Very happy with this, ability to tilt forward angle could be higher, but rest of the motion is great. Really like option of plenty fixing points, which makes it properly fixed to the wall.
Having never bought one of these brackets before I decided to read the reviews about this one, they were right,it is extremely strong and light, put up in 20 mins by my Son,it took my 65″ Samsung with no problems at all, would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a wall bracket that is inexpensive, robust and easily fitted, very impressed.
Very decent construction. Well made. Easy to install by myself. Personally I always buy a set of wall plugs and bolts because I don’t trust the ones that come with products like this. It’s the first things companies skimp out on. Could do with a second person to help guide the TV onto the mount but can be done single handed. So far thr TV has not fallen of the wall and doesn’t look like it’s going to
Strong and sturdy looks really good however I was sent the wrong size bolt tightener for both brackets meaning I had to go out and pay 6.48 at screw fix for a new one as the holes had been drilled in the walls ready to assemble. All in all good however a minor problem along the way which at the time was quite inconvenient.
Very easy fit the bracket with 8x 2″ wood bolts through a drywall (in this instance) into a precut length of timber decking (which is a good match for bracket height) fitted securely between studwork at rear. Cavity retaining bolts can be used too, but carry limitations on weight and wall stress.
Into a solid wall it’s best to use 2.5″ bolts into quality wall plugs.
The bracket comes with all of the TV hanging brackets and fixings, which are very straightforward to fit, choosing the best bolt length for your unit. This is now ideally a two person assist to pop the TV onto the bracket sliders (bracket arms fully extended) , then slid carefully into position and tightened with the two retaining screws. Once fitted the bracket is easily adjusted for rake, and then folded back carefully flat, or at best angle for viewing. Rake bolts can be tightened if necessary on a heavier model TV.
Recommended: Absolutely, as its among the best in its price range that I have yet fit. Total job duration on a solid wall should take no longer than 20-30 minutes.
Premium feeling and very sturdy! I have plasterboard walls so wanted a better tv mount rather than a single arm but wanted tilt and swivel and this did not dissapoint there! Only issue was that the tilt feature tilts slightly more on one side so the tv took some adjusting to get it straight! Everything you need is in the pack (not plasterboard wall plugs though it comes with brick plugs) for the price it’s bang on the money
The supplied wall plugs have a lot of bite in the first few millimetres and cause the plug to spin and not tighten anymore. I had to use rawlbolts in the end as the usual fixes to secure the plug didn’t work. Once up, it is a sturdy bracket.
This is supplied with many different screws but the smallest is M4 12mm, my Panasonic TV states maximum screw length is 9mm. I had to cut down two screws to make it work. Also on that TV the mounting points are very close together which makes it a tad wobbly. The instructions need improvement, not enough data on which screws to adjust to level and tilt. I had to make quite a lot of adjustments to enable all the tilt/swivel/extend functions to work.
But after that, it does the job so I’m pleased with the outcome
Firstly throw away or give the Spirit Level supplied with the Wall Mount to your child as a toy. if you use it your TV will be mounted sideways. Use your own spirit level. The TV Wall Mount is well built, Easy to put up when using our own level as stated. it can be adjusted so glare from windows do not bother your watching enjoyment.
Decent mount for a 43″ LED TV, providing good distance from the wall to position from beyond a recess next to a chimney breast.
It provides 10mm bolts for wall mounting, which I optioned to use my own 7mm screws and washers to mount as I tend to not trust certain wall fixings out of the packs.
Straight forward mounting prices, however would advise against using the provided spirit level as it wasn’t correct in comparison to my own.
Bought for around 30 on a “limited time sale”, and I expected 30 function.
It does the job, there are no bells and / or whistles, the main oversight being the vertical pivot mechanism being completely unassisted and unnecessarily annoying to align straight. If you have a heavier TV mounted to this, I recommend setting and tightening the vertical pivot adjustment before mounting the TV, since once the TV is on it will most definitely fall to the lowest position – do note that using a spirit level is required to get it aligned properly, since it is adjusted independently on either side.
I also opted to use proper expansion bolts over the cheap plugs and screws included, since they looked and felt a bit cheap and I’d rather be safe than sorry. A set of 60-80mm expansion bolts, if you are mounting into a brick wall, are about 10 for a 10 pack and will save you a massive headache if the included plugs don’t stay in the wall.
Overall for 30 it is heavy duty enough to hold a TV reliably, although I would be wary about the included mounting hardware.
What more can I add to the headline? It’s a doddle to instal and really only requires a drill, some Rawlplugs and a spirit level (which might actually come with it, although I’ve forgotten exactly). It took me about 20 minutes to set it up, mount it to the holes that I drilled in the wall and fir my TV to it. The mount folds flat against the wall when required, tilts up, down and sideways and is all you could possibly want. BRILLIANT!
Easy to set up and pretty decent. Doesn’t work on my monitor but that’s my bad. Loses a star as the price went down after I purchased, despite it being a “lightening deal” at the time.
The bracket is good for the price considering I was going to buy something similar to the movement of this one which is full motion from curry’s costing 149 until I saw this one on Amazon with delivery it cost around 42 I’ve only had it up on the wall for a week but seems to be good
I brought this due to the ability to move the screen different directions if I want to pull it away from the wall. It was also an affordable price compared the ones in the 90-110 range. It works great and easy to put up, seems solid and robust. The only downside is the length of the screws provided. With the 60mm screws provided they weren’t long enough and ripped out of the wall straight away, I went to Screwfix and brought 100mm screws which worked a treat. A small purchase required for a decent priced TV bracke
This was a beast to attach to the wall. It took two of us over two hours to successfully drill into the wall the four nuts that hold the frame. It might be partly to the condition of the wall itself, but the wall brackets didn’t seem to accommodate the screws very well so we ended up using our own wall brackets. The included ones just didn’t seem to fit the wall brackets.
There is a full range of accessories that are quite handy, including a hdmi lead that is always useful somewhere (although if you already have a TV chances are you already have one). The included spanner isn’t particularly useful and I would recommend using a spanner set and/or adjustable spanner to get it fully tight. Once the hard part of fitting it to the wall is done, the rest is quite easy.
Two people are definitely needed to fit the TV.
Oh, and the instructions are rubbish but that’s no surprise really.
