Good quality , water resistant Columbia softshell.

Sleeves are a little bit long and the jacket is thinner than i expected but it’s really comfortable
Good value in a world full of overpriced outdoor gear. Does the job as far as being windproof is concerned but can’t attest to how water resistant it is yet. The sizing is fine if you like a snug fit and plan to wear with just a shirt underneath, but you may need to size up if you want any significant layering underneath. Having said that, it’s quite stretchy and the hood is decent too. Not perfect as I find it very slightly uncomfortable around the neck when fully zipped up, but that’s not a dealbreaker. Overall I would recommend for non-technical use if you want a jacket that packs relatively small to take the chill off when the wind picks up a bit. You can buy better softshells, but only for a lot more money.
Columbia sizes are usually a very big fitting and I’m normally and XL but usually a L is ok. This particular jacket is actually small fitting. Go a size larger.
Good quality jacket, great fit, good for autumn or early spring.

I ordered a large as most of my jackets but did seem a bit big
6ft 200lbs and got a Large, fits well but could probably get away with XL if you want more room
Not the most lightweight and packable for hiking, but for standard use it is great. Keeps me warm with a nice fleece inside and then breaks the wind very well. Looks smart too.
Looks alright. Hood is a bit big and arms a little long but fits alright.
Hope it is water resistant as stated
The hoodie is very large and the adjustment cords at the sides are not very easy to use and make it look bad.

I am 190 90kg and it was good i got the L instead of my usual XL
The arm length is great but i think the designer has acromegaly so most people will find the sleeves too long and the xl would be too long even for me

If you dont fasten it at the back worh the velcro you dont see where you are going 🙂

I thought that the jacket will be warmer but it is not… evrything else was fine. I got it in time strait home and it was very convinient.
The most great softshell I had, I bought this one in black color before 2 years ago and now I order another one with diffrent color! Its very good for a rainy day and the capability to unzip the hood is very cool!
Good jacket, looks good to me and fitted. The only reason I’m starred 4 because it is not weared as comfortable I expected. Little too tight, maybe because of that it looks good. Can be more warm..
Jacket looks and feels great. I’m quite a big bloke, not the biggest but broad shoulders. I bought the large and it’s very well fitted, not baggy at all. I’ve found it surprisingly warm given how thin it is and very waterproof. Well pleased!
My first soft shell, I normally buy fleeces. This is a lot more versatile. I have only been out in showers and it keeps me dry. Also as far as I can feel it is wind proof but have not been out in a gale. It could also be used as a mid layer.
The hip drawstring is essential because it stops the wind coming in from under the jacket.
I normal by XXL but followed advice and bought this coat in XLand it fits well.
This is my first Columbia purchase in quite a few years, but the quality remains as high as I remember it.
Fit as expected, incredibly good fit and nice and warm. Keeps every drop of rain off you and is really stylish. A faultless product, a mark of a good brand!
