Perfect for the power hungry rtx series of GPU, paired with a Ryzen 9 5950x…
I’ve never had modular PSUs before and I just want to say they are much more simple to setup and customize. So far this seems to be powering my computer pretty well and I shouldn’t need an upgrade for a few years.
Was easy to install but I am a IT Technician. Not to noise
The price sold me and it looks great with all black cables
Purchased this to replace a semi modular Corsair CS750M that went on the blink after 7 years.
Works as expected. Seems quiet enough as I can’t hear it over the fans on the desktop case.
I was hoping to re-use the sata power cables from the CS750M but had to use the supplied cables as the connection type was different on the power supply.
Very quite, great power efficiency, be ware if you have a tighter space for power supply like me, that it will fit but might be a bit if a squeeze
Excellent non-modular power supply I had to install because of a power surge (also bought a protective extension cord). Was this model that broke. Don’t know if it was the model or pure luck, but it didnt’ break the rest of my PC components, so it must have been doing something right. Have heard of other crappy components breaking as a consequence of poor PSUs.
It was really easy to install the wires where no fuss and i had it installed within 10 min easy. The fan on it is silent cant even hear it.
It arrived as promised and just what i wanted, installed and working fine.
Ive had this for about 2 years now and it still works to this day.
But I have had issues over it turning off, crashing games randomly but It’s a momentary fix.
Overall, this PSU is great for a 600w rig. The cons id say is that the fan is noticeably loud, to the degree that when its turned on I cant take my headphones due to the volume.
So many cables, really high quality, but just very loud. If your case has acoustic material then your fine, im using a corsair 4000x white so you can hear it at its full volume
Got a great deal on this on a sale day. The cables are a basic. But can’t complain for the price I got it for.
I’d of just been a more bothered if I paid full price
I got this psu for 29.30 so this was a good deal. This psu has: 1 24pin, 1 8pin for CPU, 2 sets of 6 pin and 2 pin for pcie, 6 sata cables and some molex connecters. So for the most part, there won’t be that many excess cables in your case. This PSU is also on the bigger side but should fit into any case.
Easy to install, every wire is labelled to the corresponding outlet… I had a 450w from this same make and used that to game. Even though it was dangerous it didn’t fault on me and months later I buy this 850w and comes with a big fan fits nicely in a small ATX-mini case.
he psu is fitted in the thermaltake core p7 modded case and is very silent the last coolmaster psu needed replacing so i deciced to replace it with the v2 not dissapointed very pleased i did so
Been fitted a couple of months now and all is well.
+`ve power output is nice and stable. noise is at a very quiet level.
-`ve only problem I found was the power cables were ribbon form and not round cables just makes it a little harder to move around P.C. ( not impossible though)
The positives outweigh the negative and I this is a gem of a power supply to buy.
I was using a 900W before this, it was an older model but it checks out. After installing I got a consistent 200MHz at least increase on my clock speed. Doesn’t make sense because power is power but those are the facts.
This PSU 850w model is perfect. My old psu was giving me random restarts when under load sometimes after few minutes and sometimes after few hours. After installing that one and playing re village on max settings in 4k it didnt break a sweat even for a moment. Finished game straight on 10 hours and pc didnt restart even once. Cooler Master MWE 850 Gold V2 its great for any pc and configuration. Very happy with the purchase and it have 5 years warranty. For the price there is nothing better. Strongly reccomend A+++++
I’m relieved to say that a rattling sound on my newly built PC was caused by this new PSU. If your PC makes a rattling noise on start up, it is likely, as in my case, that the decorative fan protection with the Cooler Master logo was screwed in too tight in 2 places which caused the fan to touch it upon operation and make the rattle sound. Simply remove or loosen the screws to make the noise disappear.
Unfortunately whoever screwed them in too tight also damaged the threading but it was OK as for me it was on opposite sides so it still held in place.
i tried to overclock my cpu but the psu started crying and full on turned off, im assuming it thought there was a power surge cause i was overclocking my cpu quite a lot to test the limi
The psu itself is extremely good value. You can feel the quality from both the packaging and the product and feels like one hefty piece of equipment. The psu worked just as expected out of the box and I haven’t had any problem with temps. I do wish the cables were a bit less stiff because the do make cable management a bit of a pai
Not much to say about this unit, it was simple to install. Just make sure that you use the supplied cabling when installing. A pain to remove the existing cabling but I tried using existing cabling and PC wouldn’t post and no psu switching on nor supply to board. Replacing the cabling and ensuring it was fully plugged into the PSU resolved and worked flawlessly since.
PSU are really boring. What can you say? They either work or don’t and thats it, its like trying to review a postage stamp, it looks and does what you expect, what more do you want?
Well the fan does run quiet, almost silent infact which is nice.
It is pretty quiet, the cables are long enough to install. The cables are also flat so it saves the trouble when closing the lid of the case. So far so good.
I had to build a PC for friend, I needed a good PSU as this PC will be used most off the day. I chose this because I have used corsair in the past and they have been very reliable for me my previous builds. I put this into a system with a 65 watt 10th gen i310100 with H410 board and two HDD and M.2 SSD, the case also had three 120mm system fans. I have no doubt this will last for years this will easily power more intense systems even with only 400 watts. The power is constant and there are no fluctuations in power, having a steady power supply will also prolong the life of the component’s. The PSU comes with all the standard SATA connections and the cables are braided. I definitely recommend this PSU especially at this price.
Solid power supply and does the job, one of my 8 pin GPU power connectors doesn’t work but I only need 1 so it is not an issue. Cheers for the quick delivery
Its a 700w psu, it runs my vega 56 and ryzen 7 1700 fine, however it is a loud running unit, my corsair 550w ran slot quieter with my setup, however I need the extra watts from this 700w unit. It works fine, just noisy
I bought this Psu like 3 days ago. And it came even earlier than it should have . I wanted to get this psu for my gtx 970 which requires two 6 pin connectors and this one has it . im really happy with it because there s no noise while gaming and it s incredible. I do recommend this for medium pcs. 500w for i5 7400 8gb ram and gtx 970 . It s a very good Psu and i recommend i
This was an easy install. The old one unscrewed and this one screwed in.
There is an 8 pin thing that you can pull apart with your hands to just plug 4 pins in and that was all the difficulty I had with it.
Plenty of connectors.
If you’ve never changed a power box over before, just take a photo of where it all connects first, to refer to.
Took about 3 minutes to put in and then a bit of tidying up.
Doesnt come with cable ties and you will most likely need some.
Although only 400 w it is currently powering an I5 with 8 gb Ram GTX 1050ti with several HHD drives no problem the PSU comes well packed and secure easy to install and is almost silent when under load i have other systems and friends who always say never cheap out on a PSU and i agree but this is Amazing value expecially being from coolermaster who in my opinion Mostly make entry level good quality PC componants 4 / 5 practicality 5 / 5 value for money A good solid PSU for smaller PCs and beginer to entry level building
For the price, it’s a great power supply that is powering a 2070 Super and 10th gen intel without fail. Have done some minor overclocking and had no issues, although these tests weren’t for long periods. Played some 4k RTX games and flight simulator for long-ish periods without fail. Seems to be a great low-budget gaming PSU.
Noise level is good but it could be a little bit quieter. This is just nit-picking though, it’s certainly not something I notice after I start doing something on it.
Comes with a UK plug, which I know someone left a bad review for, so can’t tell if I the reviewer was unlucky or if they’ve fixed this problem.
Had issue with Thermaltake (which I had to send back) and needed to complete the system build so ordered this.
Not been in long, but can say its very quiet and does the job. Only complaint is the cost really but I needed it quickly and that is Covid-19 supply chain problems for you!
I was a bit skeptical at first because it didn’t have any reviews, though I do trust Cooler Master, but I was surprised how good this power supply is. It stable, reliable and stays really silent. However, there are better-valued power supplies out there in the same category. But because it was the only PSU that would ship to my region at the time of order, I was forced to roll with this one. However, It’s a great PSU overall and if you want a PSU that looks good and has no ketchup and mustard cables, then totally go for it.
I bought this because my corsair 550w packed up after 6 months with minimal use and I can say since I got this I have used it a lot more than the other one with no problems with cutting off/shorting out. The noise level is reasonably quiet aswell so I am very happy with that.
It was very easy to install, no harder than any others as the cables are slim and easy to tuck away.
What else can I say it is perfectly priced and you get more quality than you expect.
