For the First look I was disappointed because its a small watch ..after using few week I started loving this compact time machine..now it’s my favourit watch I love it more that my smartwatch..
I got this Casio watch to have a more precise, better fitted watch to keep me on track for my classes. This spiffy watch, which while not a Rolex or an Omega, lets me know exactly what the time is (down to the second!) and what today’s date is–all I need to know! At its price point, I wear it all the time without worry for damage, and it looks surprisingly sharp considering the materials it is made out of. What more could I ask for?
Sorry Casio minus a star, why oh why would you design a watch manufacture that timepiece and include the worst designed green illumination, isn’t the light supposed to flood the interior of the entire 2cm 1cm window it barely manages to up enough juice to illuminate 1mm.
How this essential element of a timepiece was approved at every stage from RND right up to the customers hands having passed every test and who’s idea was the lovingly rendered swamp green, was that Mrs Hulk or Mr Hulk/Banner – this is the nothing of note to dislike that I totally forgot about.

I love casio and I almost totally love this watch sad
a good watch, but not particularly durable and is 5+ seconds ahead of regular time after a week of resetting it. has hourly and settable alarm (either can be turned on or off) and a stopwatch. the light that allows you to view the time in the dark is dim, and doesnt light the seconds enough to be easily readable. for a 30 (casio msrp) watch however, this is worth every penny
Nothing to dislike about this watch. This series is around for couple of decades, proven successful track record.
Excellent value for the price, you get what you pay for. Everyone should have one.
The light is useless ( and presumably a stronger one would deplete the battery ). Otherwise a useful basic watch at a very reasonable price. Haven’t had it long enough to assess reliability, but Casio has a good name in that respec
The best watch I’ve ever had. Took me ages to find the perfect watch that had an alarm, stop watch, night light, waterproof, date etc. The colour is perfect too.

Ok I might be biased because it’s always Casio for me, they are always durable, have lots of features and easy to use (don’t need to read a manual). This Casio is no different and its the first casio which feels it’s really made for women. It is light, thin and looks really cool. Only giving 4 star because compared to Casios I have had in the past this one is not as water resistant and the light is very poor.

The Casio F91-W is widely regarded as one of the most well known watches of all time. Cheap, durable, and known to withstand tough environments, it’s difficult to say it’s not legendary in the watch world.
Love the watch, really very thin and light. I don’t like feeling something sticking on my hand, so I didn’t wear watch in the past. This watch is so light I almost forgot I have a watch on my hand. It is very comfortable and I can wear to sleep without any discomfort. The back light is weak but I have no problem reading all the info in darkness.
My only complaints are that the buttons are very mushy, and the light is extremely dim. There’s also the fact that the light buttons doubles as the timer reset button, so if you’re using your timer in the dark you won’t be able to see what time you record.

It has great design that creates a sentimental value within the wearer.
With its modern 80s futuristic twist, it has a retro feel, yet it also has a classic feel and is an optimistic time piece.
Recreating the nostalgia of the beginning of the 80s digital future but today.
It’s design is pure finesse.
A watch who’s purpose is to create feeling. Not to portray an image for acceptance.
This is a hidden gem, that only those it appreciate design more than marketing can appreciate.
The working class Rolex
Wanted a basic watch and this does the trick and also has a lot of nostalgic chic to it. It’s kind of cool, in a way. The digital watch beep beep sounds are the sounds of childhood.
Creates the urge to watch the intros to various 80’s shows about talking cars, wolfish choppers and a team you can call when no one else can help…
Here about a year and a half later and the watch is still functioning perfectly.
A few scratches on the exterior – the gold coating got somewhat rubbed away after aprox. 6 months revealing a similar tan color underneath – not much to worry about for me as I choose this watch as a functional piece. Still a nice looking piece and I get the odd complement here and there, although this could just be your typical throw-away comment. All-in-all I’m glad with my purchase and would recommend this watch for anyone looking for the functionality of a casio with a little flare of style.

Lovely watch, and does the job. It’s more fit for people with smaller wrists but others who have bigger wrists could also fit it! It does tend to scratch easily but for the price can’t complain.
BUT-
To replace the strap is very tedious. You must look at the watch strap and there will be an arrow. You need to push into the small hole at the side with a small pin in that direction. However no matter how much I try to push it just won’t come out.
Edit:
1. The light on the watch is extremely dim and so you won’t be able to really use it much
2. I had to cut the watch strap and use pliers to get the rod out of the holes.
Got this for my husband, as a military man he loves the F91W casio but wanted one in green. The brighter colours seemed a bit young so thought this would be better. The colours are nice, the watch itself seems like usual casio standard however the night light on it seems a lot dimmer than previous ones we’ve had. It says unisex but the strap seems more like a child’s size. It does fit but on the last link so if you have bulky wrists this is not for you
I actually got this for my 10 year old son who goes through watches like his underwear. (He had a Casio watch for 7 years n wanted similar to his older brothers)..
I brought a cheap one coz he don’t really wear them, he loves it.
It didn’t come In original box just in a bubble wrap what I found odd (is it fake I think) the watch still working after 2 months. (I’m abit funny when ordering things like watches as I think they are fake on Amazon..but my son didn’t like anything from the high street).

Cheap reliable digital watch . Bought it as an inexpensive, compact watch to use at work where i don’t want to risk damaging my vintage automatic analog watches or take out my phone when operating machinery.
It does the job perfectly for that .
The only bad point that will annoy some people is that the backlight is not very good but I don’t use it at night so it doesn’t actually bother me but if you want a cheap Casio with a proper backlight a W217 W-86. If you don’t then this is cheaper and will do the job
I’ve been having an metal allergy issue with my previous watch, and after searching through all the ladies watches, I remembered that I used to like the Casio watches, and didn’t have any allergies at all. I ordered the watch above and delivery was the next day. Need good eyes to read the instructions. After a couple of goes, I’d memorised what the button function were, and set up the watch to the time, etc. I’ve had it a week, and its kept good time. Best of all, I don’t have that horrible allergy to the metal backing. It’s stainless steel and, as in the past, I’ve had no bad reactions.

This is the 2nd time I have bought this item. After just under two years of wearing it pretty much everyday, the silver paint on the face had chipped and worn off, and the little band that keeps the excess strap tucked against the wrist had snapped so I bought a new one simply for that reason. It was still working perfectly and still waterproof. I wore this everyday for 13 weeks at a summer camp where it was regularly in the pool, lake, having paint thrown over me etc and it was super durable. Casio is a well-known brand for a reason and at this price you can’t beat it. I also own a silver metal version of this watch for occasions/days out.
I like the colours used, they provide a good combination. Resistant, but made of plastic. Overall, good value for money; package with instructions and well-packed. I use it for daily wear, but overall a good watch.
The light is somewhat bright but you would be able to tell time at 3am in a dark room for example, so the face of the watch would be visible. Just bear in mind that the light potency is low. I would ultimately suggest to check the watch’s brand website and search for this model. Hope this is helpful.
There’s not much to say on the performance aspect of the watch as it’s a Casio and Casio’s will either last a lifetime and be indestructible or will blank out in the first few days…. Luckily I’ve always found the former to be the standard.
This one is exactly the same as the classic F-91W, except that it has a gold painted face trim. Definitely one for special occasions (Birthday’s, Wedding’s, Bar Mitzvah’s…)
I would say that I got mine when the price had been reduced to the same as a normal F-91W (8.99). I don’t think the normal price (c.23) is really worth it, against the price of the standard one, for the Gold Trim, as there are no extra features or anything. But it’s still cheap yet reliable, so go for it. Still looks cool.
It’s working like a charm, it’s small so fits perfectly under a shirt and i love the combination of black and gold colours.
Setting the time is as simple as it gets in electronic watches, it takes less than 30 secs.
It’s also very comfortable when you type in a laptop, as the small size doesn’t bother you and the whole strap is plastic / resin, so as there are no metallic parts there’s no danger in causing any damage to the computer.
True, the strap is for people with average wrists (may not be the optimal choice for some men, but perhaps you can change the strap). Also, the light isn’t the brightest, but gets the job done whenever you need it.
In my mind it looks much more expensive (perhaps the colour combination helps) and although i have much more expensive watches (well, it’s hard to have cheaper!) i always prefered to wear this one! 🙂
For 15, it’s like cheating.
Only drawback is that the colour began “fading” around the corners, but that was hardly noticable if you didn’t inspect the watch closely.
I plan to buy this again when i place another Amazon order, although i have many more watches.
I really like these watches, because of the look (I needed something to go with a black and gold ring my father had left me) but these watches are brilliant and amongst the watches I have are Rolex and Omega, not keen so much on Rolex after I read about the way they treated George Daniels, but Omega bought his co-axial movement. Anyway,I like the way you can set them to the exact second and of course the accurancy is first-rate, plus you can just press a button to go from AM PM to 24 hours display. I am not aware of any weight on the wrist while wearing the watch. It gives the time, calendar, stop watch, alarm and night light, so has everything I really need most of the time and the price is excellent. I am not keen on steel bracelet watches and I much prefer digtal to analogue number display. The resin strap watch combination reminds me of the Rolex Yachtmaster, so that is fine. Perfect purchase and looks great, a real bargain and you get a stack for your money.
