Item turned in good time, packed nice and safe, works very well and takes all styles of phones. Can’t complain about it and was pretty cheap too, win win in my books
Fed up with damaging the air vents? This sticks to the dashboard firmly, doesn’t shake and holds the phone securely. KIV it only holds the phone in landscape, if that’s important to you.
I’ve been looking for a phone holder that actually holds my phone for ages. Every one before this has failed. This is perfect. Not as big as I thought which is great and fits nicely on my dash without obscuring my view.
My previous phone holder was connected to the air vent and moved around a lot.
This stays in place whilst I drive positioned in the best spot for viewing on my dashboard. The cable tidy slot is a bonus keeping the charging cable out of the way.
My friend used the car the other day and asked where I got it from as he wants one now.
This sits happily directly behind the steering wheel and appears quite stable and well adhered. Looks well made.
A couple of points: If you have the steering wheel high or you are short (I’m 5′ 10″) the steering wheel will partially obscure it in this location.
Secondly it only holds the phone in landscape orientation.
So it needs no suction for my two cars anyway.
Viewing is very easy and install is quick.
Only big problem you cannot put mobile up rate only sideways which is a pity.
Overall, I am very pleased with this car phone holder and would highly recommend it to others.
Pros:
Easy to use
Steady for the mobile
Versatile and can be mounted on a variety of surfaces
Cons:
None that I can think of
Overall:
Great car phone holder – easy to use and steady. Highly recommended.
Use it in my car where it is permanently mounted on top of dashboard for iPhone navigation. My car is an older model without CarPlay so this useful and convenient.
Sticks really well to the dashboard. Fits my phone in its case. Was nice to have a not black option! Much sturdier than most phone holders that suction and often fall off!! Would thoroughly recommend.
Great simple bit of kitprobably proof that keeping it simple works. I bought this for my heavy handed sister who breaks everythingespecially vent clipping phone holders.this is so simple and doesn’t rattle and the satnav is more viewable in landscape anyway. Great.
I have looked for a while for a phone holder as my dashboard doesn’t take the standard ‘vent’ fittings. This little holder is super and, so far, it has stuck firmly in one spot and not moved a millimetre! Very pleased with i
No magnets to mess with or clips that never stay put in the vents, to hope you phone grips well too. One handed use for this little gem! Just side your phone one with one hand! Unless you’ve got a magnet (that you have to position every time or just doesn’t magnetise) you usually got to use 2 hands to secure phone into position. Not with this handy little beauty! Tried & failed with so many phone holders and thank goodness I found this! 2 years later, & still as sticky as it was the day I bought it. Practically in daily use. Brilliant for sat-navving. Can’t sing enough praise about this simply splendid holder!
My phone fits perfectly (I have an iPhone XR with a protective case). The little grooves also allow the cable to be held neatly away. The sticky surface works perfectly too. No slippage. No movement. And after a few months of use already, it’s still perfect.
Bought it for my sons Aygo as that daft space above the radio served no purpose. This allows him to use his gps on his phone, and view the screen clearly when he is driving. The phone feels secure, and he was able to inset it with the phone pointing in his direction. The device sticks into place, and I think the space in front of the phone is for holding a few coins.
Didnt want a rattly plasticy phone holder obscuring the window, and I drive a ford fiesta which has a rather ugly clock in the centre of the dash, so I bought this item to sit there and hold my phone while I drive and by golly does it do the job well, it feels far more secure than in a spring loaded holder, or even a magnetic one for that matter, more importantly, it hides that horrible clock on my dash, thats a win in my books!
This is such a simple solution… I have tried many car phone holders … Magnetic, air vent, extension, loads and loads. This one sticks to the dashboard, even if it’s not totally flat. Phone is securely held, and I can see the navigation whilst still looking at the road.
I’m absolutely THRILLED with this! It is simple, low tech, and fully efficient.
Not sure how good the adhesive is as the edges have already peeled up a bit on my admittedly curved dashboard, but it hasn’t fallen off yet. Phone also has never fallen out.
I do have a smaller phone (s10e) than average and the 2 lips on the screen side that hold it in still cover a part of the screen. This isnt really shown in the pictures because the phone they are using must be tiny.
Having recently bought an iPhone 11 Pro Max, my old phone holder no longer held this securely. (Old phone was iPhone 8). This is good for having maps up on my phone when driving. Doesn’t obscure my view at all. My phone does tilt forward sometimes when driving which is a bit annoying but isn’t at risk of falling out. My car is a mini and I use this on the right hand side of the dashboard. It’s not completely flat so the sticky side does come up a bit. I’m not sure how it would hold up to regular transfers between cars.
