When our Bosch hedge trimmer suddenly stopped working, I considered buying a new one but thought I would try just replacing the battery.
This fits perfectly, and also comes with a visual display of battery capacity – so better than first battery.
Glad I did it – trimmer working fine again.
Bought for a Bosch hedge trimmer,as I already had a Bosch cordless drill. Disappointed to find that the new battery doesn’t fit my existing charger, so then had to purchase a suitable charger.
Good battery and everything works well. Warning for purchasers, be aware if buying tools that you think the batteries will fit. Ours didn’t interact with each other. Read up as could cost you money!!
Silly me – I did not comprehend fully the description – despite looking like the battery charger for another Bosch item, this is the battery only – so I cannot charge it! And from Amazon it is 2 weeks until they can despatch the charger. So I cannot really comment on performance etc until the charger arrives.
I was going to buy a new vacuum cleaner as the batteries on my Bosch turbo cleaner has lost power and it lasted only 10-15 minutes , so when I came across with this replacement battery and ordered one,,,,
,(2.5 Ah) ,,,, I am happy with its power , it lasted for around an hour and more in one use . Fits my Bosch turbo brush vacuum cleaner Series 6″well.
OEM part in original sealed package. Bought to replace earlier and now discontinued rechargeable battery for Bosch 26Li strimmer. Thankfully, Power4All !8v batteries are backwards compatible, and this battery fits my strimmer. However, the charging contacts are different, so I bought a used charger in good condition at a sensible price. Overall a good solution for an old but serviceable strimmer.
I bought this battery to replace an old one on a cordless Bosch vacuum cleaner when it began to not hold charge.
This new battery has slightly different stickers/labels to the old one but it fits exactly the same, charged it up today and used it to vacuum the full house.
Overall no issues here.
As per the headline and also in a compatible Bosch hedgecutter – battery life in the latter is very good and I can cut both sides & the top of a 5ft high x 40ft long privet hedge on a single charge
I have the All 4 18v combi drill, multi tool & vacuum. Just using the 1.5 batteries from the drill was not always enough so bought this to give me a bit more run time & spare battery. It’s official Bosch and works. I have had no issues with the charger but I only bought my drill less than 12 months ago so it has the most up to date charger so charges perfectly fine.
Bought this as one of the batteries from my new drill would not work. After being fobbed off by Amazon I contacted Bosch and was abruptly told I needed the embosed number on the battery to process, phone put down. Found the PRINTED number and called back, got the same person and explained the difference in simple terms. Battery changed and told it was faulty, hence only 4 stars for product, zero for Amazon customer service.
I started a return process but had the post office refuse carriage, so now am buying a compatible charger!
Overall an expensive mistake as i may as well have bought the sander complee with battery and charger.
