Great light with varying modes. You can drop the side lights to light a wider area or fold them up for all round lighting. Easily portable for night trips to loo etc.
Can be used several ways ie open ‘petals’ or closed with main centre light. Has a hook for hanging. Very good light. USB battery length not as good as you might want unless on charge but gives a few hours. Very happy with it.
I’ve had expensive big lamps on the past that don’t go as bright as this or last ad long. Yes the button could be easier to find on a dark night while busting for the loo. But don’t let that stop you buying a good bargain.
I researched for hours for a good light for camping and took a risk with this one. We were so impressed! The best camping light! Because of the moving panels it fills the whole big tent with light. The different brightness options were brilliant. We had it on all night until morning then recharged it for the next night. Honestly, couldn’t fault it. So pleased with this purchase!
It’s just a great bit of kit – the light that it omits is just astounding for the size of the lamp.
Now I’ve got two lol and in the main flight path of Healthrow won’t put the SOS flasher on just in case lol
This is quite a novel light with the drop down light fins and does provide sufficient light. Only slight dislike like other reviewers was the on/ off switch, if you hang it like we did in the sleeping compartment of our tent it’s not easily accessible, that said, don’t be put off, it is worth the money and did its job
Bizarrely, Amazon changed my delivery instructions from ‘Inside Front Porch’ to ‘Outside Front Door’ (this change remains despite my repeated protests) and, as I aim not at home in the week, it got left in the rain. I was going to return (along with the rest of the order, which I am still returning as they were much more expensive items), but I needed one lamp for my camping trip so I took this. It worked brilliantly, how long for, given the drenching, who knows, but for now, its all good.
We bought this as a nightlight, to be left on in the bathroom when we have young visitors.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the charging port is not adequately waterproofed, but that doesn’t matter to us as it won’t be in the rain. What does matter is the run-time of a fully-charged battery, and we found that, on its ‘low’setting’, it ran for a total of 15 hours and 45 minutes on its first charge (from a standard mobile charger).
In any case, it’s always useful to have a battery-powered lantern in case of power cuts, and this would be a very useful in that role. It’s very light, and with the fold-out light-emitting wings and the light on the underside, the field of illumination can be tailored to the situation.
This light is perfect for camping. The clip for hanging in the tent is excellent. The light options are more than what you need when camping. And the charge holds for a long time. I’m very happy with my purchase
The Blukar Camping Lantern Rechargeable exceeded my expectations with its exceptional battery life and innovative design. I already know i can use it for a lot more than just my camping trips. This will be useful in emergencies, fishing, or hiking, this lantern is a versatile companion you can rely on.
This was a pleasant surprise. Small price but big light! Really bright and versatile. Easy to use and it’s actually a nice looking thing. Has a hook so you can use an lantern but I’m using it as a table lamp in the garden.
I know these are camping lights but I order a couple as back up lights over winter incase of any power cuts.
The lanterns came on time were bright and easy to use.
They charge easily by usb c wires and last several hours on max brightness.
There is a lower setting to extend the length of time, and you also set it to flash (similar to a strobe light) or have the light from the base like a torch.

This lamp is our new favourite when out camping or out in the van. Good quality product with a range of brightness levels. Good value for Money as it holds charge well and can be charged almost anywhere that takes a usb connecto
The biggest fault I found is the same that others mentioned. The charge point is on the top of the lamp, and the cover to it’s about as trustworthy as a politician seeking re-election. I had it hanging from the ridge line and saw it pop open as a gust of wind hit, and it wasn’t blowing hard.
I can see it happening in wind and rain and the charge point getting a good soaking. Even hanging it inside the tent you could get condensation dripping onto it. I used a strip of insulating tape to seal it down.
The light is strong and solid, 7 different modes including SOS and fast strobe, nice variations available with the fold down ears. I had 3 ears 1/2 way down and the 4th aiming at the tent (I was using 2 similar lamps, 1 either side of the tent) and had very good light all around. The folding ears stayed as I put them, the hinges seems solid.
For the 11.59 I paid, it’s a decent light, just be mindfull of the charge point rubbe
This gives great lighting options. Light at bottom as down Light but the 4 side lights can position at various points to direct the light out or down. It would be better it each or pair of lights could be controlled to give more lighting option.
This is the second time I have purchased these lanterns, I originally purchased them when there were threats of power cuts. They are convenient, and quickly recharged. I always keep one on at night at the bottom of the stairs to avoid disturbing others by switching on the main light. On a full charge, they give many hours of bright even light. A Great find and excellent value for money

it can be a simple down lamp, or you can open the petals and have a very large light footprint.
There are several brightness settings and its light, rechargeable and easily packed.
This is a must for campers and I also found it very useful when fishing
Great prodct, bought for hanging in tents and for sitting out in camping chairs when its difuse light is not to glary and evenly lights due to the petals.
But I also use it as a work light when doing DIY etc. Couldn’t improve on it. Well except maybe remove a stupid strobe setting 😛
I like that you can direct the light with the move able sides. The switch on top can be a bit hard to find in the dark part from that it’s a good ligh
Needed this at very short notice for my daughter’s camping party. Wasn’t expecting much but pleasantly surprised. Very affordable and a great little item. Seems sturdy and robust and does what it says on the tin. Bright with a dimming option, plus a number of ways to project the light – outwards, downwards etc, great buy and super quick delivery.
This light was excellent for my camping trip light,powerfull,bright and portable it’s a great design with the ability to operate up the light blades and spread more light good battery life and definitely would recommend it to others

I am really happy with my purchase (so pleased I brought a second one). This is a small but powerful light ( i had brought a different brand but the light was not as powerful as this one). It’s also very light in weight so ideal for hanging from a tent. It’s alot smaller than a standard camping lantern to its easy to store and transport. The different light setting options are also a bonus. I don’t have any negatives to mention about this product. I have not yet used this lantern camping so cant comment on the battery life but my first impressions are good ones. This was a bargin at 12.99.
Great camping light with several modes. Once charged it will last for around four evenings of about five hours continuous illumination on the lower brightness setting – bright enough in a three man tent.
Worth the money. Lasted 5 nights on our last camping trip before it needed recharging, the usb C charging cable is included, no plug. Range of brightness can be selected. Glad I bought it.

I purchased this for a rainy day that as yet to come. However I did tested that one time when I opened the package and it’s seems bright enough, thats all I can say for now.
I’m very impressed with this light so far. On the lower setting it provided significantly more light than the other lights I took with us, and was sufficient to light a large family tent. I like the way the light can be directed as needed. We camped 3 nights at a music festival, which meant we didn’t use it enough to run the batteries down (so I can’t really rate the battery life as yet), but so far I’m very happy.
I’ve bought 2 of these now to use in my storage locker for when the main corridor lights go out (they’re on motion sensors so switch off when there hasn’t been any movement in that part of the hallway for a while) and they’re great – they save me having to keep walking down the corridor to trigger the sensor that activates the lights when I’m in the middle of something or blocked in by my stuff at the back of the room….I also love the way the ‘petals’ unfold to alter the direction of the light and would definitely recommend this produc
Just back from 9 nights camping and this only started to fade on the last night, without having needed charging at all. I love the way the sides fold down. If there is anything I would change, it would be the hook that you attach the light to the tent with. It was a windy week away and I felt that to rely on the hook alone would risk the light crashing to the floor. It did one night and it is fairly heavy so the hook came out of position. I fixed it back in though and then attached a carabiner type thing through the hook and thus securing it to the tent. Lovely light though and would still buy again.
I have bought 3 of these rechargeable lights, they are superb and the different types of illumination is geniusso bright even on lowest setting.

Brilliant multiple ways of having this illuminated. Battery seems to last plenty and has so many uses with the different configurations. Plenty of light to read/play games when on full with the petals, but on the dimmest setting enough to change without disturbing other tent users.

Bought this for the bathroom, problems with the light switch, so needed something temporary and cheap. This was surprisingly bright for the size, charges up quite quickly. Did the job very well. Will come in handy when the problem is fixed. As long you have somewhere to charge it, will be very adequate for camping.
The item were perfect, exactly as described. Only took 3 days to receive and I live in Ireland. Absolutely delighted, would order again.

Second one that I’ve bought? Really good lanterns, only gave 4 stars as had to replace first one as charging point dropped into lantern and left us unable to recharge it ? So got see how long this one will last before I give 5 stars . Would recommend tho .
I fully charged then left one on (full brightness, all five panels) all night and it lasted way beyond the 10 hours advertised. Plus, it only took one panel on the dimmer setting to light my living room during the power cut so it could potentially last 50+ hours on one charge if you keep it on minimum.
I like the SOS mode, that could be extremely helpful if you’re unlucky enough to be lost, broken down or trapped somewhere at night. There’s also a strobe setting if you fancy a cheap rave lol.
I’ve seen a couple of reviews saying the hook doesn’t lie flat but it does – however good luck to your fingernails trying to lift it up again lol.
All in all, great light at a great price.

There is two variations of flashing . One fast and one slower.
The USB port is at the top and protected from the outside elements by a rubber cap. Te on /off button is also at the top.
At the top of the lantern is a hook so you can hang it anywhere.
The petals all of them open up. So it looks a little like a fan when this is hung up makes a very effective lighting system
Its lightweight, but stable .
I had it switched all on night to test it out first on the bright light with the petals closed and then on the dimmer light with petals closed. Its very good. Throws out a lot of light and you do have good visibility.
I also tried it as the (fan shape) in a pitch black room. I was amazed it lit the room up really well. If you hang the light i. it is really good.
