Very easy to use if you follow the instructions.
Very useful for areas that cannot be drilled for traditional hooks or nails, such as areas that contain live cables/ wires.
Very good value really easy to put on the wall or door for an instant hook for your clothes or whatever, with extra stickers, I bought some a few years ago and they are still working, so bought more for other uses
I used 3 of these spread across a beam in my kitchen and hung 2x 7m garlands= 14m of 2x bushy,heavy battery operated garlands.Theu haven’t moved or fell off I am very impressed with this product and I will be buying more.
Bought these to hang a very heavy chrismas garland over a marble fireplace mantlepiece. Have used previously and command hooks never failed! Easy to use and remove. Follow instructions and make sure you leave enough of the removal strip showing so that you can gently pull the strip down to remove the hook.
We wanted six hooks in a hurry without damaging the walls. These did the job perfectly. They are not the most elegant, but we only needed functional. Will use again.
Item arrived few days after arriving, but did not arrive in the branded packaging as shown in the photo. Just received an envelope with the refill pads in lose lying.
I followed all the instructions, left it an hour as instructed, put dressing gowns on hooks. Several hours later they had both fallen off! Second attempt more successful but I left the hooks 24 hours before use. Holding so far, 2 days later!
I love command strips for hanging photo frames on the wall instead of damaging with raw plugs and screws. It can be hard to find refills in store so I was delighted to see they ate available on amazon. I also use them for attaching soap dispensers – anything really within the max weight stated on the packer. Standard price.
My husband was sceptical that they would work, I put a few up in the wardrobe for jackets. I told him that if we didn’t like them then they pulled off again.
They were very easy to use; it says on the packet to clean the wall space with rubbing alcohol, this is not something we had, however I cleaned the wall with hand sanitizer (which is alcohol) and that worked great.
While I was out my husband decided he wanted to move the hooks, so he pulled them off. Literally yanked them off the wall, it took a lot of force, and took a chunk of wall with them, so this proves how strong they are! Had he waited until I got home I could have showed him how to remove them properly, they come of easy, no force, no marks & no hole in the wall!

This is the largest size that 3M offer and also the most common type. There is also a clear version and a water-resistant version which each have their own advantages. In all the years that I have used them, I have never experienced one of the strips to fail provided the simple instructions are followed. Pure isopropyl alcohol works very well but so does petrol-based lighter fuel (Ronsonol and others) for cleaning most surfaces if used with care and allowed to dry. I have used them on painted and unpainted wood, glass, smooth ceramic tiles and metal at various times. They can be used on wallpapered surfaces provided that the surface is also smooth and not textured.
Worthwhile to have available as 3M appear to be reducing the number of provided spares with most products to either one or none.
