How do you rate a product that is just an accepted requirement.
I can taste whether my tea has been made with tap water or filterd, and our water is good.
If your tea tastes foul, you need to change the filter.
Great product replacing old one where handle plastic broke after few yrs of use. Quite a but heavier than the regular size so not suitable product for anyone who may have issue with this
Its make my life easy, now i no more, carry weight on my back, just fill the jug from tap water, and it purifiers it, and we all drink, no side effects, no sickness i feel after using brita jug.
We live in a hard water area and it’s amazing how much of a flavour and texture difference this Brita filter makes. I recently bought a steel water bottle and have been using it exclusively since getting the filter jug. I actually wish my gym had a filter too! Makes drinking enough water easy – just have to remember to fill it up after you pour a drink – that way you always have filtered water.
I don’t think it would quite fit in our fridge door but I’m not too bothered about it being ice cold. Our tap water is pretty cold anyway.
Not had to change the filter yet but it was a doddle to put in so I’m sure it’ll be easy. The small screen telling you how much time is left on the current filter should allow me to order more in plenty of time.
The filter jug is easy to use and the water tastes so much better, we don’t need to clean the scale out of the kettle anymore I would recommend this product.
After a few years of using a similar brita one, it was time to change after the previous one cracked. The inlet flap is so much better than the previous design as it doesn’t build up limescale. Easy to wash. Good value for money.
Good size clean lines and works well to improve water quality keeping the kettle and other vessels mark free – the system of when to change the filter is so/so as broadly it counts down 4 weeks so if you are away on holiday or increase consumption the decision is down to you – we have a glass kettle so when the inside base starts to slightly ‘cloud’ then filter is changed / finally recycling is a challenge but all in all would still buy again and recommend
This is my first water filter purchase, its good size, definitely recommend this size for families, definitely can taste the difference, much better taste to the water, live in a hard water area, hardly any limescale build up in the kettle since using this filter.
I’ve been using Brita filters for years, the new style seems to feel less sturdy. So the major problem I have with this one is that I can not fully close the lid properly. Besides that water filter is clear.
The water does tastes better after filtering
I also use the filtered water to wash my hair as well because the water is too hard at my area
I think it does soften the water and my hair seems more manageable

The jug is good too but I think the plastic could be thicke

Within 2 days the bottom was caked in limescale… So I bought this Britta Filter!
A few days later the limesacle had dissapeared from the kettle and looks great!
Water tastes great! tea and coffe taste great… As a AVID tea and coffee drinker.. I swear my teeth are whiter too… but who knows…
In my house hold we go through 2 jugs a day!
Fill it up, and once it has filtered, you can fill it up again!
The LCD “timer” on the top is in no way linked to the actual filter… You just loose a bar once a week…
So Using the glass kettle as a guide.. after about 2 weeks the limescale starts to appear again! albeit VERY slowly compared to before!
But change the filter when it appears.. and within a day it is gone again!
So for me and my usage.. I replace the filter every 2 weeks! I buy a pack for 6 for 20something and thats a 3 month supply! perfect!
If you drink a LOT or water, tea, coffee etc… I would highly recomend this!
I always thought of these filters as a gimick that don’t really do anything! But WOW! was I happy to be wrong! these are truly amazing! money well spent!
I bought the blue as I bought white last time.
I have used Brita JUGS for DECADES, but moved away to 3rd party replacement filters some time ago.
Only thing, I had to keep the old filter holder part – this has a valve for PLUS cartridges I assume, Waterdrop does not.
Good jug otherwise, holds enough to fill a rapid boil kettle completely in one go.
Lightweight – empty – so not too bad full.
Easy enough to clean.
No I never bother with the indicator thingy in the lid, just keep track on the phone and whiteboard also set reminder on phone.
This jug is all that you need.
I am impressed with the taste of the water. I would say it is soft taste, dont even know how to explain properly.
It has a quite large capacity but the most important is that I see how long it takes to basically filter the water. When it is full to filter the 3.5l of water it takes a couple of minutes for the whole amount of water to be ready to drink which means the filter does the job properly. I am not sure it its really 3.5l seems a bit less but I am happy with the jug. When you put water inside you dont have to wait for the jug to filter the whole amount, you can start pouring straight away(to drink) which is great.
VERY IMPORATNT to know is that on top it has a marker that you have to press to know the lifetime of the filter that is inside. Basically the filter is for 30 days then it is recommended to be changed.
