This root touch up spray is useful as a quick fix solution to cover up emerging grey hairs at root level. The spray is a little bit messy but I can confirm that it works. My wife is very happy with it.
Competitively priced at 6.35.
My rating is 5 Stars.
I hope you will find my review helpful.
This hair color product certainly lives up to its promise – it covers up any grey hairs you may have. With some practice to apply it correctly and avoid any messiness. Additionally, be cautious not to hold it too close to your scalp, as this can result in an overly dark tint over the scalp. Although the color intensity does not last long. This is not permanent solution for covering up greys but definitely helps in the last moment cover ups. overall it’s a good product and I would recommend giving it a try.
The black root touch-up spray I use is an easy and effective way to hide any regrowth and maintain a polished look.
It can stain however if washed off quickly it won’t be an issue, doesn’t linger around.
I’ve used it for root touch up and I like the fact that it also covers areas of your scalp where the isn’t as much hair which give an appearance of fuller head of hair.
This spray on soloution can be carried on a bag or even a pocket to touch up those nasty grey roots quickly and conveniently in seconds. Ideally you nerd to be near a mirror but most bathrooms in shops have those.
You just spray on and wipe off the excess. The range of colours means you are sure to find a match.
The price is good and this is therefore great value.
It is very easy to use and has very quick touch-ups. I do not fancy dying my hair and a quick touch-up near the root area is what I need. This one works perfectly well. Its colour is naturally black and I find it has a volumizing effect which is a bonus especially since my hair is quite thin. The effect will last for a few days and I can use it on demand. It is ammonia and peroxides-free. Happy with it so far.
I got this for my mum as she’s always complaining about grey hairs between salon visits. This seems to do the trick. It’s good at making white hairs disappear. She’s very happy with it.
Hides roots including grays, best using some vasaline around hairline so you can wipe it off, but definitely a must for between hairdresser appointments
I am just starting to get greys and don’t want to fully dye my hair yet so this is very handy when I need to quickly cover my grey hairs when they are showing too much or I’m self conscious about them.
Can be a bit tricky to use but after a few tries you get the hang of it. Great size for keeping in your bathroom cabinet or handbag and lasts really well, a little bit goes a long way.
This product is a great idea for those in between stages.
I like this spray it’s easy to use and just spray on. I use it to cover my strands of Grey and looks natural. Make sure you use something to cover your face when spraying though as difficult to get off otherwise !
Highly recommend it!
I’m never without a touch-up spray at home as when it is getting a week or two before my hair appointment, my pesky roots start coming through and as I’m dark, you see them a mile off. Luckily, these touch-up sprays are a godsend for making them disappear in seconds.
This spray is great but just beware that it is easy for it to get on your skin, which isn’t a great look. I generally get a piece of tissue, fold it over then use it as a shield on my forehead before I spray in short bursts onto the roots of the parting. I do the same on the side above my ear and before you know it, there are no more greys.
I highly recommend this product and after using this. I think I will be switching to this one from now on.
it’s a really good solution for quick cover up. This product is ammonia-free and peroxide-free, making it safe and gentle on your hair. You can achieve the look of freshly coloured hair in just minutes. it will make your hair looking fuller and more voluminous.
I will recommend it highly for parties.
Definitely better than L’oreal’s magic retouch – I know as I have used both.
This product is easy to apply – you just spray it on. Sparsely and then a bit more if required. Unlike L’oreals, the colour isn’t heavy making it look almost natural and there is little risk of transfer. I noticed it lasted a few days without the need for a retouch. I also like that it is not cold to apply on the scalp. L’oreal’s feels really cold on the scalp.
I can’t complain and as someone who really isn’t crazy about getting a permanent dye, this works just fine.
Great for touch up before a night out to cover greys quickly. Would recommend
My silver hairs are coming through thick and fast, I am always looking for alternatives to permanent dye to see me though to my next hairdressers appointment.
I haven’t used this make of spray before, and I have to say I am quite impressed. Like all these types of sprays you need to give the can a good shake and make sure you are not wearing anything that can stain as little spots tends to travel. I must say this one was a lot easier to use and remove than others. It can also be brushed through the hair after use and my hair still felt relatively soft, not clogged down with the product. Also doesn’t seem as transfer proof on to your hands like others I have used. My own hair also kept its shine, I find products like these can dim the hair and make it look like you have powder or something on it.
For the price 5.70 (currently) I think it is excellent value for money and I think it will last for some time.
The L’Oreal Root Touch Up Hair Colour Spray is an affordable and effective solution for those looking to quickly and easily touch up their roots between salon visits. It is a temporary solution and is priced lower than a leading competitor.
Using the product is straightforward – simply spray the colour onto your roots from a distance of 15cm. It’s important to wear protective clothing as the spray can stain the skin if over-applied, but this is easily remedied with a quick wipe. I used a piece of card to prevent the spray from going over onto the skin. It is possible to wipe off the over spray, but it does need to be done quickly.
It also helps with thinning hair (not balding hair). It produces a natural-looking result that isn’t overly shiny or noticeable, blending in seamlessly with your natural hair colour.
For men with sideburns, it can be a bit tricky to apply the spray onto a thin area due to the recommended distance of 15cm.
On the next day, there was no stain on the pillow or skin reaction. My volunteer is sensitive to hair dyes and it was great the next day, she saw no no issues or skin reactions.
Another product was sponge-based (hard to find nowadays) which my volunteer preferred as it gave more control on where to apply the touch-up. However, this spray works better over wider areas and much quicker for bigger areas.
There are pros and cons to using a spray-based product to the spray or sponge product. My volunteer would buy this product again. This spray based product is both better and cheaper then the competitor.
Overall, I would recommend this L’Oreal root touch up and it does give great results.
A little can which is a nice colour and it is simple to use. Make sure you cover your clothes before using it. Shake the can well and hold about 15cms from your head then spray. It comes up your roots so well. Be careful not to get it on your hands as it is tricky to get off. I think this does a fab job.
I’m always conscious to how quick my greys appear. this works great. 60 secs and my little greys have vanished, great item to have handy for no time to dye it fully
