- Answer: Yes, the McLaren 675LT does, but not as fast and smooth as on a wooden flat floor.
- Q: How fast does it go?
- Answer: We would say 5-8 mph.
- Q:Is the remote control joystick or buttons?
- Answer: The remote is a joystick with forward and backwards functions, you can see the remote function on the video
- Q:If I buy two, will the controllers get confused or can i change radio channel?
- Answer: No they do not interfere as they run off 2.4Ghz,

This was a birthday present for a 5 year old boy who loved it. The initial order was lost in transit however, the matter received prompt and excellent support and service from Amazon staff. A replacement car was quickly provided. Well done Amazon.
My kids (4 and 7yo) love this. A very good price, I went with McLaren hoping it would be more durable and we haven’t been disappointed. The kids love how fast it goes. The only prep that has to be done is to put batteries into the car (underneath) and into the remote control. Seems to use up the batteries a fair amount – not sure if this is due to the car being used, or the power button underneath the car being left on, or both. However as I bought this for about 10, it has been extremely good value.
Happy with the quality for the price, we got two different ones and the kid was over the moon. They have been driven into walls and through puddles and we haven’t yet needed to change the batteries. (Bought for Christmas). Remote has okay range too.
We had an old friend over for christmas and both he and my husband are car enthusiasts. So I bought each the car they have and left it in a bag in the fireplace with a note from Santa. These men of 70 and 80+ were kids at heart running the cars around the house. Really excellent value, would order again.
Cool looking, pretty fast but not suited for off-road or stunts as the wheels are too small and it’s made from weak plastic so can’t take much beating. Pretty good at asphalt driving/racing and drift too. I would recommend this for children of very young age.
I bought 2, no interference when racing 2 together – as promised! Given to scouts to turn into ‘robot wars’ vehicles, the only thing that broke was one of the controllers switches, clumsy/overexcited scout not the fault of the car! But I was able to fix it and the cars live to fight another wa
It is a nice car, little cousin loved it but it is not vety durable. Will break if it hits the wall at the speed it runs on. But overall good for its price if driven with a little care.
Love that the wing mirrors are now rubber as I’ve bought simular versions for a 6yr old which always seems to snap them off, this version stands up to the rough rugged play of a heavy handed boy.
This Sweet little car is really well made and fun to play with, it is built to have fun and can take small bangs and bumps, I really do recommend it.
