Ok so it’s cheap. It does feel a little flimsy when pressing the buttons. The light is good if a bit stark. The fan tho, is fairly quiet even on full chatter. The fixing screws are a pig to get to and you will need a very long screwdriver or a flexible extension as the motor is in the way. For the price I don’t think you can grumble at all.
Suction seems good.
Vent pipe is 150mm which is included with the unit.
Let’s see how long it lasts.

Great value for money. Just what we needed to replace our old broken extractor fan. Bit fiddly to install, needed 2 people but looks good, good suction & the light is impressive. Bought some filters to line inside as ours is recirculating. Hope it lasts longer than the old one!

Really nice extractor fan in black…however it does not come with charcoal filters and cannot find any available for this product. So I have a nice looking extractor fan that I cannot use as I do not have a outside wall. Nice ornament though.

Good value. Quality product. Quiet fan. Relatively easy to fit. The downside: a little bit too heavy for a basic extractor. And its suction area is far too small, so we have to mount it slightly high.

———— Review after 1 month: it works well, looks really nice, and quite energy efficient. It has 4 gears. Hope it’s durable. It’s not as effective as my previous one since it’s sickroom area seems a bit too mall. So far I stick to my 4 star rating, and hope to give honest feedbacks. Possibly update again after another year. In short, it’s good value and good quality with nice looking.

I bought this as a package with the filters included and the filters are the reason I have 4 stars.
There are no filter fitting instructions supplied with the hood or the filters and you have to work this out. Once you have it sussed, then the fun starts trying to fit them as it’s so tight to get your hands in.
I wish I had not bought the filters and when these stop working, I will not replace.

A replacement for much older style cooker hood. It looks good , however you do need some diy skills and knowledge of electrics which I don’t have.
Factor in charge for fitting.
