Clementoni 61766 Science Museum Mechanical Lab-Space

I got this Clementoni hypercar a couple of weeks ago and also got the RC police car. On building the police car there were a number of missing pieces and one of the tyres was defective ( image 1) so I contacted Clementoni via the get product support link, they took two days to respond but after a couple of emails and pictures they are sending a replacement ( I’m not sure if it’s just the parts or a whole kit as there was a bit of a language barrier in the emails ) which is going to take a while to arrive as I believe it is coming from Italy. I have just assembled the hypercar and once again it has defective parts. Unfortunately this time it’s the parts that hold the wheels on to the back of the car. I have managed to bodge it so that it fits but it will not be able to be played with by my grandson because the wheels will come off. For the price of this I can’t be bothered to go through the hassle of emailing them again so it will be a display only model. So far I have bought 4 of the Clementoni models and two of them have had defective parts ( the floating space shuttle and Mars base were fine) so because 50% of the models I have bought have had defects hopefully they will read this review and improve their quality control but until then I will not be purchasing any more of their products and unfortunately because of this I am not able to recommend them either which is a shame because the quality of the materials in general was very good.
Update… I have decided to up the rating from two to four stars. After contacting Clementoni they sent me a complete replacement of the police car which was sent overnight with FedEx from Italy. The increase in the star rating is due to the customer service I have received from them.
