and flexible the cover was. Like it had expanded. So again with hubby we attempted to put cover on. It was a little fiddly as we were tightening the cord to secure each section. We got there is the end. It fits fine but feel will stretch even more over time. So be patient and it will happen xx
It’s OK. It’s not as bad as some reviewers have stated but it isn’t quite as good as I would have liked….
It does the job of keeping the larger stuff out of the pool but it doesn’t stretch taught over the pool, rather it sits on the surface of the water. When it rains all the dust that accumulates on the cover is washed into the pool through the drainage holes in the cover. Loads better than no cover at all but I’d have paid more for a better design if one had been available.
Still, it keeps leaves and stuff out so it does do the job.
It’s not too difficult to put on by myself and if there are two of you it is easy.
We use a bit of rope to hold it on in windy weather as we found it came off at times. We tie the rope to one of the steel uprights, put the cover on then wind the rope around the pool before tying it off on another upright having done a full 360+ around the pool. It has held it through this years thunder storms.
