These work very well on all sizes of nose, from my own (large) to my wife’s (petite), and really seem to extract whiteheads very reliably. Peeling them off feels nice too!
I wouldn’t but these again, just stick to cleansing and moisturising.
Great product really gets deep into pores unlike other pore strips
These strips are brilliant. I used to buy other brands from the shop that would pull very few blackheads in one go. This brand pulled a ridiculous amount each time (very satisfying). I leave the strip on for a few minutes longer to ensure it’s fully dried and stuck to the blackheads.
Will be buying more!
I used this after washing with their witch hazel pore clarifying cleanser, which i would also recommend, and then i proceeded to wet my nose, It had great adhesion And didnt break etc…, after letting set i removed, although it didn’t remove all the gunk , it was easy to remove and didn’t leave the skin sore, I will use in future!
They are ok, super sticky. But despite that they didn t do much for me. Maybe my pores are too clogged and need something else
When you start using these you have to continue because you have now open “the doors” to mess
Honestly I barely saw anything come off, so was thinking it’s just another bogus product…..then my bf tried it.
Bleurgh to AAAALLLLLLLLLL the gunk and nastiness that came off of his nose! Completely covered! And he is one for religiously washing his face every day etc.
I think some of the reviews that had results a bit like me, just be glad you are not as prone to blackheads and other bits as others!
Having tried many pore strips before I wasn’t so sure these would work but I really wanted to give pore strips another go. I chose this brand, and I am glad I did because after 1 use I couldn’t believe the strip finally got rid of the stubborn blackheads that other strips could not remove. Well happy!
They stick to the skin well, and are easy to peel without pulling too much on my skin and hurting!
Didn’t withdraw as much black heads as I thought it would I’ve got quite a few in my nose but will try again maybe it was my application who knows but wasn’t as impressed as I thought I would be!
Was a bit skeyptical about ordering this product after the mixed reviews however ordered anyway to try them because my skin is bad at the minute and well after a week of trying other products and not having good results – these have done exactly as they said and you can see the results on the strips (as grim as it sounds) you can actually see that it does work as long as you follow the instructions 🙂
Good price, easy to use and from a well regarded manufacturer. I don’t have any issues with this product.
By the way, for those saying they have been sent stock that is out of date – I have yet to see a date *and time* of expiry as shown on the packaging. This leads me to believe that it is not the expiry date but the manufacturing date and time instead!
Overall Honest Thoughts
Pros:
-Having 6 of this in the box is a plus, some strips only contain 3 or 4 which is inconvenient.
-Removes most of the stuff to remove
-Easy to apply. just add water and it will stick
Cons:
-The strips really does hurt, like red hot.
-The corners or edges of the strips don’t stick properly leaving spots
-The strips caused some spots to occur
-Would not advise to use on sensitive ski
I was pleasantly surprised by how much came away with the strip but it still left behind a fair few blackheads. Used this immediately after I had a shower so pores were open. Still going to use these, very easy to use, better than other strips I have used.
I bought this brand on a recommendation and it is a reasonably good product.
Is it “ultra” deep cleansing? No.
Does it work fairly well? Yes.
If you’re a fan of these strips Biore is generally recongised to be the best brand but truthfully, as long as you clean and steam your face 1st the majority of these types of strips will work fairly well.
If you want a brand you can trust then I would recommend this product.
Pros:
– Easy to apply and remove. Some pore strips leave a lot of residue afterwards, and your skin can look very red if they are difficult to remove.
– Does a decent job cleaning out pores and removing dead skin – and it really is quite satisfying when you see all the gunk that has been removed.
– Fully hardens within 15 minutes and easily contours to your nose.
– I have quite reactive, sensitive skin, but have had no reaction when using these pore strips.
Cons:
– Expensive for what they are.
– There’s usually a decent number of blackheads which the strip is unable to remove from your nose, especially if you have pores which are on the smaller side.
Recommendations:
– You should use these strips a maximum of once a week. The adhesive can irritate your skin and if your skin is thin or sensitive you may be causing small tears not visible to the eye – over time this can weaken your skin. Generally you also want to avoid pulling on your skin too much, and using pore strips can exacerbate pre-existing skin conditions and lead to infection.
– These strips are best used after a warm shower which helps open your pores. Your skin must be damp. If you’re struggling to get the strip to adhere to your skin, dip the side with the adhesive very briefly into some lukewarm water before trying again.
i’d say this is good because you leave it on your nose for 20 minutes and you know when to take it off because it has dried completely and it’s stiff so you know it’s taking off your pores completely. However, i don’t know if my blackheads are particularly bad but it was only a short term problem and after a few days they came back to their normal level. but honestly if your blackheads aren’t that bad really recommend it !!
The important thing it to really wet your nose and to stick the strip quite hard onto it by pressing it a lot so its really stuck well, and then wait until its completely dry and the strip has gone hard, then to pull from each side gently at the same time. I would definitely buy again!
I didn’t see much of a result once the pore strip had been removed, however that could be down to my daily routine which includes several deep cleansing products. However I did notice a difference in smoothness; and after my partner tried one there was a visible result shown on the used strip (Yuck!)
First attempt, I placed the strip just a smidgen too high on my nose so I was a little worried about the removal as I had managed to apply it a little on the under eye..
Apply with dry hands, to wet skin and wait 10-15 minutes for the strip to harden before removing.. et voila!
Great to add to the deep cleaning routine, using one strip every month or as needed.
These are easy to apply and use, sometimes they can be a little tricky to remove and it can sting slightly but overall this isn’t a major issue.
I had the best results the first time I used them, it was somewhat satisfying to see everything that had been removed! Unfortunately I haven’t had to same results on repeat uses, despite being some weeks apart. In all honesty I can say that I haven’t noticed a big difference with the black heads on my nose but I feel like they have to be doing some good because I can see what’s been removed from my pores on the strip.
