I originally left it on for 8 minutes and my hair was very purple but I did what it said and kept washing until it was the correct colour. Great product very environmentally friendly company. This tub will last me ages – win win !

Really spot onexactly what I wanted – I went to a different hairdresser and I always get a face frame but it just looked abit dark and orange this time.
I thought maybe I could try to sort out at home by toning and so researched and tentatively bought this one. I assumed it would kust be enough for one usage so was pleasantly surprised that is a big tub that will last me ages and numerous applications
I put it on while I dyed my roots for the last few mins then I put abit more on when washing.. turned out exactly how I wanted! I lighter, ashier blonde which I think looks much better.
Bonus is that it’s cruelty free and vegan!

Have started using my second bold uniq mask and all I can say it is best on the market. Tub lasts about 3 months as not a lot of product needed. Gets off yellow tones and makes your blond hair stand out, I always get compliments on the color of my hair. Tub made of recycled plastic
I rarely leave a review but I had to with this toner mask. It’s smells lovely, easy to apply and worked wonders on my brassy tones in less than 10 minutes. It’s a generous sized tub so I’ve several more applications worth. It’s not harsh like some of the purple shampoos and leaves you’re hair feeling really nice and hydrated. Would definitely buy it again. Very impressed.

This product worked really well. It took all the brassiness out of my hair colour. Was quite good at conditioning as well. Large tub, will last a while. Worth the money.
Really impressed with this purple hair mask. As a natural brunette, when I bleach my hair is does have an orangey/yellow tinge. I leave the mask on for the full 20 minutes and it leaves me with a cool ashy blonde. Gorgeous!
I effed up my hair adding ginger tones (not good)

I did ad per the instructions and boom orange is gone a little went a long way it’s thick and the size of the tub will do me months…and it cane in a lovely box with good gloves

Very hydrating mask. Leaves the hair smooth, easy to comb and shiny.
After I had a bad colouring experience my hair was quite yellow. Just after the first use it managed co give my hair a cold tone. I’m so happy with it. I left it on for about 5 minutes.

I have tried and searched for the best toner and I think I’ve found it! I tried ones after and nothing compared so have gone back to using this only! It doesn’t stain your hair blue like most toners do and the colour lasts for ages! The first time I used it I was afraid of my hair turning blue so left it in for 3 minutes and it worked a little, took the brassiness out but I recommend leaving it in 30-45 minutes to get the icy/platinum look
The first try, I washed my hair and towel dried till it was just damp, I then applied a generous amount of the mask and left it for around 10/15 minutes before washing. Whilst I did see a slight difference it wasn’t anything that blew me away and nothing that I couldn’t achieve with a much cheaper purple shampoo.
The second time round I decided to put the mask on my hair dry, I left it for half an hour, a terrifying half hour as I was nervous that my hair would turn blue completely, but IT DIDNT!! After washing the mask off my hair I was actually blown away. I now have no brassy tones in my hair and the condition of it is fantastic! I would highly recommended this product, even just as an after bleach treatment to make your hair soft and silky again!
I think if your going to give the product a go it’s best on dry hair, for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Tried this today after finding the purple shampoos were drying my hair out. I washed my hair and put this in… left it in for 5/6 minutes and washed it out. Well… the highlights around the front of my face were actually purple! It definitely cools down yellow tones! I used to use Osmo shampoo and I thought THAT was pigmented..! This stuff is good but be careful with highlights! It also had a slightly weird smell when I dried my hair… I’ll probably follow up with another conditioner next time because of that. So yeah, it works, and my hair was soft afterwards, just be careful with how long you leave it in for!
Wow, I love this product I had a Couple of issues to start but the customer service is by far the best I have had so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I put it on my slight grey hair with blond gold areas, which looked a bit brassy, I was actually after silver grey all over, that’s exactly what I got. I love the colour and condition of my hair, I will always use this product in the future, so kind to your hair it feels so soft and silky

Husband offers to bleach your hair …it was so bright yellow I was pleased it wasn’t summer as I would have been covered in black flies. I wasn’t sure what to do until I read reviews on this brand . I have found if I put on dry hair and leave for about an hour I have a platinum white blonde. Wear gloves or be prepared to paint nails. My hair is very long and it’s lasting well . Easy to get a good coverage. Very happy with the results.

Okay, I have been buying this for years! Love it. Works a treat, totally banishes all yellow tones. BUT, this is totally my fault by the way, I usually leave it on for at least an hour, never had any problems, always ashy lovely tones. This time however it turned BLUE. My entire fringe was bright neon blue. And it doesn’t wash out I’m afraid. After 12 hours of online research and soaking in lemon juice it’s only faded to a baby blue. So users beware. It just went weird for me this time. It didn’t wash out either, no matter how much anti dandruff/clarifying shampoo I used, washing up liquid and even home remedies of vitamin C and lemon juice.
I’d definitely recommend this product it’s well worth the money.
23.12.22-I now have a grey fringe, bits of purple and blue on my head as well as yellow. Not the result was hoping for. Completely messed up my hair for Christmas. Hoping it washes out just like the box says -sadly do not recommend this product.

But you can just jump into shower and wash it again and the purple lightens.
My natural grey colour was so much brighter and looks in great condition.
Definitely reduced the brassy colour I had in particularly the ends. I look forward to continuing to use the purple mask and get a whole overall grey shiny colour on the future .
I’m not going to lie, when I opened the pot the colour was terrifying! It is a beautiful purple but the thought of it going on my hair was really intimidating! It is a beautiful creamy texture, the perfect thickness to apply with control. Definitely wear the gloves provided unless you want to look like a Smurf for the day, and start lower with the time. I only had it on my hair for 8 minutes and it did more than enough for my hair! If I’d left it on for more than 10 mins I reckon I’d have purple hair right now
It made my hair feel and smell lovely and the toning itself was perfect for what I wanted. I also barely used 1/5 of a pot so this will last me a while!
If you want yellow tones out of your hair then definitely give this a try, but make sure you read the instructions provided so you don’t end up purple!
I had a bit of a beaching disaster, I have naturally dark brown hair and tried to touch up my highlights at home. Big mistake, my hair wet a horrendous yellow colour. I panic bought this mask as well as some blue toning shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner made the colour worse. THANK GOD for this mask, unfortunately I did not take a before photo but as you can see my hair is now a lovely ashy blonde colour which is the colour I wanted.
I first tried the mask for 10 minutes this didn’t do much. I used the mask again for a full 20 minutes and all of the brassiness disappeared, I was left with this lovely blonde colour.
I noticed yesterday that my hair was looking slightly brassy again, so I applied the mask again for 25 minutes, and like magic my lovely ashy blonde colour returned, no brassiness in sight.
If you have very light blonde hair be careful as this product will turn the hair grey after so long, I have a few lighter strands of hair that almost went grey.
However if you have naturally dark hair that has been bleached a dark blonde, I suggest going for 20/25 minutes if your looking a bit brassy.
The only con is that this mask is extremely drying, so use plenty of moisturising product afterwards. Aside from that this is a life saver!
For me it’s a really great alternative to toning that doesn’t damage my hair, but actively helps it as it’s incredibly deep conditioning.
I’d also like to add that I initially purchased this product a little guiltily as I’m really trying to cut down on my plastic purchasing but I was so desperate for something to fix my hair. This could be stated in the product info, which to be truthful, I never read, but I was delighted to find out that all their packaging is not only completely recyclable but is actually made from 100% recycled ocean plastic! So you’re actually helping the oceans when you buy from this company! The gloves that the products come with are also biodegradable so if single use non-recyclable plastic or even recyclable plastic is a concern for you, and you’re struggling to find something to tone your bleached hair I highly recommend this mask.
Their products are also paraben, sulfate AND cruelty free. I can’t praise this company and their products enough – they’re great for your hair, the environment and animals. What more could you want?
P.S – I’ve included some photos of a before and after the first use of the mask on my previously toned hair, so you can see the difference it made. Excuse the embarrassing pics lol these were the only ones I have from that time frame to show the notable difference.
My hair is medium length, straight and fine but lots if it.
It was looking great until a disastrous colour a year ago. I went from red to brown then back to bleached blonde, which is brassy and proving hard to eradicate!!
I’ve had rose gold highlights earlier this year – looked great for a week and then diminished to brassy blonde!
Through the height of the lockdown (March – July) I grew my natural mid brown roots to a natural balayage and then returned to my hairdresser to have ash/ grey blonde highlights through the mid sections. Again, looked great for a couple of weeks until the return on the brassy yellow tones!!
So, thought I would try this mask as returning again to the hairdressers is expensive and no fun anymore.
I did a patch test as instructed- a little bit daunting at first as the product is very thick and very purple!! – all seemed ok, so I went for it and did the whole head and left for 5 minutes. I wish I had taken a photo- I am so pleased with the finished result, I really do look like I have had a professional colour- the highlights look the same as when the hairdresser did it a month a go – I now have cool ash highlights – really pleased!
Will monitor to see how often I need to apply, but there is plenty of product so should last at least three months even if I apply once a week – if you want to eliminate brassy highlights or perk up your greys – I can recommend this produc
So last night I left it on for about half an hour, concentrated on the top and I can definitely notice a difference in my tone overall. It’s lighter and clearer with far, far less brassy notes in it!!
I did notice also just how silky and soft my hair is feeling after using this…it feels so lovely and healthy and I adore it.
My only issue with it is for the price (I’ve never paid this much for silver hair product!!) there really isn’t as much as there first appears. I think I have enough for one last application, which will be three in total.
My hair isn’t incredibly long or even that thick, and I applied it as little as possible to get it on….so that’s my only issue. It is overall a good mask. But for its price you don’t get too much out of it. Otherwise I really do like it. Just wish there was way more for the price!!
